Grandson and I have our Poppop and Wade day dinner here once a week. Wade is four and always wants to come here..because We can order breakfast all day. We usually have the pancakes.... they are huge and delicious. I have ordered other items....always great. We always sit on patio overlooking tree lined street. Wait staff always perfect. Little jewel not far from University.

I was not sure what to expect when I walked into this quaint little neighborhood cafe. I was delightfully surprised. The tomato soup was delicious. It had a little more kick than your usual tomato soup does . . . and I like that. I also had the Greek Chicken Wrap. It was equally fabulous. If you are in the area and would like to have something better than all the typical chains of restaurants provide, this just might be the place for you. * Do not expect the speed of fast food when you are eating food that is far superior to fast food.

I had a fantastic experience. The young man running the place was hospitable, knowledgeable (got the right beer), cooked my burger perfectly & handled cashier duties promptly and accurately. A real one man show. Ambiance of a true neighborhood cafe.

Most excellent meal and atmosphere. Reminded me of growing up in the 50's through 60's and enjoying a great home grown. Breakfast was so gratifying and tasty. Reminded of our farm eggs of yesteryear. Very nostalgic.

Hidden away off a major street, its a no frills gem of a cafe. Breakfast served all day no less to feed a college and medical crowd. Burgers and sandwiches too. Small and cozy inside with an outdoor patio. Beer served, cheap. Great food. If you want a fancy place this isn't for you. If you want good food with reasonable prices its all that. Limited and street parking. Worth a visit.

Okay my definition of a great breakfast is based on the pancakes. The pancakes were awesome so if that what you like you can't go wrong.

Been here two times and I will say it is a great, not crowded spot to have a nice Breakfast, Brunch or dinner. They recently changed their hours (since I started looking a month ago) so that they are usually open till 8pm. Menu is all day, so I came in for a late brunch. Food is good. The Bathrooms are clean but wouldn't be my first choice, but they are ok. Lastly, their weekday specials change weekly to my knowledge. When i first came in, I got the Avocado toast special and that was really good. My second time here, I didn't get the special, but instead got the breakfast scramble. Also really good and reasonably priced for students or people looking for cheap eats! Highly recommend!

Somehow this place slipped past my radar until recently. Fantastic service, greeted and seated immediately. Food came out fresh and delicious. The pancake is amazing along with the rest of my food. The prices are affordable despite the present economy while maintaining quality. Highly recommend to anyone looking for delicious diner style food.

Of all the things that change, this staple stays the same. Perfect buffer between campus and the medical center this counter cafe has consistently delivered for decades. The staff is delightful, the patio is spacious and the coffee is always fresh. The portions are still generous and there are plenty of options to choose from.

I stopped here after a visit to the LBJ library. I was promptly greeted, seated, and brought a menu. The wait staff is very friendly. You can tell this place has some history to it. I ordered an omelet with the home fries. It was huge and delicious. No complaints. This place is good, honest food served by friendly people. Definitely try this if you’re in the area.

This place has been around forever and a favorite breakfast hangout for the UT crowds. They also have great lunches. We tried the tortillas soup with a turkey club and a Texas burger. All were delicious. Service was good and the place had an austin vibe. Seating indoors and outdoors. I have been a patron here for over 20 years and it never disappoints. Highly recommend.

It was a nice local breakfast place. I ordered a Santa Barbara omelette with hash browns. It was good. Toast was good with honey. Omelette was okay. Hash browns was really good. I think it might be better if I had egg benedict plate for the weekend. It is at a very good price for food. I am taking points off because I don’t find omelette that unique or good

Super good! Place has apparently been here for years, but I've never ever seen or heard about it! Definitely a hidden gem. I had an egg white omelette with a blueberry multigrain pancake. My friends had the French toast and a Denver Omelet. All great! Staff was friendly. Prices reasonable. Will definitely be coming back my next trip to Austin!

I’ve lived in the area for over 8 years and just discovered this cute little café tucked away in a neighborhood. Our usual stomping ground for breakfast is off Manor road but we wanted to try something different and were extremely satisfied with everything. The menu has a lot of options so we’ll definitely be back to try more.

Nice cafe! Loved that there was no wait for breakfast on Sunday. The Yankee omelet was great. Staff was nice and attentive. Whoever makes their playlist has good music taste.
