A pleasant surprise in the newer hip District of Austin, Texas. I love the modern decor as I walked into this 5 year old establishment. The space was quickly filling up at 6:30. We were ushered to a tiny table in the corner. The smell of this Korean restaurant was very inviting. Drink menu has a lot of Korean influence but I decided on an aged soy old fashion. To my surprise, the soy sauce works very well & it arrives at the end of your tasting cycle. Dinner was spectacular & the service was excellent! Since it was my friend’s birthday, I had to order a dessert. Floating cloud is how they named it. The texture is nothing else that I have tasted before. It’s firmer than a Custer, but softer than a frozen yogurt! Surprisingly satisfied! I would definitely come back to try different drinks and food items. This is the place where they know how to serve their clients and know how to prepare their food. And most of all they know how to do Fun!

Can’t speak high enough about Oseyo! The food was fantastic, the drinks were delicious, the atmosphere is gorgeous. The Korean Fried Cauliflower is to die for. We went two nights in a row to make sure we got to try the Korean Fried Chicken. I would go back in a heartbeat.

I’m not an adventurous eater. My husband wanted to go to Oseyo and I agreed. We ordered a variety of plates and boy was I happy about it! We came late on Sunday and parking was not an issue. The atmosphere was rustic and we were both very comfortable. The wait staff was helpful and answered our questions. I have never understood how anyone eats Kim Chi, until tonight. I had a fantastic non-alcoholic drink called the K-pop. My husband was bedside himself over all of the dishes and, surprisingly, so was I. Very fun meal!

Really enjoyed this restaurant - most of the food was great. Got the spicy sweet Korean fried chicken and thought that was fantastic 8/10. The Oseyo shrimp cocktail was very unexpected but lots of great flavors and bigger than expected 9/10. Wouldn’t order the corn dogs again

Oseyooooo!! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Oseyo, and it was a culinary journey that left me utterly impressed. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm and inviting atmosphere of the restaurant. The traditional Korean décor and soft, ambient music set the stage for an authentic experience. The staff were incredibly hospitable and made me feel right at home. The menu at Oseyo was a treasure trove of Korean delicacies. I couldn't resist trying some classic dishes, including Bibimbap and Bulgogi. The flavors were simply outstanding, and the presentation was a feast for the eyes. The Bibimbap, with its colorful array of vegetables and perfectly seasoned meat, was a delicious masterpiece. One of the highlights of my meal was definitely the mango margarita. We thought it was gonna be sweet but it was floral with a hint of boldness. It will definitely sneak up on you if you drink more than one. To accompany the meal, I enjoyed a selection of traditional Korean side dishes like kimchi, pickled vegetables, and various banchan. They added depth and variety to the dining experience. The authenticity of the cuisine and the attention to detail in each dish was remarkable. It was clear that the chefs at Oseyo take great pride in their craft and use high-quality ingredients. In conclusion, Oseyo offers a truly authentic Korean dining experience that's a must-try for anyone seeking a taste of Korea. The food, ambiance, and service all come together to create a memorable culinary adventure. I look forward to returning to explore more of their delectable offerings.

Oseyo has an amazing vibe to it. Definitely a date night spot. The 1-2 star reviews of this place are I think unjustified. While yes the prices are high for what you get, they make up for it through the dining experience and the ambiance. For a cold fall or winter night, I recommend the soups they have on the menu.

It has good atmosphere and interior. But not an authentic Korean food. You may enjoy different taste of Korean food.

Came here with a big group for a birthday dinner. I loved the rustic modern interior. This is not your traditional Korean bbq. These are traditional and non traditional modern dishes. We shared everything we ordered. Service was awesome especially with our big group. Drinks were really good! And of course the food was bomb. You won't regret coming here.

Tight squeeze for a wheelchair. The staff was very friendly. Was busy for a Wednesday, so I would recommend a reservation. The kimchi was delicious, and I love that a basket of lettuce was served with rice like in Korea. I overheard people stating that their food was too spicey. They added cinnamon or nutmeg to some meat dish was isn't common for Korean food. It was good, clean and fun...

So good!! This place is full of flavors and can accommodate VG and gluten free. I was accompanied by a friend who lived in Korea and was very pleased with the whole experience. Food is very reasonably priced and family style. A must try!

Undeniably the best Korean inspired restaurant! The garden courtyard beautifully set with cool mist to keep you cool. The small plates are truly delicious. I had the rice bowl with ribeye. So delicious! Husband had the lettuce wraps also good. He didn’t care too much for the rice but nonetheless delicious. Oh, the cocktails!! They have great bartenders here that really know the art of great bartending. We enjoyed the margarita.

Oseyo is one of our “on rotation” spots for when we want to just chill and eat amazing food. The happy hour is good (if I manage to make it that early) and the drink selection is one of a kind. The bartender has also happy to make a hand squeezed lemonade for us in the past, so amazing service, as well! Our 5 year old loves the choices from the kids menu, and no parent can go wrong ordering the kids grill (even picky eaters tend to eat chicken and rice)! I find myself grabbing a deliciously smoked piece of chicken off his plate every time he orders it. As for me, I am here for the comfort food and tend to get the bulgogi. It’s cooked perfectly every time and comes with a well portioned side of steamed rice, sauces, and banchan (think kimchi), and for those so inclined, lettuce to build your own wrap. This is a full family dish if you want to enjoy among 2-3 adults and not have leftovers, however taking some home is a highlight for me. If you see it (I think only on on the happy hour menu,) get the shrimp appetizer (the name of which I can not remember and they don’t always have it). Again, service is great and the acoustics allow for good conversation. If only they would let me buy their art and potted plants…

Been here twice in recent weeks, the food is so great and the variety of the dishes is awesome. Both times I was with large groups of people and they served us very promptly. It was a really unique and interesting dining experience that my guests really enjoyed. Highly recommend checking it out.

Really good food and service! I haven’t had much Korean food so idk how it competes to other spots around town but we enjoyed our orders for the most part! 🏅 It’s pricy, even on happy hour ($12 cocktails on hh) but the small plates are discounted which is nice. We ordered the Korean fried chicken, steamed dumplings (not pictured and I did not like these - the flavor was off and the dumpling wrapper seemed stale and hard), the short rib from the wood fire menu (so good - comes with lettuce and toppings to make wraps - feels healthy lol), and ended with the malted barley ice cream (love - tasted like the cereal, Smacks) and the mango gochuchang sorbet (very yum). Vibes are cute and our server did a great job. 🙏

Yums. Made a reservation for a Wednesday night at 9pm and there was plenty of seating available. They did not have hot sake on the menu, and also were out of the milky cold Nigori sake. I ended up ordering the Sparkling Chardonnay, it is delicious and perfect to pair with spicy food.. For starters, the fried chicken is delicious. The portion is two tiny pieces of breaded chicken -think about two nuggets. It comes with a tasty side of pickled veggies. For entree -and apologies, cant remember their exact menu names- we ordered the chicken lettuce rolls and the kimchy fried rice with pork. Portions are huge. I found my rice a bit too high in salty notes. The fried egg was cooked to perfection. The lettuce rolls came with the chicken -hot on a fajita style skillet- a bowl with plenty lettuce leaves, a nice serving of black and white rice -that turns a beautiful shade of purple, I thought it was squid ink. Additionally, it came with a tray with about six additional accouterments of pickled veggies (cucumbers, cabbage, olives, seaweed, etc). Plenty for two to share. The restaurant has a very eclectic interior decoration, and indoors and outdoors seating. It also has a nice bar with seating for solo guests. I would go back.

Recently relocated to the area. Loved everything about this space. Good vibes. The food was exceptional though definitely not traditionally Korean. Lacking in depth of flavor. We will likely return for happy hour only as they were a bit overpriced—like most of Austin.
