Highly recommend! We have enjoyed this restaurant both dining in and to-go. It has always been delicious and exactly how we ordered it. They are very attentive and friendly. On our last visit we had garlic and butter naan; butter chicken, chicken Tikka masala, and chicken samosas. The portions are very generous and we definitely had leftovers for lunch the next day. The food, the environment, and authenticity make this such a nice spot for dinner.
The atmosphere was nice and clean. The host was nice and helped us navigate the menu. We had the chicken samosa and garlic naan bread as an appetizer🤤. The entrees: lamb tikka marsala, and lamb curry! The lamb was very hot upon serving and the lamb was tender! The music on the tv was pretty cool and they had an extensive drink menu from mixed drinks to wines. I will definitely be back to try their seafood dishes.
The vegetable biryani was excellent. Be prepared to take food with you because the serving size is quite large. The raita was not super flavorful. The tiki masala was very rich and creamy! The nan was perfect.
At Jaipur Palace, the menu is extensive and filled with wonderful selection of delicious entrees. The food is amazing and the service is excellent! I feel like I am dining in a fancy restaurant because the staff treat everyone with such kind attention. Portions are large and it’s hard to eat everything (but I try).
EDIT: went back again and can say the Butter chicken is much better than Butter Lamb! Chicken just blends better with the sauce. For a Lamb dish I highly recommend Lamb Tikka Masala. It's very 👍👍👍👍
Got the Butter Lamb (spicy level), and it was delicious! We also got the Goat Saagwala (spinach dish) at an Indian Spicy Level. It was indeed very spicy, but that flavor was not lost in the spice. The only thing we did not like was the amount of bones in the goat dish, but other than that, it was still worth it. You may want to try it with chicken instead. Service was great as well. Staff were very swift and always came up to ask how we were doing. Would definitely recommend this place specifically for the Butter Lamb and garlic naan.
I absolutely adore this place. They have the BEST butter chicken and garlic naan! The atmosphere is so chill and the staff is very friendly. My waiter, Cavin, was so kind and knowledgeable. He took the time to talk me through the menu and offered his suggestions and preferences. I will definitely be back! ❤️
We had a good experience and the food was toothsome, steaming hot and fresh.
Portion sizes were also good 👍🏻.
Worth trying 👍🏻.
This Indian restaurant exceeded expectations with its rich and authentic flavors. The diverse menu offered a delightful array of dishes, showcasing the chef's skill in capturing the essence of Indian cuisine. The warm ambiance and attentive service added to the overall exceptional dining experience.
Great taste! Good cocktails. Very reasonably priced food compared to other indian places.
Took me to Jaipur, artistically made naan’s, loved the thin crust, mixed platter is amazing, must try
It took too long for me to tried this terrific Indian restaurant in South Austin. Jaipur Palace Indian Restaurant can't believe, it was one of few times in my life that I was able to eat same things for 3 meals a day. The food were amazing by authentic Indian species and seasonings. My chicken tikka masala was delicious, it was so creamy and smooth with the balance of taste and spices. The shrimps biryani was amazing! It blows my mind with all spices and fried shallot in there. I was grateful to picked the right choices. I am definitely going back, probably tomorrow 😋
I have not been here in quite some time and was in the mood for Indian. I was quickly seated and served water. When I realized I needed to stop looking at my menu, the server was immediately there to take my order which was nice.
I ordered pappadum which comes with two yummy chutneys. For my entree, I ordered medium Goat Tikki Masala. This is my first foray into choosing goat which I'm surprised since I've eaten in many places across the world. The goat was tender and scrumptious. And after I decided to put my normal fork/knife eating aside, I was able to eaten by every last non-bone morsel on my plate. Goat is definitely on my order list from now on.
Update: still going strong, best place to eat!! Just a great environment. The people who run this place are sooooo kind and sweet and encouraging to try new food!
I have become addicted to this place. Family friendly. Date night friendly. The staff is soooo friendly and gave us a free desert that was delicious. Butter Salmon is my absolute favorite. So good and succulent and the flavors are so good!! 100 out of 10 for sure!!
This is literally the best Indian food in Austin! I am a bit of a connoisseur of Indian food and some places are good, but this place is amazing! Opportunity that we can oftentimes we will order six to 10 dishes and have a large family style meal where everyone shares everything as is traditional. The samosas the non the pecoras all the appetizers are amazing! The butter chicken, the korma chicken, the salmon Tikka, chicken vindaloo all of their dishes. Whatever protein you choose. Salmon goat chicken veggie paneer they are all absolutely delicious. The sauces are so on point, as is the properly spiced rice. If you are looking for good Indian, this is the place in Austin that you want to be.
Absolutely incredible. The samosas, samosa chaat, buttered chicken, buttered lamb, chicken tikka masala were all sooo good. Th garlic naan is perfect to pair with any of them.
This place was recommended as the most authentic by someone who lived in India.
It’s been one of my favorite Indian restaurants for a while, and recently revisited.
The chia masala is delicious, not super sweet but just the right spices.
💯recommend this place!
Absolutely astonishing restaurant. I'm in awe of this food. Great atmosphere while we waited for take out. The bar staff were fun to chat to and great with helping to point out the veggie options on there and how to make them vegan. Will definitely come back the next time I'm in the area.
