Hunan Riverplace is great! Lunch is always fresh and the staff courteous with speedy service. I have become a regular and have tried a variety of dishes that never disappoint. Clearly a bargain and a favorite as this place is frequently buzzing with activity. I've also scored several freebies through their customer reward system. Highly recommend!

Hunan Riverplace is great! Always quick service, the food is always fresh, the owners are friendly and the staff is great! And the lunch is definitely worth the money! The dining room is a little small, but we mostly do take out anyways!

My neighbors preach about this place all the time so my lady and I finally decided to go for some soup. We were first going to order it for delivery and decided to come in for take out. I am so glad we went in because we had the pleasure of meeting "Ray" the owner. He was such a positive and kind person that I don't think I could eat anywhere else. 5 star service all the way. Thank you Ray (and daughter) for making our experience at Hunan Absolutely amazing.

I'm from out town, which is disappointing, because I would be coming to this place all the time! Probably a good thing I can't (need to lose weight.) I ordered the Orange Peel Chicken Entree, which could have easily fed 3 people. Had a side of fried rice, which was piled so high, it should have been two bowls. Needless to say, I had a to go box that will be my next lunch/dinner. The food was not only plentiful, but delicious. And the big man behind the counter was super nice and helpful. Also, there is plenty of different sauces on the tables to season, if needed. You won't see this place from the road, but it's there. Doesn't look like much, but worth the trip!
Friendly atmosphere in a great location! The food is reasonably priced and is DELICIOUS!! Great customer service, the food comes out very quickly and is hot and fresh! The beef bulgogi was perfect and brought back fond memories of my time in South Korea. I cannot wait to come back to try everything else on the menu!

Their staff and owner are without fail friendly, accommodating and down to earth. Highly recommend!!
Have always done take out and food is always good. Generous portions as well. Staff is friendly. Service is fast. However, you may want to steer clear if you have shellfish allergies. Cross contamination is a thing plus they use oyster sauce in many of the dishes.
Great food for the price. I've had about half the menu so far and I'm impressed...sweet and sour chicken was awesome, as was the Beijing beef. Message to the owner: most of what I've ordered was MASSIVELY over served. Literally over a pound of chicken lo mien, on several occassions. Big waste, and is causing the food to take too long to prep/cook/serve/, thus wasted time, thus the missing star. Yes, I'm not Texan enough to appreciate the food volume, but I would eat here more if it were a bit faster.
After working in the area for a couple years I've come to realize that this is the best food, and by far the best lunch special, in the area. A huge entree, soup, rice and eggroll for under 10 bucks can't be beat! Plus they always have it made quick and packaged perfectly for travel. Food is excellent as well, with probably 50 plus choices of different sauces and vegetables with your choice of meat. Plus, huge portions that I always eagerly save for the next day or dinner, my favorites being the Spicy Bulgogi and the Salt and Pepper chicken. Can't really knock this place at all except sometimes there aren't too many empty tables given the location size!
I've been to Hunan River place a couple of times and have always been satisfied with how much portion you get for the price (especially the lunch menu). Its a small place but even after I order and sit down I still am checked on every once in a while, which surprises me for a place that looks like they have more take out orders than anything else. I usually get the sesame chicken and potstickers. Great portions, I always leave full, with left overs, and satisfied. :) Its also clean and has friendly staff!
I was so disappointed when I pulled up. It looks like one of those bad Chinese food places with only takeout. But there are actually tables so I begrudgingly went in.
I WAS SO WRONG!!! The food is insanely delicious. It's the quality of the really expensive and fancy places. It was immediately cooked for me and I couldn't be happier. ♥️♥️♥️♥️
