Without a doubt, the best food truck in Austin. On my last visit I had smoked ratatouille crostini + quail stuffed with bacon, macaroni & cheese, and covered with Alabama white sauce. That's a meal befitting a fine dining restaurant. Excellent, friendly service by a team of veteran food pros makes for a very wonderful experience. Easily 5-stars.
Fantastic BBQ. Highly recommend the barbacoa. Brisket was also top notch. Definitely come check it out!
Phenomenal! True central TX barbecue, along with some more unique meats/sides/desserts, and the entire menu has a chef's touch.
I stopped by after climbing next door and had the beef cheeks with the beet bbq sauce, they are SUPERB!!! Then took another 1/4pound to go. Thanks for the friendly and inviting service, and delicious food.
The beef shank was wonderful but that Kale Coleslaw was the best...
The spicy cucumber salad and cantaloupe & tomatoes salad were delicious sides, and the brisket & boudin were excellent! I also loved the peppery BBQ sauce.
First day, they came out gunning w/ killer beef cheeks, lamb belly and top notch sides. Excited for what's on tap for them moving forward.

AbFab Brisket sandwich with hot Kimchi- OMG wonderful! And right across from a Winery! Highly recommend!
We came by last Saturday and bought brisket, pulled pork and cucumber salad. Everything was delicious!
Best bbq in Austin, period. Every meat I’ve tried is fall-apart tender and the sides are amazing too.
Best BBQ in Austin, hands down! Everything on the menu is excellent, you cannot go wrong here!
Get it now before there is a daily hour wait! It's is one of those places where you wake up the next day thinking about getting more. This is now my first recommendation for Austin BBQ.

Great people and delicious food! Entres, sides and desserts are all fabulous.
A different take on BBQ well worth checking out. Can't wait for the brewery to open.
Fantastic smoked beef rib!
Love the meats, love the sides. Great folks, sweet southside location.
This BBQ spot has been on my list for a long time now. Many of my foodie friends recommended trying their smoked burger. One of the best burgers I’ve had in Austin and easily in my top 5! Can’t believe I waited this long.
This burger contains a smoked brisket patty with cheese, grilled onions onions, pickles, and burger sauce on a toasted potato bun.
The burger patty is made from brisket trimmings and it’s smoked to perfection.
Also, tried their delicious cheddar cheesecake. This is made with Ritz crust and topped with apple butter and cheddar crisp.
I will be back very soon to try the beef cheeks, bacon ribs, and brisket

Unbelievable food. So good we came back a couple of days later! The line can be long (we waited an hour at midday on Sunday) but it is WELL worth the wait. The beef cheeks & brisket were phenomenal; sides were delicious; and the brisket burger we had on our second visit was fantastic too. Honestly can’t fault this place! Amazing atmosphere in the garden too, with great drinks available from Cosmic.
Fantastic burger. However they do the ground brisket, they do it right. Honestly one of the best burgers I’ve eaten in my life. The guy working in the truck was very sincere and gave great service! Definitely will go back every time I’m in Austin.
Great experience, easy to get to and easy parking. Cool food truck park with a great vibe. Leroy & Lewis is a must try, everything was fantastic and some unique twists on Texas BBQ. Beef Cheeks with the bread is one of the best things I’ve ever had, it’s like all the good parts of a Dino Beef Rib.
Leroy and Lewis Barbecue, stationed outside Cosmic Coffee, is an absolute gem in the world of BBQ. While it's true that the prices may lean towards the higher side, let me assure you, every bite is worth it. This food truck serves up some of the best barbecue I've ever had. The flavors are rich and authentic, a true testament to the artistry of the pitmasters. Whether it's the perfectly smoked brisket or any of their other delectable offerings, you're in for a treat.
Brisket burger (9/10): It was immaculate the first time I had it. This time round it wasn’t as good, but still sublime. Unlike your usual brisket sandwich, they don’t make these by chopping up lousy portions of brisket and throwing them between slices of toast. Each patty gets dedicated attention as if it were tiny little brisket. They even have a cute smoke ring! The brisket in the patty tasted better than their brisket-only entree. It had more flavor, tantalizing my tastebuds with a mildly tangy undertone.
Brisket (7/10): This was a disappointment. After hearing that they used a wagyu/angus hybrid brisket, I was really excited to experience how that wagyu fat tasted when smoked Texas-style. It didn’t really taste spectacularly different. The seasoning lacked salt. Tenderness was good. But at $40 per pound, this is the most expensive brisket I’ve ever had. And unfortunately, not the best.

Wow. The line to order was worth the wait. The meat was out of this world. The sides were delicious and the cheesecake is not to be missed! It easy to see why this is a top ten bbq joint in Austin!
After seeing this place on Netflix I really wanted to go check this place out. My father and I were visiting Austin during the Formula 1 weekend and I completely underestimated how busy this place would be. I arrived here at around 8 PM on a Sunday thinking we would have plenty of time before they closed at 9 PM. Once I stood in line I realized that getting dinner could be an issue. There were over 30 people in line ahead of me only 2 people working in the truck. I finally got to the front of the line 5 minutes after closing at 9:05 pm and the two gentlemen at the window greeted me as if I was the first customer of the day!!!! Although they were out of many options for the day I was able to make a meal out of what was left and OMG this food was amazing!!!! I can only imagine what the other options on the menu would be like. This is 100% the place to go for authentic Texmex style food. And you can’t beat the service and kind staff. I can’t wait to go back to be the first in line instead of the last because it’s hard for me to imagine the food being any better than this. If this was one of their toughest or worst nights I want to be there for their best!
Great barbecue with vegan options, as well! Located in the cosmic coffee, beer garden with a few other food trucks nearby.
I had the beef cheeks, pork, sausage, kale, Caesar salad, and corn bread with green tomato butter. Each one was delicious. They also do a great job making it look very presentational as well. Nice guys, serving great food with great service.
Tried this spot based on a friends recommendation and it did not disappoint. Tried the pulled hog and chopped brisket both were delicious. The bbq sauce was also very good and complimented the meats well. For sides we tried the kale Caesar slaw (delicious), kimchi, frito pie and beans as well as the pickles. Housemade pickles were the star I could eat a whole jar of them! As for the other sides I found them a bit on the salty side but we’re still very good overall.
Food was fantastic. Didn't get in line until 10:52 and got the second to last bacon rib, so the wait is still relatively reasonable.
Wow this was great BBQ. I've been to 40 of Top 50 Texas Monthly Barbecues in the state. Well deserving of its #5 spot. Got there at 1030 for the 1100 opening and was #3 in the queue. I had the beef cheeks, brisket, refried beans and kale slaw. Got a sample of their sausage. Very good spot! It's a food truck lot with picnic benches to sit at and drinks available from the Cosmic restaurant. Will be back.
One of the greatest BBQ place in Austin! Lines are long so expect the wait. No other food trucks have the lines like this nearby. You might want to arrive early or some of the popular items will be gone already.
Bacon Rib stole the show but after a weekend of crawling different BBQ places this was the best top to bottom. Bacon Rib, beef cheek, brisket, sausage, slaw, cabbage, Frito pie, cheddar cheesecake were all solid…. Oh, and don’t sleep on the burger.
Ok at best, there is better BBQ elsewhere in Austin, but you'll be happy here if it's where you decide to go. Been here both during the week and on Sat.
Weekday-not busy, get yourself some beef cheeks, very tasty. Sides are meh, I recommend sticking to the bbq.
Weekend-you'll stand in line a couple hrs and will be subject to what's left once you get to the front. Had the brisket, it was ok, had better at other BBQ joints in Austin. Tried the porchetta, was way over seasoned and tooooo dry, too bad because I had my hopes up for a good porchetta, but I suppose that's the chance you take with a place that doesn't specialize in it.
Seriously though, there isn't much going on at the Cosmic patio while you wait in line, so bring some friends or something to keep you company for a couple hrs wait on Saturdays.
My #1 Austin BBQ experience. Got here 45 min before opening on Sat. No one in the line. 15 min before opening, one person got in line and before you know it 30 people are in line! Advice is get here 30 min early and chill at the tables next to the truck. Owner even talked to everyone in line, super friendly folks! Beware, once the line gets long it can take an hour or more.
Food was absolutely AMAZING. Favorite was the L&L brisket burger. Super unique and amazing taste. Brisket a la carte was also 10/10, great bark and flavor. Beef cheeks was 9/10 for me, tender and flavorful. Bacon rib (only on Sat) was HUGE but delicious. Honestly you need 4+ people for this one. It's likely eating 15 slices of bacon. Totally worth if you have a group but too much for 2 people.
Overall amazing experience with a short wait (40min in line for us) if you plan ahead. Highly recommend this place!
Loved this spot. Truly hits the spot
10.47 arrived and lined up. Coffee in hand from Cosmic. Got food just before 12. The Brisket is only served on the weekends, and it was the standout. Barbacoa and Beef Cheeks were awesome. The Burger is unlike any burger you’ve tried, smoking brings it to a whole new level. We tried each of the sides and they are well thought out and tasty.
Cheddar cheesecake was a fun way to end a huge meal.
The meat sweats are real! Definitely a must try if you’re in town
We got there super late on a Saturday afternoon. Almost all choices were gone. My barbacado was meh, the meat was not great so I just pecked two tiny bites... The loaded pork hash was really good and filling. Honestly I would have eaten just that and be happy. Hopefully I will be back at an earlier time to try the beef cheeks and the brisket.
