Too pricy. Food was so so. Cant post review unless give a 5 star .. was giving a 3. Rigged to post good reviews
Love the new b&m. Pizza was amazing as expected and the House Porchetta sandwich...yes please!
We'll be back Sunday for more!
Great pizza and great service, in an excellent location!
The pizza is amazing and quite impressively fired in a brick oven that is built into a damn food trailer. Ingredients were super fresh and you can tell every detail of the meal is carefully considered without being overly fussy. Very friendly staff and great service. A perfect date night!
Had it again for the 2nd time. 1st time was when they returned. It's been awesome since the beginning and it's nice to see Clint return to his roots.
Fantastic pizza! Highly recommend having dinner while the weather is cool. Byob! Great wine and beer selection right next door.
Ok, 40 North has been in my neighborhood for a few months. The pictures are awesome.
Having been to Italy several times and given these pictures, my expectations were really high. So high as to make me hesitate for months.
Well, what a stupid decision on my part to wait.
This is the most authentic pizza I have ever had anywhere in the U.S.
Everything about this pizza is spot on perfect. You cannot do better.
Best pizza I've had in years. Vegetarians try the roasted eggplant you won't be disappointed. Already craving more, can't wait for my next trip to Austin!
...bring on Baffetto! ...great, I'll b back. I had a margherita, crispy.
You don't need to eat pizza anywhere else in Austin!
Excellent Neapolitan pizza. New kid on the block.
First time here and it's fairly authentic Neapolitan type pizza. I went with a traditional margarita and was not disappointed.
Across is nice and thin crispy with the perfect amount of char. The sauce had a great flavor and the spices were perfect. I will definitely be back.
Phenomenal, friendly service and really yummy food. Salads are big enough to share with someone if you're also sharing a pizza. Order anything more than that and you might have leftovers if your party eats a normal amount of food. We made that mistake by ordering the potatoes, which were so good, but we had to overstuff ourselves so we ended up eating way too much. Pizza was really good! Super hot so let it cool before biting into it. We got the pepperoni one and it had the right amount of spice to give that spicy heat without taking away from the flavor.

*Excellent* pizza. And vibes.
The pizza is neapolitan, and is really really good (excellent crust, good ingredients, etc.). The staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere is very chill.
You can sit outside and watch the people/traffic, or inside in the cheerful environs.
Either way, you'll be happy!
We've been meaning to try this place for a long time and we finally did - what a treat. My wife and I split the Bibb Salad and the Black Garlic Pizza. The salad was light, delicate and delicious - all ingredients super fresh and the dressing was light and not at all overwhelming. Very balanced dish. The Black Garlic pizza was something we probably would not ordinarily order and that's why we did - and it was sublime. The flavor combinations were unique and delicious and the wood fired (slightly charred) crust was very reminiscent of Neapolitan pies I have had in Italy. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the inside of the restaurant is inviting and slightly whimsical. We will be back!
One of Austin’s best burgers, hands down. The hot honey pizza was also extraordinary. Happy hour can get you a $7 Margherita pizza or Fried Chicken Sandwich, and as for drinks they’ve got $2 Coors Banquet, $2 off beer cans and wine glasses, and half off bubbles. Cute space and a relaxed vibe.
Quaint pizza spot making some excellent wood fired pizza with top notch customer service. The pizzas are made with love, the dough was cooked to perfection, the ingredients were fresh and tasty. If you’re hankering for a good pie, look no further.
Super delicious and great service. Came for brunch and had the brunch pizza, in addition to the marinara pizza, the cauliflower and the grits. Cauliflower and grits were amazing. Pizzas are really great, too, crispy (but not hard!) crust. Would def recommend to come here. Would love if they had more brunch type drinks during brunch.
40 North has been on my list of must-visit pizza joints in Austin for a bit now and I’m glad I finally went. Why did I wait so long?!? The dough is excellent! I got the Margherita di Bufalina which was a great choice. The pies here are a little pricey but worth every penny. The salads are enormous mounds of green, just a warning. Thanks 40 North for some delicious pizza!
Neapolitan at its best. Bone marrow addition was lovely. Everything super fresh. Don’t pass up the smashed potatoes. They were fantastic. Wonderful friendly service. Super clean. Look forward to next time.
Haven't had pizza in a good while and came across this restaurant on Yelp, looked good, so I figured I'd come give them a try! I came two times to try different pizzas. First, I tried their limited time 2 Sausage Pizza. This one uses ingredients in partnership with La Barbecue such as their sausages and homemade pickled jalapeños which made the flavor a bit spicy. I also like the char on the crust, tasted smokey - like if I was at a BBQ joint! The second time I came, I wanted an item that's permanently on the menu, so I got the Hot Honey Pizza. The three main flavors you taste here are the ricotta cheese, the coppa (a type of salami), and the Mike's Hot Honey Sauce. The sauce was my favorite - it made the pizza sweet & spicy. Both times I received great service from the staff and had my pizzas both come out in a good amount of time. The pizzas are a little on the pricey side, but that's because they use better quality ingredients. Left satisfied both times and I'll be back!
Super relaxed and cozy atmosphere, with excellent accompanying background music that complements the overall ambiance. The food was amazing, you can really tell the ingredients are made from scratch! I recommend the pepperoni pizza with chilis and I added fennel sausage for a spicy meaty mix. Highly recommended!!!
The food was delish and fresh. Atmosphere is very aesthetic and warm. The building has a lot of windows which is good for pictures because... SUNSHINE! Definitely recommend, but keep in mind a little pricy for the size of pizza you get
It's a nice cute place perfect for a small date, maybe larger parties but you would most likely have to sit outside. Pretty good neapolitan pizza with a light flakey crust we had the margherita and the crispy potatoes as an appetizer they were okay maybe a little too spicy for my taste they were basically swimming in the chili aioli.
A hidden gem in downtown ATX! Authentic wood-fired Neapolitan style pizza that will leave you wanting more. Experienced no wait time, fast and friendly service, and a relaxing ambiance. Will be returning very soon!
The glowing reviews for their gluten free pizza are 1000% TRUE!! By the far the best (and only) GF Neapolitan pizza I’ve ever had. The crust/dough is unlike any other. It’s chewy, fluffy, toasty—not like those sad thin cracker GF crusts. Apparently their GF dough was developed by a local GF chef which is also major props. I have NEVER had a GF pizza crust so scary close to non-GF!! The char from the stone/wood-burning pizza oven is impeccable; you can really taste it. Not too mention their super bright, tangy sauce (tasted like San Marzano?)—just like how I remembered regular Neapolitan pizzas. If you are visiting ATX and in search of GLUTEN FREE NEAPOLITAN PIZZA, I could not recommend this place anymore. The Margherita was life-changing, truly like the one (non-GF) I had in Naples pre-celiac era. I’m devastated I was only able to have it once on this trip. My search for GF Neapolitan pizza in the Bay continues!! Until we meet again, 40 North. <3

Randomly stumbled across this Place. The person working was so nice!! The pizza was decently good. I don’t think about getting pizza in Austin but this was a good surprise.
Amazing place which almost every person would miss unless they knew to specifically look for it. It’s an old house converted to a restaurant.
Parking - few spaces available in the back. There is street parking as well, which they do claim to validate.
Staff is welcoming and friendly.
Seating is cozy and with good number of tables.
Food - Tried the burger which was pretty good. Pizzas didn’t quite look as delicious though. Mostly charred edges which tasted burnt.
Prices are a bit high but food is worth it and one of the best burgers I have had in Austin.
Definitely try once.
Fantastic gluten free pizza crust! High quality ingredients. Tasted like a pizza straight from Italy! H honey and the Barbe pictured below.
Order at the counter at this light, homey spot. Charred Romaine is a specialty salad and very creative and tasty. Pizzas more than delivered fresh, blistery, thin crust with loads of fresh ingredients.
Possibly most importantly in this area, they have parking! A little tough to find off 10th just behind the restaurant.
Friendly staff and vegan options.
