I've never had a better thali... and I mean all of them! I've had both weekend and weekday thalis and the flavors are just phenomenal. I've also had quite a few other things on the menu and they're all delicious. This is definitely my go to place for amazing Indian food. And the prices are great!

Dabeli a bit spicy. But vadapav is good. Dosa and uttapum are good however sambar taste can be improved. Good chaat items. Grocery store right beside so convenient to grab some items after eating.

So glad to find this all vegetarian place. It is a staple for our family to dine-in and take out from Curry in Hurry. We had them cater for Puja at my home and they made some delicious no onion no garlic dishes for us. No need to say that the food was a hit at our puja. I will highly recommend to get events catered with Curry In Hurry.

Curry in Hurry is located inside Gandhi Bazar Indian Stores. Totally love their food and less price. Love their chat items , meals , sweets and other preparations. For a very less price they give very good meals . Chat items are very good . So if you plan for a grocery shopping at Gandhi Bazar , you can have your chat and shop too 😁😁😁

Nice chat shop/thali restaurant located in Research blvd. Its located within the Gandhi bazaar store next to Lakeline mall. They serve thali in afternoon and both chat& thali in evening. They are freshly prepared. Compared chat items in other stores, chat i. Chai and coffee are disappointment as its mentioned as filter coffee in menu but instant coffee was served so reduced a star. Evening are crowded and expect a wait time for orders. If you looking only got chat items then its a recommended place. #HappyDining

Curry in Hurry catered breakfast and chai during our wedding weekend and everything was very tasty! I tried the bataka poha, khaman dhokla, upma and fafda chutney and was happy with all of the items. Their prices are fair and their food is delicious!

The food is fresh and delecious. I was in Austin for an Indian wedding and Curry In Hurry were the caterers. Live counters were setup for chaat, pavbhaji and deserts at the wedding which was a huge hit. After the wedding I visited there restaurant to get some more of the delecious chaat items. I will highly recommend Papdi Chaat, Pav Bhaji, Dahi Puri and Vada Pav. Definitely coming back on my next trip to Austin.

Probably the only Indian food joint in Austin that offers consistency in food quality. The portions have gone down a bit over the years, but nevertheless tasty enough. Rotis and Chapatis are usually soft and well cooked. Chaats are not that great as it used to be an year ago, but the curries are never too spicy. We have learnt to avoid Puri-s which have become mini chole bhaturas (made with more maida instead of wheat/Atta). For North Indian varieties we almost get what we expect, so makes us want to come here once in 3-4 months.

Got a takeout of papdi chaat, samosa Chaat, masala Dosa and pani puri. Overall, authentic and delicious, except pani puri shells are prob not made in house fresh but from those ready to eat from grocery stores. Samosa Chaat was delicious but very spicy for us (we are Chinese Canadians without spicy food tolerance) the papdi chaat was perfect tho. Dosa was good too. We want to try thali here next time.

Food :4.5/5 Ordered special thali. Samosa, 3 rotis, rice, paneer masala, dal(lentils), black chana, eggplant with potatoes and rasgulla as a sweet. Tasted well. Seasoning proper and quantity good enough even you’re too much hungry.
