Started going here since their relocation. I've never had pizza this good before. Their value is right for anyone with $7-$20. Try anything on the menu and I'm certain you'll be in the mood to return.
Great value, fast service, wonderful food. So glad this place is near where I live. I got the chicken Siciliana and my boyfriend got the calzone. We both loved our dinner and will definitely be back.
Okay - tell the world this place is now next to Chevron on Boulder at 620. And, it is awesome! NYC can't make pizza and pasta any better. If you live in Canyon Creek - you've been granted a slice from heaven.
We ate there tonight and it was great! I had the spaghetti with meat sauce and it was very good: simple and tasty! No crazy ingredients just good meaty flavor. I have been disappointed with restaurant spaghetti before but this was very good! My husband had the chicken Alfredo and he enjoyed it. The salad and garlic rolls were good as well and even the drinks were nice. We received quick, qualify service as well. Very polite and friendly server. The decor is simple and tasteful and more relaxed and "classy" than some Italian places. I'd definitely go back!
Good food and delivery. This place has some really good pizza and pasta, and it's really inexpensive! We usually get the Neapolitan pizza (fresh mozz., tomato sauce, fresh basil and lots of freshly chopped garlic)...really good, and a large is only $12! The pasta is also good-I usually get the Penne Vodka or the Tortellini Alla Panna-both have a rich tomato/alfredo sort of sauce and come with a salad and 2 pieces of garlic bread. The people on the phone are always nice and the delivery is always on time. Definitely recommend!
Great Pizza!. You see the words "New York StylePizza" everywhere, but these guys are not kidding. This is the best NY pizza I've found without actually getting on an airplane flying to NYC. I love this pizza, and believe me, I've tried them all. The crust is amazing. The sauce is, too. Do yourself a favor and take home a large pie. They also make a great salad!
Best pizza in Austin. I am admittedly a New York pizza snob and I have been looking for decent pizza since I moved to Austin. My wait is finally over. The crust is great and they have great pasta and chicken parmigiana heroes.
The first time we went to Prima we ordered the The Butcher which is the all meats pizza. We had them add fresh garlic. It was great. The crust was thin, crispy and the perfect amount of chew to it.
Update. Ate "in" this time everything super delicious. They need to get a bigger place...but Worth the trip.
Just tried this little Italian joint that is in a gas station - and they blew us away. My husband and son loved the pizza, my daughter thought the calamari was the best she has ever had, and the House Special Eggplant Rollatini was beyond excellent. The chef/owners were very nice and accommodating. We took everything to go. Would love to eat in - and this is my only complaint - the place was way too cold and could have used some background music. It was just really oddly quiet. The only way this place could be better is if they moved closer to the 183/Lake Creek area! 620 is becoming way overdeveloped for the streets capacity to handle traffic.
I've been going to this place for years now! I LOVE their cheese pizza, but I've also tried other items and all were good. The pizza sauce is just perfect and they know how to not overcook the pie. Do not let the gas station location fool you, it is convenient and the food is LEGIT. I used to live very close, but now I live over 20 minutes away, and it is still worth the drive across town when I'm in the mood for pizza, this is my first choice! The owners are authentic down to earth hard workers just like you and me!
I have been looking for an AUTHENTIC new York pizza place for over a year... and i finally found it!!! You can get a slice just like in New York but in the heart of Texas...
All of the guys from owner down to drivers are all super friendly and all around great!!!
The food is wonderful!!! So far I have tried their standard slice - LOVED IT Then went gourmet the next time with a pesto pizza... all I can say is WOW!!! The pesto was fantastic and fresh!!! Chicken Marsala was heaven!!!
A hidden gem and my go to pizza in Austin. My favorite pizza is the Italian sausage with roasted red peppers and onions. Best anywhere! And the kids love the cheese pizza! For variety try one of the pizza by the slice slices they have for sale. Great pizza at a great price with a great staff and great owners!
I've passed by this place a lot but, until last night have never eaten there, mainly because I'm more of a Mexican food type of guy. However, the ol' lady wanted pizza so I told her about this place. When we arrived I figured it was probably New York style pizza because I had met one the cooks(who turned out to be one of the owners) and he had what seemed to be a strong New York accent. I was pleasantly surprised. The parlor was nice and clean. The service was quick and friendly. And the food was great. We ordered the su'primo pizza because it has a little of everything on it. It was very good for dinner and for breakfast this morning. This is genuine New York style pizza made by chef's with New York accents(don't know why but it always makes me feel better when the cuisine is prepared by the people who created it). I liked it and I will be back again for their lunch special 2 slices AND a drink for $5.95.
Definitely the best pizza I've had in Austin. Really tasty big slices for a reasonable price. If you sit down for one of their entrées, make sure to get the house salad and salad dressing. It's their own creation and it's soooooo good. They deserve all the business they can get.
The best Italian restaurant in a gas station you will ever find.
Great value, flavorful food.
The garlic knots that they serve here should be in every Austin food guide book as a "must eat".
Best Pizza, way better than Austin's pizza and I feel the sauce is a lot yummier than Home Slice. Price won't burn a hole in your pocket either! I do not like the chicken or alfredo sauce, too bland....Pizza is still the best though!
To the owners... it's all about the sauce don't phok it up. :-). Coming from North NJ where you can find a pizzeria or an Italian restaurant in every corner, this place is as close as it gets to the east cost Italian food. My wife and I had shrimp fradiablo and frutii di mare = sea food fruit, the portions are excellent, the sea food was fresh and soft to eat - not over-cooked like most other Italian Wana be restaurants. The restaurant is in an awkward place but ignore that if you want a great lunch for about twelve bucks. Oh, by the way this is the only pizzeria I've found that makes veal parm... sandwiches. Which I also recommend. Enjoy.
The food is amazing. You walk in and it's a little small and right next to a Chevron, but you forget all about everything as soon as your food arrives. The wait staff is very friendly and service was prompt. Prices are fair and the menu provides a lot of choices. We will be repeat customers for sure.
Some of the best pizza in the area! Delicious, fresh toppings, perfectly baked crust, just amazing. And the staff is extremely friendly. This has become our go-to pizza place.
Authentic pizza, New York style. Really good stromboli. Friendly staff and service. Small place, easy to miss or overlook, but is a gem. They have limited delivery timings because of the size.
I have found my favorite spot for lobster ravioli in Austin TX!! I am so full, I could not stop eating it because it was so delicious 😋 great food and awesome delivery!! Will definitely go again and again!!
Amazing food! Everything I have tried has been superb. It's my once a week go to eatery. The staff is super friendly and take time to talk to you and ask what you like or don't like, I have nothing in the don't like column. I tell everyone how amazing the food is. You will love it!
Best Spaghetti and Meatballs! All I have to say when I walk in the door is "Give me the usual" and ¡voila! A plate full of heaven appears. It's so hard to decide not to get the usual because everything is Fantastic. Located next to a convience store, don't pass this place by without giving it a try. Your taste buds will never be able to resist place.
Handmade, different. I like Saccone's and Brooklyn, and these guys are right up there. Nice fellas making quality food. Pizza needs a tiny bit more sauce. Still 5 stars.
My new favorite pizza place in this neck of the woods! Two slices and a drink for $6 or one slice a salad and a drink for $6. Love it!
Calzone takes up half the table. Pizza is fantastic. Best "east coast" pizza in Austin .
