Definitely recommend the Christmas cookie latte and half-moon latte. (Likely to be my new go-to over any other iced coffee)
It was my first time here and I loved it! I had no clue what any of the moon milk stuff meant, but the guy who took my order was super nice and patient because he took the time to explain it to me. I ended up getting an iced 1/4 moon latte with vanilla and it was delicious. I took my coffee to go but it also seemed like a great study spot. I’ll definitely be coming back here!

This is one of the most unique coffee shops I’ve been too. The moon milk is absolutely delicious! I’m obsessed with the espresso milkshake. The chai is by far the best I’ve had in Austin so far. I get an extra scoop of the chai powder. Moon milk is for sale, it’s sweet so if you like sweet cream this is for you.
This Summer Moon is gorgeous. Usually I visit the one further up Burnet by the Domain, but I am obsessed with the wallpaper here and the decor. It’s so quaint and a nice spot to catch up with a friend or do some work.
Roasted local cafe in Austin! Very unique flavor, the most delicious I have tasted so far seriously!!!! there is great variety in their coffee presentations with their own signature!! I love the menu and dairy free options....always have a seasonal flavor!!

I really enjoy all of the Summer Moon Coffee locations. I typically go to the new location in Tech Ridge but I stopped by this one since I was in the area. The staff are efficient and friendly. I received my drink order before I could finish snapping photos! They’ve got some cool latte drinks too.

Summer Moon has great coffee and some fantastic blueberry muffins. Tried the Blue Moon, which adds lavender to the coffee. The location was easy enough to get into and out of. The service was great!
I am updating my previous review for Summer Moon. I grew up near coffee beans in Haiti and when I immigrated to America I soon realized Starbucks and a lot of its competitors had settled for mediocre coffee and heavy sweeteners. I gave up on coffee for years until I was introduced to Summer Moon. I have been in love with their coffee since. Summer Moon's coffee is rich in flavor but soothing in taste. I don't start my day if I don't order my morning coffee from Summer Moon. I adore the staff, they are each individually kind and hardworking. If you have time, start your day with a Moondance.
Omg! Good thing I finally tried their moon coffee because I would be missing out. There seems to be a lot of locations but we chose this one because they have cute store design.
We got the iced matcha moon milk and iced blue moon milk (lavender). Both were so good but I liked lavender a bit more. Apparently 20oz comes with either 3 or 4 shot espresso shots. But I just went with 1 1/2 and I like how they asked how much I want.
They only use soy, almond, coconut and oat milk which was a plus for me because I can't drink whole milk. The coffee really tasted more like bubble tea but not entirely sweet, I enjoyed the smooth texture.
Obviously with COVID-19, they were set for social distancing. Limited capacity 50%. Friendly staffs and clean restrooms.

Tried their Nitro steamer and chia latte both the drinks were amazing. Brought home moon milk and velvet blaze coffee beans. And now my husband is a fan of moon milk. Must try. Moon milk is their signature sweet cream.
Stopped in here quickly and it was a great little spot on a Saturday afternoon. A few tables/chairs in the front beneath a shady tree. Good coffee. Delightfully friendly service. Really lovely people.
A tad pricey, but very good 👍 The winter moon latte is delicious! The service is always fast and friendly, it's not a very big place but the atmosphere is always super chill, and there's nice outdoor seating for when its not so hot outside.

This is a beautiful little place to sit inside and drink your coffee with some friends. Unfortunately for me, Summer Moon doesn't accept cash; fortunately for customers, ordering is expedited due to the cashless policy. I ordered the 16oz Nitro Black, a 20oz Winter Moon latte blended, and a moon milk. The cold brew wasn't the best, I didn't really get the Nitro feel I usually get from a nitro cold brew. The coffee did taste good though. I think I'll get a regular hot cup next time.
I enjoyed the Winter Moon latte blended. The ice was blended in little uniform pieces. I could satisfy my rock craving without having to break a tooth chewing on the ice with each sip. I didn't have any issues drinking from a clogged straw. I could taste the coffee, but it wasn't overpowered by sweetness. I think there was moon milk in this drink. I could feel the fat from the milk on my tongue; not unpleasant. It reminded me of drinking farm fresh Jersey cow milk.
(Off topic: Try Triple S Family Farm in Gholson/Waco, TX. Best fresh milk I could find in centex. Though it's $8.00 a gallon. Cash or apple pay only)
Moon milk: Oh, moon milk. If that dictator, Fidel Castro were alive today, I feel he'd have gallons of this stuff on standby. I didn't ask but this stuff is rich and not meant to be drunk on it's own. Once again, I had that farm fresh aftertaste. It was sweet and creamy. I felt like there was some seasoning in there, but I can't be sure. It definitely goes well with an espresso. The 1/4 moon latte is my next choice add on to my order.
I didn't try any food here, I'm not a fan of coffee shop food, but I'll give this place a chance and would encourage anyone to do the same.
The Atmosphere inside is bustling for a coffee shop, it's obviously not a library and not a place to read or write if you're easily distracted. The bathrooms are clean, the sinks are push start and auto shut off. I love how there's plenty of time to soap up and rinse your hands before the sink shuts off. There's guest WiFi so if you'd like to save some data, there you go. The deco is clean and homey feeling. The AC definitely works especially for those cold blooded folk.
Tl;dr
Coffee good. Moonmilk sweet. Summer moon great. Next visit I'll eat.
I’m giving a 4 star because 80 percent of the times Summer Moon Coffee makes one of my favorite in town but you should teach all of ur baristas that you don’t pour the espresso over the steam milk. If this was the first time buying a latte here I would have given a 1 star
I have been a regular here for years, the baristas even know my name! I get both black coffee and mocha lattes along with their delicious creamy potato and refried black bean taco deli tacos. Their bakery donuts are delicious and high quality. Most coffee houses claim “artisanal wood roasted coffee” but this is one of the only places in austin i find that has been able to live up to this title. 100% recommend this place.
Coffee was good. There are alot of outdoor sitting. The indoor sitting were packed. It was too cold for us to sit outside. The fire place was not on that day.
