I have been coming to this location for over 20 years and it's been a while but the folks are cool and the food is good. Come check them out.
So far so good. We asked the place across for breakfast tacos and they only plates. No tacos!?? We will go across the street. So we did and Aguilera’s said yes we have breakfast tacos. So now we are waiting in a pleasant waiting area. It’s definitely a good authentic restaurant considering the most of the customers are Latino. That’s how you know any restaurant is good or not. If their own race is a fan. It’s good.
I went here in a spur of a moment before a late class. The restaurant looks plain and doesn't really draw me in, but glad I did. The menu is simple and the service was great. The food was delicious, I had chicken mole which was served hot. The presentation was plain and reminded me of the way my mother and grandmother and godmother served. I truly recommend this place for good food that will bring memories of home where food was to nourish and bring family together.
Thank you it was very delicious we really want to come back and eat there againeverybody was so thankful and polite and and we really appreciate that so y'all have a very very blessed day
The migas is on point. Huge portion of eggs, not the usual half-plate of beans with less eggs, and the potatoes were darn near life changing. Got a coupla breakfast tacos to go and they ain’t skimpy on the cheese. 👏👏👏 Friendly and efficient service as well!
This place is SEVERELY underrated. The food is SO delicious and appropriately priced. The salsas are ALL spicy and delicious. Absolutely everything is homemade, including the tortillas. This place needs more ratings. ALTHOUGH, I kind of like that it’s a hidden gem. Don’t just take my word for it though, check it out for yourself!
very cheap, tasty, and filling mexican style breakfasts.
had the machacado con huevo plate (shredded dried beef and egg scramble). delicious with onions and peppers.
cames with a nice portion of potatoes and refried beans. 3 flour tortillas under
$8
I love coming here for lunch for the delicious beef enchiladas plate $5.99. It's small and homely looking but definitely a hidden gem.
And the best chips and salsa!
My search for best Tacos in the area has come to an end this place has the Best Tacos with Homade Tortilla very well priced too. Almost afraid to review because it's such a hidden gem. Slightly hidden but worth the search.
Came to see the famous “Underrated Aguileras Restaurant”
The table sauce has a original tangy flavor that I’ve never tasted before.
I ordered Green Chilaquiles and they come with two eggs, beans and fried chunk potatoes. Everything in that plate had a good quality taste despite the Restaurant’s appearance. I liked it. However, my boyfriend order “Gorditas” and they are much Tostadas than Gorditas.
Customer Service is friendly and cordial, attentive also.
Thank you.
These folks kill it on their al pastor tacos and chicken mole. It's low key and cheap. Don't expect stellar service (although it's always been good for me the past 3 years), but you can walk out full from lunch with a drink for less than $5.
Love this place. Very good menudo and enchiladas and tacos. Waitress is very respectful and always if u need anything. So overall this place is awesome
Always great food, good customer service, and low costs. As far as quality...take it from a former San Antonion - this is great Mexican food!
