My family and I was visiting from Louisiana. We do have Golden Corral, and we expected the normal. Walking in we immediately realized that this one was better. Customer Service was amazing, Food was wonderful. If I'm ever visiting Austin again, I will most definitely go to that one again.

I always loved taken my wife there. Great staff and great food.
I think they have stopped focusing on quality and just focus on quantity. Yes, they have plenty of food but you have to sift through what tastes good and what doesn't. What is over cooked and what is under cooked.
Golden Corral Buffet & Grill offers a well-designed and logical layout, making for a comfortable dining setting. Although the sofa seating was a bit cramped for a party of four, it was manageable.
The standout feature is the central meat section, which is freshly cut and grilled on the spot. However, if left out too long, the meat can become dry, so it’s a bit of a gamble. The steak is generally good, but the quality can fluctuate based on its freshness and how well it’s cooked.
Dessert options are abundant and cover most of what you’d expect, but many items are canned or vegetarian. Particularly, the long vegetable salad bar seems to be mostly ignored by patrons.
The soup was decent, and the desserts were rich in variety. The shrimp and sweet tofu were also quite tasty, which were some of my favorites. The corn seemed to be popular among the diners as well.
Overall, I’d give this restaurant a 75 out of 100. Despite some minor issues, it offers a generally good dining experience.
Food is very good! I really like the ribs. I was surprised the services separated their cleaning job and serving job. We have young kids, so I decided to bring the dishes to the table next to us which there was someone doing cleaning. The server told me to bring the dirty dishes back.
The food was pretty good. The service I didn't like how they brought us a Pepsi. And they made us pay for Pepsi after we said we wanted water. But beyond that, I like their app their points system. How you can get a free buffet once in a while? Even if it's not your birthday and it's pretty economic.
Busy, clean, well organized, and many kinds of food. We l went on Thanksgiving. It was insanely busy. The influx was managed incredibly well. I would have given 5 stars. However, there was repeating turkey, stuffing, and green beans 3 out more times, and for me, it was not the best tasting turkey. I do think that's just me and not the restaurant's part.
They truly went leaps to make it a great experience for everyone.
Family & I didn't want to cook Thanksgiving,so we tried out Golden Corral. Not bad for the price since it was Thanksgiving & all you can eat & drink. GC was packed with people but the line moved fast. The team was very organized begin so busy!! The service was good. The food was amazing to be Thanksgiving feast. Thank you Golden Corral for All the Hard Dedicated work!!
It's a buffet! Most of the food is decent and tasty. A bit of a chore to get to plenty of parking. I've been a few times. 20 bucks a pop isn't bad for all you can scarf down.
It has been awhile and i have to say they have stepped up their game. I went here for lunch and was surprised at how good the food was. Everything tasted fresh. The poor today was probably my favorite and the bread and rolls made a great meal. I tried a lot of items and only took what i could eat. Avoiding food waste. It was busy but they kept the food coming. Will be adding to my routine more often now.
It was very good but the customer service can be improved a little bit more better when your pie asks for a slice of ribs they look like their arm is going to fall off they need to be trained little bit more better
The person at the register did not know what she was doing. It was clear that she was an unsupervised trainee. The wait staff was great. They deserve a 5 and I would ha e given the 5 except for the person at the register.
This golden corral did nothing but impress the food, the atmosphere the customer service my waiter was a little slow, but I’m gonna say he was just busy overall amazing. If I lived in Austin definitely would’ve been my go to place. But sadly, I’m just here visiting.
The food options for adults and kids were great. My food was juicy and the kids plate was excellent. However, their desserts weren’t so great. The two cakes were too dry and the pudding too sweet.
Large place with many options. We are here for breakfast. Absolutely delicious. They also have lunch food out. The dessert section is very large. Will visit again.

The servers are always so friendly. There is a multitude of options to pick from as well as tables that can accommodate the largest of families. Overall, it's a great place.
