The falafel was the tastiest part. I enjoyed everything in the bowl especially the hummus. I wasnt able to eat all of it but happy I went. Never had Mediterranean food but it was a success in my book.
Great "chipotle style" Mediterranean food! They have an incredible selection of toppings to add to your custom bowl / pita including red cabbage slaw, pickled jalapenos and eggplant dip. On top of all that, they've got eight sauces to finish off your creation. I was impressed and will be back soon for more tasty falafel.
I stopped in a little after 9 pm because I wanted some falafel. I got a falafel rice bowl with spring mix and tzatziki sauce. The falafel was a bit crunchy on the outside, but very flavorful, and the rice was delicious. The seasoned fries are very good as well. The people working were very nice and quick!
First time there and wow it was wonderful. The food, the decor, the staff that served us, all amazing. Would definitely recommend!
I wish I had taken a picture of my bowl. I ordered the falafel one and it was scrumptious! Very satisfying and fresh. The falafel itself was deliciously moist and tasty, with enough flavor but not overwhelming. The hummus was very good too, and I'm a hummus snob. I'm definitely going there again soon.
First time here with no idea what a Kebap was. Lots of options with a "build what you want" model like Subway or Freebirds. For my first time I went with the Original mix using the beef/lamb base. It was wonderful. Fresh veggies, flavorful and warm meat, spicy sauces, great grilled bread. Highly recommended and I'll definitely be back.
Everything is fresh and the vegan power bowl is so so delicious! My body felt great after eating it, too! A nice go-to spot for sure. Service was great so that was a plus. :)
This was my first Verts visit after the re-branding and menu change. I know, I'm a little behind!
The food was good quality and I liked the different filling options. I need to go back and examine the menu more closely because I was a bit confused without a sticker explaining the sauces (admittedly, I didn't really look at the menu above). A line formed behind me and I felt pressured to go forward. I will have to return to more closely examine and try some of the new options.
First time at a Very. We were craving something healthier and were nearby so we stopped and looked at the menu. It looked good. We both had a salad bowl with falafel and lots of salads. It's a nice variety to choose from and very tasty. The place was clean except for the bathroom. It could use some to.
I went to Verts last night for the second time with my 12 month old son and a couple of girl friends. I have to say that the Chicken Kebap is my absolute favorite. I am not a big fan of lamb, but do have to admit it smells delicious. I love the Garlic Sauce on my Kebap. The veggies are always fresh. And the staff makes it even better. I want to add that Rebecca, is a doll. She is super sweet, not only providing great customer service but super friendly, she had my little one smiling. I would totally recommend VERTS to anyone. Thanks’
I really didn't know what to expect, but after my meal...WOW. The chicken kebaps were very tender and flavorful plus being backed with fresh veggies. I tried the garlic/spicy red combination sauce with the kebap which made it just the right amount of spiciness. There is an outdoor patio area as well. Service was quick and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommend this place for lunch or as an alternative if the Hopdoddy's line is too long.
I highly recommend that anyone who hasn't tried this place to give it a shot. It's a great place to get a quick meal, that can be ordered to be full of whole grains and vegetables, and still super tasty and filling, and not leave you feeling sluggish afterwards. I love the quinoa bowls, with meat, and stacked with their toppings (they have a ton).
This might be my new favorite lunch destination. I've taken so many of my friends and coworkers here because I know it will always satisfy. When you don't want to deal with the crazy waiting lines next door at hopdoddy this is a great alternative, if not primary choice (we do go next door for a shake after though). I love their beef/lamb mix with a combination of spicy and garlic sauce. After talking with the owner and understanding his passion for what he does and how he's brought it to Austin, I really hope they do well.
Great quinoa bowls, perfectly fluffy falafels, crispy fries, tasty sauces. Really enjoyed the outside seating with my toddler. A lot of people don't like that it's not Vert's anymore, I get it. I loved Vert's. But it's still got great offerings! I really enjoyed it!
The food is actually pretty tasty, but the fun ends there. There was not a single clean table to eat at. Three employees and myself were the only ones there, but none of them took the hint to clean a single table when the saw me wiping one down. Just sat there looking at their phones. There were flies buzzing all around me as I ate inside. Maybe cause of the dirty tables? It's gross don't eat there.
Edit: I gave them another chance, and the restaurant was clean and the food was good.
