Chicken was outstanding, and I love the salsa verde. My son got the quesadillas, and the order was huge.

This location is consistent. I no longer go to any other locations because I fear the chicken being greasy and the beans having a funky taste. This location reminds me of how good it was when I was a kid going after church

Pollo Rico is so good it’s embarrassing for every other chicken place in Austin. This is the best chicken in town, easy. Get in line, folks. Order a whole chicken. Get a side of plantains. Use the green salsa. Buckle up.

Visted a while back. The baked potato was delicious with a generous portion of meat. The pineapple drink was sweet and paired well with the meal. We also had a bowl with meat, rice, and veggies. Quick and friendly service! Would definitely recommend for a quick lunch spot.

Never disappointed at El Pollo Rico. I’m not sure Whi-people haven’t discovered this place and gentrified it. I’m glad they haven’t. I love it exactly like it is! Great food. Nice people.

First time here but my co-workers have raved about it, and I thought the food was really good. I had tostadas and really liked the chicken and pasture. Ask for complimentary chips and enjoy choice of salsa from little salsa bar. Definitely recommend getting lime from there to squeeze on the food. There is a walk-up counter to order and it's fast.

Stop what you're doing and come get their burritos! That thing is HUGE. It comes packed with your choice of meat (I did Al Pastor, AKA spiced pork), refried beans, rice, lettuce, pico, sour cream, and guacamole!!! The best part?? It only costs $7.69! Insane. Way better than Chipotle or any other place in town, especially since this place offers authentic Mexican styles of cooking which makes this burrito way more delicious than the rest. Plus... Guac at no extra cost? Yes please. With that said, this place gets a solid 5/5 in my book! They get the job done. No funny stuff. Check them out!! If you dine-in, don't have high expectations regarding the interior as it looks like a "hole in the wall".
