I always wondered if the food here was any good. That is until I finally was able to catch them before shutting down for the day. Great food and the owner op is also great. Very sweet lady.
Solid burger diner fare. Unimpeachable flavor! They need more open space in the venue but they got a mad-legit thing going here!
I ordered 20 breakfast burritos for my 6th grade class & they loved it. Not one burrito left!! Thank yall so much!
Breakfast tacos are awesome!! My son and I drive over from Pflugerville, just to get these awesome breakfast tacos from Liz's Grill. We always get sausage, bacon, egg and cheese tacos and they are always made fresh. They have a very friendly and helpful staff here.
Liz's grill is excellent! Located in The General Store, a place I've frequented since childhood, Liz's grill has offered the best food since 2007. The breakfast tacos and sandwiches are fantastic. The lunch menu is even better. From burgers, enchiladas, and frito pie, everything is a good choice.
My review is absolutely a biased one. Liz's grill has become a part of my childhood. When I hear people talk about places they love to eat at growing up, I always think of Liz's.
Breakfast tacos here are amazing, always cooked fresh on the spot for you. They recently expanded their hours and menu, as well. All the staff are wonderful. I love that eating here is supporting a small, family-owned business. Bonus points for being able to pick up supplies and goodies in the corner store it's located within!
The crispy tacos were a little basic for $12.99, but the rice and beans were phenomenal.
Lively atmosphere and friendly people. It's in a convenience store (something I didn't know before arriving), so there is no seating inside, but there is an added bonus to that--the drink and side/snack/dessert selection is ENORMOUS.
Upon the recommendation of the guy at the register, I got the cheeseburger and was not disappointed. They definitely have the fundamentals of burger-making down. No frills but quality ingredients, and they have that old-timey, greasy spoon burger flavor. If you've ever been to Dirty's on Guadalupe or Nau's on Enfield you'll know that I mean. They did almost give my order to someone else while I was in the bathroom, but I presume it was because they had my name as Carly--it was too loud in there for the guy to hear what I was saying. Other than that, the Xlerator hand dryer in the bathroom has a lighting enhancement (I found that pretty cool), and apparently at certain times there are a couple cats that hang around the side of the restaurant (pictures for both of those things attached). Overall, interesting experience and I will probably be back soon!
I believe the general store open Sundays though Liz's Grill inside store is closed
Inside a mom & pop grocery store. Small grill, limited grilled breakfast & lunch items. Nothing fancy! Construction workers love this place (that should tell you something). Hours are morning until mid afternoon. Buy your drink & chips from the store. Called Liz's Grill, yet never seen a woman behind the counter? For such a small place, they do good business. Seating areas outside on the side deck or under the trees. Worth checking out for yourself. I like the beef breakfast tacos or the Frito pie (depending on the time I am there).
I had the green chicken enchiladas. Everything was awesome. The beans and rice had great flavor. Definitely better than the local chain restaurants. Unfortunately you do have to buy a separate drink from the gas station with a $3 minimum purchase on credit card. My buddy had the baked chicken special, very juicy and flavorful. His beans had bacon and cilantro. Definitely coming back! Great food, good cost, and nice people (Assuming Liz was the cook) she came over to make sure we liked our food.
Excellent burger and crispy taco!
Great little kitchen that makes crunchy tacos, bacon cheeseburgers, breakfast tacos, and my personal favorite enchiladas. Everything is made fresh, and it's quality food. I often buy three meals at a time so that I have delicious TV dinners waiting. They are also expanding their menu and operational hours, so stay tuned!

Just saw this place on Google reviews. It was 3.4 miles away, great rating...read some reviews. And it's true! Cool little place, and Liz and her 2 sons were a refreshing change to the same old, same old.
I was going to get their famous Kitchen SinkTaco, but I got the Frito Pie instead for breakfast!! Huge pie, and not traditional chili used...its picadillo without the papas that they use! They have transformed one of my favorite foods and made it even better!! Gracias Dios for this! It's like a 1/3 pound of nicely seasoned ground beef...with onions, jalapenos, cheese...the good stuff. I highly recommend this place!!
Great convenience store with a grill inside. Bacon cheeseburgers, enchilada plates, pitas, breakfast tacos, and daily specials make this grill a great place to stop for lunch or breakfast. They also take call in orders, and it is family ran by native locals.
They close at 2pm, and are open on Sundays.
Been to Liz's a few times and I'm never disappointed. Good price and great food, and Liz is super cool! Not the best seating area if you're not taking the food to go but otherwise no complaints. Highly recommend giving it a try!
The breakfast toaster (sausage egg and cheese) is the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. The Texas toast is buttered and golden to perfection. The cheese stays melted and is literally heaven in your mouth. Liz and hrr husband are the nicest people, you will meet!! Highly recommend!!
Hidden gem! Not only do they have great prices, but the food is delicious! Worth the price. The man who was working that day was very nice. They also have the option to call in your order, which is helpful!
