I came back from my trip to PR missing the hell out of Puerto Rican food, and imagine my joy when I found the best place in Austin for it just down the street from me. The carne frita here is fried perfectly, the chicharron de pollo has the perfect amount of garlic (hint: lots), and the arroz con gandules and tostones are on point. Everything here is tasty and possibly even better than some of the originals I had in PR. The owner, Jose, is hilarious and awesome. Have him put on some salsa music while you feast on his mofongos and lechon asado.

Oh my god. Every single thing this man makes is absolutely DELICIOUS. Like finger licking, amazing, food. It is true authentic Puerto Rican food which is food bursting with flavor. Different from literally everything else in Austin. It's the best and most underrated food truck in Texas. HIGHLY recommend. Also, the owner and cook is the nicest guy you will meet. His food is so good because he put so much love in it and is so passionate about it. Don't miss out y'all!

When we went there the owner was so welcoming. His family from Florida showed up. We all sat together shared food, laughed and hung out. The chicken, rice, and pork with the garlic sauce was amazing!

Absolutely love this food truck! I'm so happy they changed locations too because now they're even closer! Easily the best Puerto Rican food in town, so you have to go and try it!! The chicharron de pollo is my absolute favorite too!

My girlfriend brought me to this food truck for lunch and it was a terrific idea. My GF had Arroz con habichuela y alcapuria con tostones. I had the Arroz con habichuela, platano maduro y trosito de pollo frito. We had Coco Rico and Cola Champagne to drink. I enjoyed a Y una empanada de pizza. It was Puerto Rican food to it's homemade best. FIVE STARS!!
