The BEST pizza you will EVER have. We have been visiting circle pizza for over 20 years. We visit every summer when we are vacationing in Avalon, NJ. We wish having their pizza wasn’t just limited to our summer vacations. Also, their cheesesteak eggrolls with the spicy ketchup is 10/10. We look forward to this pizza EVERY year!!! we love circle so much!! 🍕

A must stop when visiting Cape May County. Circle Pizza offers a thin crust pie that is tasty. Normally would give it five star, but giving it 4 for the following reasons. While I realize this place is in Avalon, for a 16 inch pie, the price of $21.95 is a bit pricey. While on vacation? I don't mind digging deep, but I would not pay these prices on a regular basis. Also, a sign is posted on menu board that prices are subject to change without notice. While the posted price was $21.95, a large pie was $22.89. The garlic bread that was $6.99 was $7.99 and a small 2 ounce sauce cup w as $1.15. While I understand the need to increase prices, take the time to change the menus.
When I ordered my pie over the phone for pickup, when we arrived, I decided to eat it there being there was nobody sitting in dinning area. I arrived early and requested the pizza be served on a tray being we were going to eat in. After waiting a while, I looked at the to go boxes and noticed the pizza was sitting in a pizza coffin (pizza box). Not sure how long it was sitting , but as we all know, a pie fresh from the oven is much different than one that changes in a box. Yes, I know I ordered takeout and changed my mind, but how hard is it to put it on a tray.
All in all, I will it was a great pizza and I'm sure I'll always stop in. I've never had anything but the pizza so I can't really comment.
After our usual go-to pizza place closed down, we tried circle pizza and we were very impressed with the pizza takeout. We are a picky family when it comes to pizza so the bar was high. If you are after a pizza night, then look no further! The sausage pizza was particularly good. They also do a decent gluten free pie as we have someone in our family who has a gluten sensitivity.
Great pizza and burgers. I’ve been eating here my whole life, never had a bad meal!

Walked over from Avalon beach & took 10 mins to walk each way. I would recommend this as a quick bite for lunch.
Disappointed though my pies were sitting for 15 minutes after I paid before they realized they were mine. Pizza was room temp by the time I got back to my party.
Also, this place was cash only - which is fine - but have the change in your drawer to be exclusively cash. Ended up telling the woman at the register not to worry about the change & put it in tip jar- but she was told to just keep the nickles in the drawer instead.
A tip is a tip. A tip is not meant to be kept in the drawer for the establishment.
Good burger, excellent amount of cheesy. The service was really nice too. Great experience, and great collection of drinks and chips, would recommend if ever looking for something nice and cheap in Avalon, which is rare 😅
I'm harsh on pizza and this was better than good. We got 2 small pies, well done, cheese and pepperoni. A tiny bit of grease but a great sign of good pizza is that the grease doesn't just run off the pizza like an oily leak. All ingredients of pizza stayed put and the crust had good crisp. Fresh salad, too! To add to the experience, they have a great outdoor dining area that had live music. Ample space for kids to run around and ple ty of outdoor seating. After a number of up and down years, it appears current ownership/management has this figured out. I'm going back for a t shirt!
we ordered food on line and picked it up. food was ready on time and check out was easy. staff was friendly and the food was great !!!

“Circle Pizza is now owned and operated by the Buchanans, decendents of Avalon's original Pizza family headed by patriarch Mario Vozzella. Mario’s two daughters, Eleonora and Camilla, along with their husbands, Paul Buchanan and Joseph Damiri opened Avalon Pizza on 23rd and Ocean Drive in 1968. We have been serving the best pizza in Avalon and Stone Harbor since then, and in Sea Isle since 2000.

Baking great pizza is a family tradition from the days when Grandmom Mary Vozzella (nee Mazza) made her square, finger-pressed pizzas on cookie sheets in her Philadelphia kitchen for her 10 grandchildren. Over the years all of the grandchildren and their children, have been elbow-deep in pizza dough. Working in the restaurants became a rite of passage, where many a family memory was made. This “family” includes all the cousins and friends who worked with us over the years from the early mornings in the dough rooms to the wild and crazy late nights, managing the hungry crowds.
