Very good food with large portions. The place is much bigger than before as they expanded it. This is our first stop after getting off the early ferry from Long Beach. If you plan on doing that, make sure you go straight there as it can really fill up fast with all the people coming off the ferry. The food had a really good taste and also really good presentation. The waiter was attentive as well. This is our go to breakfast spot on the island.
Stopped by here for a quick break and refresh, ordered a bagel and tuna sandwich in the meantime. Good came out great, my mom liked her bagel. The food was a little pricey but satisfying.
The only meh part was how bored the staff looked, maybe it was a slow day... either way, we would definitely come back next time around and try the breakfast!
Great place for breakfast/brunch. We had Chicken Fajita Omlette and California Bennie. Food was excellent. The place is located close to the pier and is the one of the first restaurant you seen after getting off the ferry. Spacious place with great ambience and service. We visited during memorial day weekend and it was hard to get seats in the morning, so go early or very late during busy days.
Amazing food and service!
Stopped here on our day trip to Catalina before tours and had an amazing breakfast! There were 6 of us and we were seated fast on a Tuesday morning. The atmosphere is nice and there are a lot of tables in two separate rooms. The waiter was very nice and the food came out fast. Gosh, the food was delicious!
I hope to be able to come back again.
Great spot for breakfast. Custer service was great. Food came out steaming hot. Ordered an Denver Omelet with sourdough toast. Super yummy.
It was very clean and bright lots of windows and super high ceilings.
Amazing! Had the chorizo scramble, with rice, beans and flour tortillas. So good!! Seemed like an authentic homemade meal. Yum! The salsa was homemade as well. What else could you ask for, my husband had the country breakfast: two pancakes, two eggs, two sausages and hash brown. Service was friendly, we didn’t have to wait since we sat outside but if we wanted to sit inside we would have only had to wait 15 mins, not bad for an amazing breakfast spot!
Great atmosphere, lots of open doors, good ventilation. Food was served fast, hot, and was really good. Not at all greasy, I was very happy with everything we ordered. Coffee is good too. We went here on two separate occasions for breakfast. The California Benedict was great! Although they should add a fresh tomato slice to it. Everything else we ordered was top notch. Nothing greasy which we really appreciated! We would highly recommend this place for good food & good service!
The best brunch in the island! Great service and good quality. The prices are reasonable and I highly recommend this place. We asked for our toasts to be served with avocado, which was great! Also we got their mimosa for the table and they served us with a bottle of champagne with three different juices and the waiter made the drink for us on our table. 5 Stars!
We went twice during our stay in Catalina since we liked the food so much. I tried their pancakes with eggs and potatoes the first day and an omlette the next day and both meals were delicious. I am a huge coffee lover so the coffee was nothing special but the orange juice was fresh. I would definitely go again for the food. They need more waiters. On the first visit I never got offered a coffee refill and they never checked up on us after our meal was served and on the 2nd visit the waiter was better but the hostess lost her patience with other older customers that needed more guidance. The service needs improvement but the food is delicious.
Basically an island equivelant to Denny's. There is one complaint, THERE ARE SO MANY BEE'S!! Do not make the mistake of ordering any thing sweet. My friend had oatmeal w raisens and there were bees in his raisens less than 2 minutes after ordering. It was a great experiance otherwise. There was quite the wait to get in but we were willing to do so for a great meal. I ordered the chorizzo skillet and it was GREAT! I truly enjoyed it! My husband ordered an omelet and his potatoes were "well" done. The omlelet was great though. Our servers were nice to us but the place was honestly very busy. They only gave us our first round of drinks and didnt check on us until it was time to get the check. Some one other than our server brought us our food. They also didnt bring one of my friends toast that was supposed to come with his food. It was a fun experiance even with all the issues. I recommend this place on a Monday or Tuesday when it is less packed. We hope you enjoy your meal!
Popular spot that can get busy really quick. Wait time for a table of 2 was about 20 minutes. No wait at the bar but is first come first serve. Employees are friendly. We sat at the bar. The seating was a little tight so it's a challenge to get around people but once you get seated your good. Food took about 10-15 minutes to get. Decent portions for the price. I would definitely frequent this spot.
Great place and service. Food was amazing!! We will be back
I travel a lot. This pace had something for everyone. GF, Spicy, chorizo, traditional. It was so good. I went with the pancakes to stick to the house special and it did not disappoint.
Service was Gast, they had several people wandering to pick up empty plates and trash from the table. Refilled coffee several times and asked how we were twice after the food came. They serve drinks and have a full bar. Where else can you eat pancakes at a bar with a mimosa in hand?!? If you stay the night, this is your first breakfast place.
this is one of the first restaurants you see once you get off the boats after arriving to the island so I feel as if it’s a bit more busy here than the other locations but I think it’s definitely worth the wait! Waffle was very good, and I loved their homestyle potatoes. Probably the only thing I didn’t like about this restaurant is that they only have bottled water for sale, not in a glass. But it’s just a minor complaint.
Very friendly staff with all the breakfast favorites. Food is prepared quickly when crowded. You will not go wrong here. Sitting by the “floor to ceiling” glass/wooden doors when opened gives you awesome views, ocean smells and sounds of an active beach scape
The spot is pretty much before you enter town and gets packed. I had the Egg Benedict with crispy chicken. The chicken was too oily for brunch.
