This place is a little gem! If you are looking for wonderful Mexican food this is the place. They staff is very friendly and you can tell love and time goes into what they are serving you.
This place has really good food and reasonable prices, have eaten here several times

My second time here. Some friends turned us on to this place and it's BOMB. Being from a town of mostly Mexican Food, it's hard to find good food when traveling. We'll be stopping in here every time we're in town!

I love this place and it's staff. So friendly and accommodating. I tell all my family and friends about their awesome food. Everything is so authentic and you can't get over the homemade corn tortillas. It's our Sunday ritual to eat here. And just so you know, I don't always check in for my free taco so no one knows that I am such a piggy. You're doing a great job!!!

Took my mom here last sunday after mass at church. She loved the menudo. We also had other foods and it was great. She's from San Jose and she can't wait to come back to visit so I can take her back to mass and lunch at Don Pancho's. The service and food was really good.
The food is always great here. Authentic mexican food.
Best Carne Asada Tacos and Burritos in the valley. The Salsa that comes with the chips is amazing. This is a regular stop for us.

Our friends told us about this place and always skeptical of new places but we thought we would give it a whirl- wow service what outstanding, food was amazing, salsa yummy, I will be back for sure!!
Good atmosphere. A very friendly staff that provides great service. The ceviche tostadas are the best...especially if you're high. They hit the spot after some good weed. 5 stars fasho!

Authentic Mexican food and has good flavor. Had the chilaquiles and menudo which was flavorful and not too salty which is often a problem at other places. They offer complimentary chips with beans and cheese they where crunchy and tasty.
This was our first time visiting and we enjoyed the friendliness and service. Everything we ordered was good, horchata, champurrado, chilaquiles combo, quesadilla de carne asada, menudo with toasted bread.
They also have freshly made tortillas, where you can get a free sample. Chips with beans and cheese are also included and super yum.
We want to bring our family to try it.
I frequent this restaurant on a regular basis. The food is delicious and authentic. It is always clean and the staff is amazingly. I love the posole irs a little different in flavor than what we make at home but it delicious and the spices work . I go to this location for breakfast mostly. The chlequilles are amazingly delicious
Delicious food! Would definitely recommend 🙌 The best that I’ve had in the West Valley. Smaller location, clean, friendly staff and there’s even outdoor seating as well. Only negative about being outside is the birds!
The cocido is delicious. A must-try. Suggest a smaller Bowl than what I got. I was overwhelmed with the amount. Lots of flavor. Will definitely get this dish again. No table service so you will get your own soda refills. Order with the cashier and they will bring the food to the table. Restaurant will clean up the table. Very casual. Outside dining also.
I have been coming here for years and it's one of my favorite restaurants. I love the food, service and atmosphere. Quality food, that is just like grandma/mom makes.
i ate my bean and cheese burrito.i saw they used home made tortillas and beans cooked with the perfect amount of grease. I also had a street tacos and the meat is so juicy and tasty. My neighbor is a quadraplegic and he is that goes there and loves it so he told us that we have to try. I'm glad we did.

Came in this morning to Don Pancho Mexican Food and decided to order a menudo plate. The Menudo was as I would of hope for, delicious flavorful and above all the protein was tender. Also with hand made corn tortillas. Satisfied definitely will come back. Thank you Don Pancho
I don't know how my old review got deleted. But I've been coming here since 2013 or 2014, and they are my only go-to Taco spot. I want to say I started going here right when they first opened. Coming from Socal back in the day, mexican food was a hit and miss in Avondale. Until I found Don Ponchos. Their Carne Asada is so freaking good and the red Salas I'll just drown my burrito it it! Hot but good salsa! The mom and Dad are always nice when I would come in. It is a family run, and they take a lot of preside in the food they make. I just got back to Avondale a month ago and have been back here 4 times.

Food and service is great here! Tripas tacos are crunchy the way my husband and I like them. All the tacos we've tried here have been delicious. Even their chips and salsa are so tasty!
First time here called them at after 11am on a Sunday and they still had menudo! So excited, very good menudo, home made tortillas. Super friendly staff. Would recommend the menudo
Staff was friendly. Ordered a large Pozole to go.There was a huge bone in the pozole and the only other meat in there was mostly fatty. Other than that taste was on point.
Went to Don Pancho's this past weekend and it was amazing! Carne asada was perfectly cooked, flavorful and definitely had toppings (not skipy like other places). The menu here also has menudo and posole. So glad I tried the place because now it's one of my favs!
The food is very delicious and the tortillas made by hand are absolutely out of this world. Couldn't ask for a more authentic taste.
