Very friendly service. Our hostess seated us with a smile and great attitude. The place is visually appealing, with wood adornment, a long bar and a jovial atmosphere. The beer was cold, great selection, and the salad we ordered (Gorgonzola) was beyond fresh and tasty. The pizza we ordered was hot, very tasty, and brought some of the wood oven flavor and bottom char with it. The pizza is served with shears to cut at the table, and its a system that works, you cut off just what you need. Highly recommend this place. When we visit the island again we will definitely return.
Excellent fresh ingredients on a greasy baked pizza. Highly recommend
Great place with yummy pizza 🍕 👅 Full bar, wood fired pizza and salads can't go wrong.
Excellent food and drink and a very tastefully done interior. Rather busy but not surprising as the pizza was great!
Great place would highly recommend! Had flatbread appetizer - yum!
Best pizza !!!
Real pizza !!
Excellent wine section and
super service!!!
Wonderful pizza and a great atmosphere. Although there was a wait, I was able to sit at bar right away. Attentive service during busy crowd. Psyched to have on island!
Excellent Margarita pizza and delicious beet salad. Our server was knowledgeable, warm and welcoming.
This is a very trendy and relaxing place! Will recommend to all!!!
Located in the Island of Bainbridge, this business is quite a find. This
Restaurant only offers indoor seating, however, they have a large garage door type opening at the front of the restaurant that allows for decent airflow.
Prices are affordable, food is delicious, and service is kind and accommodating. The pizza is not the traditional pizza but on the unique side as you cut apart the pizza with scissors. You can even add extra ingredients to your pizza, for example, a local favorite is adding an egg to the center of the pizza.
Two of the main attractions surrounding this restaurant is - 1. The shopping district of Bainbridge and 2. The Washington State Ferry terminal. So eat, shop, then jump onto a ferry to Seattle for another adventure. Additional appealing aspects to this business is that it is one of the few places in Bainbridge Island that does not close when the sun goes down. Do not get me wrong, it does not stay open late either but the late'ish hours does give costumers additional options for early evening dining.
Overall, for whatever reason, go here and you will not be disappointed. This locally owned Italian hipster restaurant on Bainbridge Island in western Washington is quite a treat!
One of our go to dining spots in Winslow. The pizza is excellent, the salads and sides are exceptional, wine list features solid, reliable Italian wine. Anything on the menu including burrata cheese is going to be delicious!
Just, wow! Best pizza around, bar none. But don't sleep on their meatballs - delicious. The Caesar salad was large enough for three, to boot. Easy 5-star rating here.
I would absolutely eat here again. The vibe was cozy and chill and staff were so helpful when we were in a rush to leave. The pizza was also delicious but the kind staff made it worth a visit!
I ordered the Caesar salad and the soppressata e pepe pie. The salad was enormous; I think they used a whole head of Romaine! I could only eat about half of it. The salad prep was off; while I appreciate the hand-torn leaves, some bits were far too big to put in my mouth. And some lettuce was seriously bruised; I think that they put a wrestler in charge of the salad prep. There were far too few croutons for the amount of lettuce. The dressing was decent, but I wanted more anchovy and garlic flavor.
The pie was decently tasty. The tomato sauce was stellar; it tasted super fresh. I wanted more of the peppers and onion on my pie. While the top of the pie looked well-cooked with a blistered crust, the bottom did not get the same love. The thin crust (which what I far prefer) was not crisp and picking up a slice was an exercise in frustration as it just sagged sadly. The soppressata was appropriately thinly sliced and nice and spicy. And what's with the stupid dull pizza scissors? Just slice the pie for me when you plate it.
Authentic wood-fired pizza with a nice indoor/outdoor feel. No patio but love the open garage door on a warm day, as well as the open concept kitchen. You can watch them working hard on pizzas, salads, and cocktails. Masks required indoors. Large selection of pizzas, we loved the date and prosciutto with balsamic! Local beers and ciders on the menu as well!
Worked well for a family with a 4yo and saw many other families there too. Great pizza. We had an appetizer, a prosciutto pizza and a pepperoni pizza; both were great! Wife also had a glass of wine. Great ambiance! The staff was also friendly and very efficient. All in all, a great place to visit in Bainbridge island.
