The cook got both our meals right. I asked for medium rare steak, the veggies needed to be steamed better. My wife's pot roast sandwich was as ordered without onions and mushrooms. Service was excellent.

Love it all the people working there make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in they all began to say welcome to Denny's. The service was great and the food made to order and fresh. Thank for the great experience.
Staff was pleasant and efficient, clean and typical Denny's menu. The 2 4 6 8 menu was on the table we didn't find it until we had already ordered off the menu they seated us with. Would have been nice if the hostess would have mentioned it when we were seated. Overall it was a pleasant visit

Our server n cook were the BEST!! Never really had a good experience at Dennys till this early morning. Perfect time to go in. Usually onlyvstop for fuel but we were hungry so decided to try it. So happy that we did.
My wife and I frequently stop at Denny's while traveling. We have found that's a Denny's located at the Flying J truck stops are usually friendly, fast, and the food is well prepared. After several disappointing instances at the local franchised Denny's in Bakersfield, we decided to drive out to the Denny's at the Flying J at Merced Avenue. We were not disappointed. Sandra, our server, was quick and very efficiently able to provide excellent service. The food was well-prepared. The food was hot when it arrived at the table. All in all an excellent experience. One can only hope that the Denny's in Bakersfield can learn to live up to that standard.
