First visit to El Appetiz. Had the steak and mushroom sandwich. It was the best steak sandwich I've ever had for under $10!! And it comes with fries or a salad. Large portion and excellent ingredients. It was a steak cut into thick, tasty strips. Look it should be. The owner was very kind and friendly. Great service and quick preparation. And easy parking. I'll be a regular customer. I highly recommend!

I brought my wife and son here for the first time ... service was not excellent but good .. we ordered a grilled chicken avocado sandwich for my wife ... my son had the calzone and I had the steak and shrimp scampi... the food had a great presentation and the taste was excellent.. different than other Italian restaurants... all the dishes tasted super fresh, delicious and with a subtle twist of Italian Mexican and Cajun cuisine.... definitely coming back to try the rest of the menus ... p.s. small spot but clean and cozy ππ½
While planning my wedding, we came here for a taste testing. They were polite, fun, generous, and overall a delight to be with. Additionally, they worked out affordable prices and the food was some of the most exquisite Italian food I've ever had. They said that the only reason they own a freezer is for their French Fries, which was added to the menu by popular demand.
Every dish seemed to have some special twist or change to the norm, curated by the owner, that only aided in enhancing the already amazing flavors.
My fiancΓ©e and I loved the food so much that we fully intend to drive the hour and half it takes to get there for a date nights on a regular basis.
This place is BOMB!!!!! WAY BETTER than any chain restaurant. The price is great too! Yummy food!!! Always great.
