Great little Chinese restaurant. I know there are a lot to choose from in the area, but they specialize in Szechuan cuisine and duck. The sliced beef with chili sauce was exactly what I wanted. The fried rice was excellent. I definitely want to try and visit again to try their noodles. The jellyfish and cabbage was really tasty as well.

The potstickers and the cold noodles were delicious. The hot pot is an acquired taste. Overall a great experience. The waitress was really nice and they follow covid coverings. Very clean place.

First time visit for me & my friend. We didnt know what to order so we ordered everything under "handmade dim sum". Everything was very tasty. Soups were a bit on the salty side, but the dumplings were not, so I guess there is a balance. Loved the steamed buns & potstickers the best. Fillings of all the dim sum were great. Not the non-descript mystery meatball you would usually get. It was different & we liked it. When they say spicy, they mean spicy! One chili has a kick, 2 chilis & you're going "ehem"...in a good way. Overall: We would go back again for the dim sum part of the menu & are now interested in exploring the rest of the menu offerings. Note: the building is a small & white. You would miss it if you didnt use GPS... SO use GPS!! ENJOY!

Came here for the first time. I was waited on quickly. The place is nice and clean. Ordered Dan Dan Noodles and Sichuan Dumplings. Both are on the spicy side but nothing you can't handle if you already eat spicy food. Will be coming back to try some of the other items on the menu.

Came here because we were craving some noodles and noticed that this was nearby. It was a really nice experience but there were things here and there were still some downs to my experience here. Looking at the photos on Google and Yelp, its seems that this place may be known for their duck, which is something I will definitely need to try next time. Lets start off with the location. Meizhou Express is located on Maine Avenue and sit in what I thought was a warehouse or industrial building. Little did I know it was the restaurant I was going to eat at. So finding it can be a little bit of trouble. Parking was plentiful and the lot is vast so I can never see a time where it can be hard to find parking. Walking inside we were greeted with the host/server. We were seated next to the window and immediately nestled in. We were given water right off the bat and paper menus. Our party ordered the Beef Noodle Soup, Meizhou Buns, and Soup Dumplings (their take on XLB). We received the Beef Noodle Soup first and this was one of the reasons I decided to knock off a star. The soup was extremely salty but the beef and noodles saved it because they were both great. There was only one bok choi in the soup which was kind of upsetting because I love a balance of protein and vegetables but it didn't break the meal. Next, the Soup Dumplings came and it was great. However, there wasn't soup at all in the dumplings but the meat and the skins of the dumplings were still tasty. Lastly. we had the Meizhou Buns, which were steamed buns with ground pork in it. It was really good and a great treat. Overall, my experience here was great, but the salty soup, the hard to find location and the kind of beat up interior, I would say this place is on the lower end of 4 stars. I have seen some reviews about service being terrible but I did not have the same experience. Service was great and I would definitely come back again to try their Minced Pork Noodles and Dan Dan Noodles.
