As per wife's request the search for a Friday night dinner together begins. We run through the typical list with alot of nah been there done thats. She remembered a suggestion to try a place in Baldwinsville the quest digs deeper because she couldn't remember the name. Hello google, bam nailed it pictures of food, glasses of wine, looks good let's roll a snow storm is about to start soon. We walk in through a wooden door next to a picture window with people inside enjoying the end of a work week.
This is not a big place it is not a place where staff is climbing over each other. We walked in to a full restaurant looked around and thought man we may not get to eat. There was one table near the door available this is usually a deal breaker for me. To walk in no farther than 6 feet and realize thats how far into a place you can get. However as we looked around there was an atmosphere that was warmer than any draft from a door. The bar tender saw us and said grab a seat be right there. Sure enough our waitress came right over waters and menus in hand. Danis is a tapas bar. Food choices are easy to make after looking at the menu " 1 of everything please " just kidding only because the weather was getting worse but seriously get 4 friends order everything you will love yourself after. As for drinks, Dani's has a nice wine selection, bottle and draft beers, and homemade cocktails. We decide to share a bottle of house cabernet sauvignon not bad at all for $20 and it worked well for our food items and dessert, yes get the desserts! Wine came on time food rolled out at a pace where everthing was hot and delicious. Thats the upside to tapas when its done it is delivered not sitting waiting for the other stuff to be done while it gets colder. On a cold night I couldn't think of a warmer place to enjoy with the wife.
This place is a hidden gem. We stopped by on a Thursday evening to give it a go. Only negative and it's a small one, was that it took a few minutes to get that first drink. It's a cozy place, but also has lots of seats at the bar, and it would be a fun spot to hang with some drinks and enjoy some small plates. Everything we ordered was delicious and nicely presented. I'm a big wine guy, and though the selections were ok, I wouldn't mind seeing a few more upper-level reds. No deserts this trip, but they look awesome.
One note: The website menu is woefully behind the actual menu, and there's no wine list on the website. You should update, because you're shortchanging yourselves!!
Went for girl's dinner. Cute little place and decent service. Quaint for sure but a larger menu than expected. Be prepared they only have beer and wine; not a full bar. Desserts were impressive- particularly the peanut butter confection and creme brulee. Seating was a little tight.
Great place, good food, but the name is mis-leading. More focus on tapas and food than desserts. Good wines, but once again with ‘wine’ in the name I’d like to see a more extensive collection available. Overall it is cozy, the service is great, and the food is good. Will definitely return regularly. 👍🏻

The waitstaff is friendly, professional, and good about customizing an order to one's wishes. I highly recommend this little gem and am glad to have it located so close to wheeI live!
Great customer service! Great food, wine, and a good selection of beer. The owner has always made my girlfriend and I feel like family when we are there. Trust me; go eat, drink, be merry, and you will return to Dani's again, I promise!
Just came for dessert not realizing they offered food as well. The food items on the menu looked nice and the few items I saw others with looked great. The desserts my wife and I had were very good, and can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!
A cool little place that has a great selection of small plates. The decor and ambiance is very nice. It has a cozy atmosphere. The food was delicious. A perfect spot for date night.
Absolutely wonderful. Service was welcoming and the food was delicious. Enjoyed craft beer with my meal and a dessert that was obviously made by an experienced baker. Looking forward to a future visit
Atmosphere was charming! Staff was outstanding. We had wine and brie appetizer only but entrees looked delicious and other patrons were enthusiastic!
Great food and relaxing atmosphere. Fun and delicious small plates, creative and scrumptious specials. Not to mention the desserts are so yummy!! A must try!!

First time was a charm for me, and it certainly won't be my last time. All food was prepared properly and consistently. The key lime pie was outstanding.
I love this cozy little place with a warm atmosphere. The apps and drink selection are top notch. I haven’t tried their desserts.

Easily the sexiest place in downtown B'Ville. All of the female staff exude inner beauty. As for outer beauty, the women all bring to mind Darryl Hannah. Shawn, or is it Sean, treats us menfolk all like bros and yet, this American dude approximates the service levels of a good English butler. The fireplace might be faux and yet at Dani's, I am lulled by it as if it were a real fire. Do the tables shine as if they were highly polished Japanese lacquer? Am I awake or am I dreaming? Am I in love or am I loved by the universe as I slowly sip my wine. Is this a commercial space or a mystical temple?
Montreal has public houses akin to this, living rooms where a woman with a name like Lilly or Evangeline shares her wine with you. In B'Ville, her name is Dani.
Excellent food and service. They have a changing menu with specials with new items to try. Very nice small plates establishment.
