My first time here and my server was friendly and very attentive, didn’t miss anything. The food was exactly how I thought it would be, got the ginormous blue crab and the old bay seasoning was perfect to use on the crab meat. The crab cake was very filling, loved that it’s mostly meat and not breading. The fries are great, this is a must try place to go if you’re visiting the area.

Love the crabs here! The crabs were juicy and spicy with the old bay seasoning. We also got the fried platter and I got the fried soft shell crab but I don’t think I would get either again. The fried platter was so tiny for $28 and only the fried shrimps were good or memorable. The rest I couldn’t tell what was fried at all. The soft shell crab was nice in that you could eat everything but I would rather get the steamed jumbo crab instead at the same price which would mean more crab meat!!! So next time, I would get like 8 jumbo crabs 🦀

Great flavor on everything. Started with the local oysters, they were clean bright flavor, really cold and delicious. We got the large steam crabs and both types of crab cakes. The old bay on the steamed crabs was amazing, great texture, perfect size. If I came again I'd get the steamed crab cakes, they had more flavor although both were really good. 100% recommend.

You cant beat the price!! For three drinks, a half dozen extra large crabs, 1lb of crab legs, corn, and hush puppies all came out to less than $120. What a steal, especially if you're familiar with the price of crab nowadays. Hands down one of the best tasting crab’s I’ve ever had. Probably should have ordered large as I was full after eating three because they were so full of crab meat. The staff is extremely kind and very attentive to their patrons. I had a wonderful experience and already planning my next trip back.

This is definitely an experience and a good one at that! It’s great for hanging out with friends and family. There’s a rooftop deck too if you’d like to be outside with a view, and plenty of indoor seating. Tucked away into a quiet neighborhood of baltimore the view was great and the seafood was delicious! The hush puppies are a MUST! While the majority of the menu is seafood there are some options for non-seafood lovers too. Definitely worth a try especially if you love crab!

The hush puppies was amazing! The shrimp dish was great too. The only reason for four stars was the unasked up-charge. I asked for a the fried shrimp plate with just shrimp and fries. It came with coleslaw. We asked the waitress and were told it comes with it. Actually, it doesn’t come with it unless you add $3. So $6 was added to my husband and I meals without permission. I ate half of mines and my husband didn’t touch his coleslaw. I found out after looking at the menu online. Double check what you order. I walked from a hotel nearby so I can’t attest to parking.

We first came here in 2016 and loved it so much we had to come back when we came to Baltimore again. Casual, comfortable atmosphere with great food. Everything we got was fresh and delicious. Service was quick and very friendly. So glad we came back!

Crabs were fresh, and steamed to perfection, although it would be hard to mess that up. We also ordered fried pickles, which had a thicker breading than the last time I was here, and the fried calamari were slightly overcooked. Otherwise the restaurant is clean and well lighted, and the server was very attentive. Little on the pricy side, but quality is worth it.

L.P. Steamers has lots of great seafood options for everyone to enjoy! My group got a little bit of everything and we loved it all. The restaurant is a little small so expect to wait if you go during busy times.

We love Blue Crabs and saw this place on Instagram. We drove alllllll the way from NC and I PROMISE it was worth the drive! The cream crab soup was delicious. My favorite part of the meal was the HUSHPUPPIES and the cinnamon butter! We ordered a dozen and could only eat 8 between the both of us. Definitely worth the road trip!

My top recommended spot for seafood in Baltimore, only knocking off one star due to poor service but it could have just been an off day. Their fried soft shell crab was one of the best I’ve ever had and their crab cakes were so meaty, no filler, and incredibly flavorful. Their local oysters were also great, both the raw and steamed. Their soups were good and the steamed crab was alright. If anything, just get the fried soft shell crab, crab cakes, and oysters. Everything else was just good. Incredible prices too, would highly recommend.

I’ve been coming to L.P. Steamers for years now during my work trips to Baltimore. Never disappoints and always worth the wait! If I’m with someone willing to get down and get dirty, I am not afraid to order the “boat load of seafood” but otherwise I order the “Francis Scott trio.” So many great options on the menu even if you’re not into seafood. I will say it was a bit hot inside the restaurant this last visit, so maybe add additional A/C unit’s in the interior.

I can’t believe I haven’t gone to this place more often. The best bang for your buck on the east coast for sure. They have some of the best onion rings I’ve had and they have my favorite hush puppies. The insides aren’t too dry or too mushy they are perfect and absolutely delicious with the brown sugar butter they provide. The crab dip was amazing too. And everything all together didn’t give me a heart attack when the bill came.

Even from a locals pov, if you’re gonna get crabs, get them from LP Steamers. They really do a disservice w their understated attitude. This is a Baltimore staple that ought to be brought to attention to the masses. Maybe that’s why it’s so unaffected and genuine, only in Baltimore. Right smack center in Locust Point you’ll find this row home turned diner that serves the best of them all. I wish we had ordered everything off the menu, alas we got what we can handle portion wise. We got the crabs, onion rings, fried shrimp, hush puppies, all better than none other. Old bay seasoning making its way delicately in every item we ordered. Locals love this place and so did we. Full marks!

I went here on my trip to Baltimore and & I can say that these are some of the best steamed crabs I have ever eaten. The building is super cool and the decorations inside are very nice. The service was excellent and I would highly recommend, and I will totally come back next time I’m in Baltimore.

I visited from Portland, OR and everyone told me to eat some Baltimore crab. I asked around and all fingers pointed to L.P. Steamers. What a great spot!! We got the whole crab experience and it did not disappoint. What a great spot!!

I grew up eating at road side clam shacks and L.P is very reminiscent of my experience. Clearly the rockstar move is to order a pile of crabs and just dig it. We were driving through and didn’t have the luxury of digging in so we opted for more manageable fare. The soft shell sandwich was great as was the peel and eat shrimp. You can never go wrong with oyster but if I am honest the clams had a low tide air to them and I don’t think the popcorn shrimp is made on premises. That said, sitting outside on a sunny afternoon enjoying the chill vibes and cheerful service was worth the price of admission. I look forward to coming back and digging into some crabs 🦀 when I can hose off shortly after.

Based on the reviews, I had high expectations; even still, I was absolutely blown away! The food was extremely fresh and delicious. We ordered a mountain of food, and every single item blew me away. To start, the hush puppies were the best I have ever eaten; they were steaming hot, crisp on the outside, and soft on the inside. It’s also a great amount, around 15 pieces per order. It was so good we had to get a second order. The calamari was light and crispy as well. Of course, the star of the show was the steamed crab. They were cooked to perfection, the meat was extremely juicy, and the crabs were great quality. We also got fish and chips, which were exceptional. The fried shrimp also did not disappoint. We got the Francis Scott Trio, which was a combination of three steamed items. We got the lobster tail, shrimp, and scallops. The lobster tail was so juicy, the shrimp was great, and the scallops might be the best I’ve ever had. They were so savory and delicious. For all of the food we got, the value and price was amazing. The staff was very kind, and the environment was great. If you’re in Baltimore, do not skip out in L.P. Steamer. It is absolutely worth it, and could be one of the best meals of your life!
