When Gertrude's was suggested as a lunch location when we were visiting Baltimore, my first guess was that the restaurant at the BMA would be a nice spot where well-off museum visitors could enjoy a meal with their friends. Yup. It was all that and more.
The menu turned out to be the Chesapeake Bay
Gertrude's is consistent and ALWAYS FANTASTIC. Their service is great, dishes are ALWAYS tasty and my go to for business meetings. Fresh flowers at each table are always a nice touch💐🌹🌸
Maybe the best meal I've had all year! Happened to be restaurant week. Starter salad was huge and the blueberries great. The rockfish imperial is about as "Baltimore" as you can get! Amazing. The upside-down warm peach cake took it over the top! Try this meal regardless of restaurant week or not. Ma
Once again, a morning at the Baltimore Museum of Art and then lunch at Gertrude's will be a fall memory I can fall back on when the weather turns cold and dreary. We shared appetizers, all of which were wonderful. Our server, Eric, was personable and knew the menu and wine list well. We felt quite p
Best turkey burger EVER. Juicy, tasty, perfectly cooked.
Good fries too.
Nice ambiance. A bit loud for chatting with friends and server.
Hot tea could be better quality.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere in a great art museum. The waitstaff were friendly and professional. The food was excellent. I had a perfect bowl of Tomato soup, an oyster PoBoy, and a glorious dessert. Sat in a comfy quiet spot near the bar. Perfect evening.
By far the best fried oysters in the city (tied with Cindy Wolf)! Burgers, soup, salad - all yummy. The chocolate candy bar dessert is outstanding. We're so lucky to have this gem in Baltimore!
Bomb baby! This spot has been knocking our socks off for years. I haven’t been in ages and recently had the opportunity to go to lunch with my mother. The Tangy Asian Noodles are BOMB AF and the mussels soooo delicious. Loved the crunch and creaminess of the vegan crab cakes. The cauliflower bits we
Delicious. After a nice museum tour, this is a perfect place to have lunch. Today’s gorgeous weather was perfect to sit outside. A glass of rosé with spinach salad is a good start. The Salmon and crab cake are super yummy. Peach upside down cake is a perfect way to close. We will return to Gertrude’
