What an incredible dining experience! The food is artfully prepared and presented with amazing fresh ingredients delicately balanced with spices. Chef Jose is the talented yet humble chef, server and bartender in the small but comfortable space. The pace of the weekend prix fixe menu courses was perfect and each dish was spectacular. We left satisfied but not stuffed after one of the best meals we’ve had in Baltimore in 18 years. Don’t forget your Peruvian pisco for delicious pisco sours to accompany your fistic meal!

Small plates were amazing! Each plate had the perfect flavor combinations. The prix frie menu was a little pricey, but well worth it! The service was also as good as the food. Definitely a great Baltimore experience!

Everything about this place was amazing! Starting with the chef bringing us in from the rain and seating us when there were no table available but making room for a party of 10 or so. The food was easily some of the best that I’ve ever had and would come back to Baltimore just to eat here again. 5* isn’t enough for how amazing this experience was.

Hands down, one of the best peruvian meals I've had in the States. The price fixed menu, allows you to enjoy different foods without the stress of choosing. BYOB allow us to bring our pisco and have them make a delicious pisco sour. Bravo for the owner and Baltimore has a hidden gem!

The best meal I've had in Baltimore. Each plate was more beautiful and tasty than the one before. I eat a vegan diet and Victorio happily accommodated my wishes (perhaps he liked the challenge?!). It was an absolute delight to dine at Puerto 511. I look forward to going back soon.

I had heard that Puerto 511 was amazing from several different "foodie" sources. I found it to a delightful experience. Not only is the food delicious but the presentation was also very good. The ceviche was perhaps the best that I've ever had ad well as the empanadas. The menu changes monthly...we will be back.

Great chef tasing meal. BYOB helps keep the price of your meal lower. Fantastic food very creative. Service pace is slow but allows you to be able to eat all six courses without feeling too full. Highly recommend.

My wife and I ate at Puerto 511 before the Peter Frampton concert and we loved it. We consider ourselves foodies and the food was great. Authentic Peruvian cuisine. I highly recommend it. Keep in mind it's a small restaurant and very quaint.

Incredible finding. The service and food are TOP NOTCH. I came for a birthday dinner and couldn't have asked for a better place. The chef does everything: from greating to cook to serve. Then he was able to attend requests, which I was surprised for a set menu. There aren't stars enough that justifies how good this restaurant is. And the price is more than fair. Everyone working at this restaurant foes above and beyond and they deliver great customer service and amazing food. Thank you guys for a spectacular evening.

Well! Is convenient to explain the type of menu they have. Their menu is unique. It has 5 times(from appetizer to dessert). Everything is very delicious and very fresh. The quality of the ingredients is very good. It must also be said that the quantities They are not generous (unlike everyday Peruvian food), but you could get full. Also, you can bring your drinks or your Pisco, and they will prepare your Pisco Sour for a small fee. The place is small but is nice and cozy.

I visited this restaurant on a Tuesday night, looking forward to enjoying some good ceviche in Baltimore. To my surprise, they were only offering a 5-course menu, which wasn’t mentioned on their website. Despite not having a reservation, the staff was incredibly accommodating, and the waitress kindly found a table for two. This small yet popular restaurant was almost full, adding to the lively ambiance. I used to have classic ceviche catered by the Peruvian embassy. As a first-time Tiradito taster, I found the texture average and sauce a bit too salty, though the sweet potato was delightful. The shrimp dish was nice, but the accompanying onions had an unexpected fishy taste. It would be great if the kitchen could use separate boards for vegs and raw fish/meat to avoid such flavors mixing. My party enjoyed the beef dish, I personally found it a little bit overcooked. The dessert was a highlight – my preference would be to replace the sprouts with a mint leaf for a more harmonious presentation. Also, the purple corn beverage was a pleasant discovery and complemented the meal well. Appreciate the staff’s efforts and look forward to seeing how this restaurant continues to evolve

Amazing dining experience! Had a 6-course meal. The dishes were exquisite. Really good size portions and well-spaced-apart. I don’t eat shellfish and they were very accommodating and replaced it for the protein of my choice. It’s a VERY small restaurant, so make sure you have a reservation and arrive on time! Whole experience lasted about 2 hours for us.

This is a magical culinary experience. The service os top notch nobody questions that. But the visuals for each plate, those are amazing. The flavors are fantastic, and I ask you, take your time and do small portions from the dish. You can experience many different flavors. Did I mention it is a BYOB? YES! Bring your bottle of wine, pisco, or preferred drink, and you only pay the service for it. It is a small place in size but huge as a palate experience. For some places in the USA or globally, this prix fixe menu can be high, but not this area of the country, and it is worth every single cent. I loved it! 🙌❤️

Visited on a Tuesday and really enjoyed the 5 course imaginative and seasonal Peruvian prix fixe menu, and loved that it is BYO, with great pisco sours they make for you (just don't forget to bring your own bottle of pisco!) While each dish was unique, the ceviche (tiradito) really stood out and is probably the best ceviche I've ever had. Service was a bit slow, since the small but cozy dining room was full with only one server, but we were able to fully relax and enjoy each course and beverages. Reservations are required, definitely will return!

I love this place. We’ve been twice now and each time was outrageous. Fast and friendly service. Food is disturbingly good. Like I think Jose is a magician. 10/10 would recommend.

My husband and I have dined here twice and each time we thoroughly enjoyed the EXPERIENCE. That is exactly what it is...a dining "experience". The executive chef makes you feel so special and is extremely accommodating. The food is delicious and the service is top notch. The atmosphere and vibe is laidback and romantic. You almost feel like you are NOT in downtown Baltimore on Clay Street. I do also appreciate that they keep the restaurant doors locked so you feel extremely safe. They only open the door for the guests who are dining. The menu changes every so often. Our favorite has been the Ahi Tuna dish, lamb chop dish, and the octopus dish. The real MVP is the Pisco Sour. Delish!! This place is the perfect spot for an intimate special occasion. We will definitely be back.

The prix fixe menu, especially for the price, is hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. Every course was beautifully plated and a home run in depth of flavor. The Pisco sour is marvelous and once again for an unbeatable price. The staff is wonderful. The chef came to each table at least once. I can’t recommend this place enough. We will most definitely be back.
