Bottega, what's not to love about this place? Fantastic food and dessert menu simple but covers all the ranges. The Malfatti was excellent and went very well with the brown butter and sage sauce was by far one of the greatest things I've tasted. The Spaghetti and clams was also good. It was well prepared but certainly not my favorite dish from Bottega. The Fried Porgy was very tasty. The fish was well seasoned and not over-fried. For a light desert we tried their apple dessert. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. The service is perfect as never to rushed but always there. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I enjoy trying new restaraunts, Bottega was good one . I recommend this place.

Bottega is in a perfect location, just outside of Downtown Baltimore and easily accessible from I-83. It's also located on the same block as the historic Charles Theater and it would make a perfect date night or girls night out. On this occasion, I visited with two female friends and we had a girls night out. We each brought a bottle of wine and settled into a cozy table. We went on a Tuesday night and after looking at the menu, I was pleased to see that the $10.00 pasta night is Monday-Thursday from 4-7pm. The menu includes six past options for $10.00 each. The six pasta options included: Tagliatelle, Malfatti, Bucatini, Rigatoni, Spaghetti & Clams and Pappardelle. We each ordered a different option so we could sample the others – honestly, isn't that how this foodie thing works? I ordered the Bucatini all' Amatricana and it was made with chili, tomato and guanciale (bacon) and lots of parmesean cheese. Bucatini is a fat spaghetti noodle and I loved the texture of the housemade pasta. The sauce was fresh and the guanciale added a slight salty taste in contrast with the parmesan cheese. For dessert we ordered the Apple Dumpling with Hibiscus Ice Cream.

Melt-in-your-mouth Italian food. Wow. If you’ve ever wondered what authentic Italian dishes taste like, this is it. Simple. High-quality. Perfect. The pate was mild and tasty, definitely house made. The bucatini was soft and supple, with a rich sauce... but not too much sauce. Again, perfect. The rigatoni was the highlight of the meal. Spicy sausage, rapini, garlic... again, simple. Rich. Perfect. Hugely impressed. Thank you for an excellent meal.

Cute little Italian joint, and some great food. Only caveat is you have to go to their sister restaurant next door to buy wine..😂

Very chic and cozy atmosphere inside this small Italian restaurant. The staff is very friendly and the food tastes delicious and fresh. Also, the deserts are great! Just remember it's BYOB (although pen and quill next door will sell you a bottle of wine at a discount).

Great food but the atmosphere is impressively noisy. The pasta is light and pleasant. Everything was well seasoned and tasty. The only thing that fell short otherwise is the pana cotta, which was hard set and a bit underwhelming finishing an otherwise lovely meal.

Bottega is my favorite restaurant in Baltimore. The menu is simple and always delicious, the service is relaxed and the atmosphere is cozy. Sit in the front for a quieter, more romantic atmosphere. Sit in the back for a more bustling, energetic experience. I love this place!

Amazing food! The food, The food, The food! The place is small, quaint, cozy and rustic. The food! Where do I start! All good, its authentic italian, not american italian! This is not olive garden if you want spaghetti and meatballs this is not the place for you. How do I know its authentic, I live in Tuscany part of the year and the food here is legit. They do not sell wine so bring your own, I do not believe they have a corking fee which is nice. The only and I mean the only down side is their coffee. It sucks, but that is such a small complaint.... who needs coffee after a meal when the food is so good here. Take my advice call ahead and get a reservation because this place is always booked and go eat at Bottega.

Make reservations but it's well worth it. Its byob, which is even better. But all food choices won't let you down. We all shared. The chocolate and caramel dessert was worth the extra calories.

Hands down the best hidden gem restaurant in Baltimore. Everything is on point her from the service to the food. With an every changing menu and a BYOB option you;ll be hard pressed to find a more delicious meal in town. Be sure to plan ahead with minimal seating reservations are a must.

Excellent food! Charming, rustic decor, knowledgeable waitstaff. Had no trouble finding parking just around the corner. Be sure to make a reservation, as it only has about 10 tables.

A great little restaurant. Rustic, home-style Italian food with a lovely, cosy ambiance. Really delicious pastas and comfort food, in generous portions, at s very reasonable price.

We love this place. Everything on the menu is great but we love the pasta and salads. It's one of the best restaurants in baltimore and it's byob. I enjoy going here more than Woodbury Kitcgen. There I said it!

Omg! Needed a quick bite with mom before catching Bolt bus, and nothing around. This place across street happened to be open at 2:30 on Sunday. Amazing food! What a score.
