After going to the Ravens/Redskins game my husband and I walked to Federal Hill, a recommendation from a local. We asked Siri for local restaurants once we got to the area and Brendali's was suggested! I call this a hidden jewel. It proves that you can not judge a book by its cover! The service and the food were delicious. Great prices and friendly staff. The experience was top notch from start to finish. We started with grilled calamari (you could choose from grilled, fried, buffalo or Thai). Wow! We were very happy with our choose. Next we shared a Caesar which is the perfect size salad for the two of us. For our entree we both had veal Parm.... large portion, with a very generous portion of cheese and delicious home made ziti.
A great find. It was our first time but not our last. We look forward to introducing friends...
This place is wonderful. Don't let the outside fool you. Pedro the chef makes an amazing penne vodka... A true must! And don't forget to ask for roll with take out.... They have stellar dinner rolls. They are a BYOB establishment so bring along a bottle of wine and enjoy this amazing food for either lunch or dinner, the portion sizes are very large for both meal services. This restaurant is a definite must try.
Friendly, quick service, good foods, resealable price. High recommend! .
One of the best hidden gems in federal hill! Fantastic authentic Italian food, amazing service, can't beat prices, and to top it off - BYOB! Love this place
I always said Federal Hill was missing a legitimate Deli and a legitimate Italian Restaurant, we'll you can check Italian Restaurant off my list. I don't know why it took me so long to try it. This place was phenomenal! I ordered the Crab Fettuccini Alfredo and it was top notch. Big chunks of crab meat, fresh ingredients, and large portions. I had the rest for lunch today and it was even delicious reheated in the microwave, there is some wizardry going over there at Brendali! I rarely go out of my way to write a reviews for restaurants, but this is well deserved. I can't say how the service was as I had mine delivered via OrderUp, but it was prepared quickly and still hot when it arrived. I have nothing but praises for Brendali, keep up the good work!
Went to this restaurant for the first time last night, had a really tentative waitress who made sure we were OK at all times! We started with the crab bruschetta it was so fresh and the crab meat was lump! I got the penne vodka and my boyfriend got the crab ravioli, both came out hot and fresh...very tasty! Overall, this restaurant was so goooooooood and love that it is BYOB we will be back very soon :)
Stopped for dinner at Brendali before an Orioles game. Don't judge a book by its cover. It has plain and simple decor but the food was excellent. Everyone was very satisfied with their dinner selections. There were five of us , each ordered something different and everyone was wowed. The only issue was no liquor license so it is byob. That was easily solved with a quick run to the liquor store for a few bottles of wine. Would definitely go back next time I'm in Federal Hill.
Don’t let the outside fool you- delicious food all around

Literally, the BEST eggplant parm I have ever had!!!! (But go Light on the sauce so you can taste each delicately fried layer of eggplant)
Best Italian food in all of the city! Looks questionable from the outside but the food is knockout every time!
I love this restaurant! The food and service are excellent. The price is awesome without shorting you with small portions. I will keep coming back :)
Little Italy is dead to me. Seriously - I've lived here for 15 years, and if I wanted great Italian food I'd make the trek across the harbor - until now. For authentic Italian restaurant ambiance, then Little Italy is the place. But for amazing Italian food - for very agreeable prices - you can't beat Brendali in Federal Hill.
Visiting our son and daughter-in-law she had heard good reviews, 5 of us went last night we were very fortunate to get a table without a reservation. Service was awesome and each of of had a different dinner (baked ziti, chicken alfredo, shrimp alfredo, sausage/pepper cacciatore and rigatoni black and blue) each was exceptional. I definitely will be back on a return trip east.
Awesome little Italian Restaurant I found by chance from SIri on a trip to Baltimore in June. Superb food, large portions and friendly and attentive wait staff. I went back again yesterday and was not disappointed! Love that it's BYOB! Thanks for a great meal!
Great spot for dinner! Parking is challenging so be prepared to walk. Very small inside so plan accordingly for your visit as to not miss out on the delicious food! We ate around 530 on a rainy Saturday and this hit the spot.
I could tell this place was popular given the constant stream of meal delivery folks coming in for orders. Non stop!
Our dishes were sensational and the service quick. The bread was fresh and the tomatoes were divine.
The food was excellent! It was full of flavor and it tasted fresh. You can tell that the cooks took their time creating this exquisite meal. The waiter was so patient with me and answered any, and every question I had. The owner of the restaurant even took the time to greet me, ask me how the food was, and make sure that I was satisfied with everything. I would definitely come here again and bring my family to try it and recommend it to anyone coming to Baltimore! Many of their orders are pick up, but sitting down and enjohe meal is such a different experience that I would highly recommend. The waiter is very attentive and you never feel neglected even though they had many customers! 10/10 🙂
Omg I still dream about the crab dip!!! Literally the best crab dip I've had EVER & I'm born and raised in Baltimore. The service was great, we didn't have to wait long for our food. The portions and prices were perfect!!! I think that this restaurant is very underrated on that strip. We went on a Friday or Saturday night but there were only two other tables full there, while the other restaurants on that strip were packed.
Everythimg was sooo good and presented very nicely! Can't wait to visit again.
This is comfort food at its finest. Whenever I need a pick me up, the eggplant parmesan has me covered. The crab dip restored my spirits after a long day of dance classes and uni. Truly a 10/10
We had dinner here for the first time. It was around 7:45 pm on a Saturday night and the place was empty, but that didn't deter us. Grabbed the table by the window. Our server was friendly and attentive. Had the Wedding Soup, Caesar Salad, Shrimp Fra Diavolo, Spaghetti Marinara with Meatballs, and Tiramisu. Everything was delicious! They know what they're doing in the kitchen! :) Oh, and it's BYOB, which we had planned for and brought our own wine. We hope to be back soon!
This review is about the food. Our group ordered 3 meals and each was excellent. We ate in the restaurant on a Monday night. Slow in the dining room but tons of delivery drivers coming through. I can understand why so many people are getting deliveries! Excellent food. And very reasonably priced. Only negative was that there was no beer or wine.
Ordered food from here on UberEats while visiting Baltimore for me and a friend. We both loved how the food came out. We both ordered fettuccine Alfredo but with different add ons and were impressed with the quality and amount of food for the money. We also ordered garlic bread which was amazing.
Best pizza I've had outside of NY, it has the best sauce, it has the sweetest, fluffiest, crispiest crust! A personal pie(I think it's a personal, I'm not sure if it's listed as that on the menu) is the PERFECT size, the perfect price, and to be honest, it taste so authentic, unlike a lot of places around here in Baltimore. This is the go to spot, I recommend this as the #1 pizza spot to go to before any other if you are in Baltimore or choose to visit!

This was my first time eating here and it was awesome. My food was hot and packaged well. My chicken and pasta was seasoned .The Alfredo sauce was creamy (not oily). My meal was overall really really good. The quality, the price and flavor were all A1. I will be ordering from them again and will let all my co-workers know all about this place.
Took a chance via delivery and so glad that I did. The tortellini almost brought tears to my eyes, it was so good. I will be returning.
Absolutely love this place. The staff has always been really nice and accommodating and the food is some of the best I've ever had, not to mention probably one of the most reasonable priced places in the city for what you get. My personal favorite is the Tortellini Tre Salao, which was amazing as always and last night my girlfriend got the Lump Crab Ravioli and she was blown away at the amount, size, and quality of the lump cream meat on the fish. Usually the restaurants just sprinkle a little crab in so they can upcharge you several dollars, but you get more than what you pay for here in terms of crab meat. The decor won't blow you away and it does get loud at times when it's busy, but the food makes it 100% worth it.
I love this place because I love really good rich Italian food. If that's your cup of tea too, this is a must try if you're ever in Fed Hill. It's a small dining room usually not crowded when I've gone. They are six for six on all the dishes I've tried. Whatever you order will be tasty, that's my word!
Been here three times and the food is great. One star off because prices charged were different than advertised on the menu! Seems like most of the negative reviews are from the lazy folks who only get delivery. It's Italian food best eaten fresh out of the kitchen and is very good.
Last time ordered take out I was at JH hospital as a patient. Food tasted great. I guess because it beats hospital food. Out of hospital for 2 months decided to go back after a doctor's visit. We ordered meat lasagna, eggplant parmesan, baked ziti and penne pasta with vodka sauce. Dessert carrot cake- delicious and canolis. Disappointed in the canolis because when we placed the order we asked how many were in an order, she said 2. We only received 1 in each order. For 1 canoli to cost $5.95 is a rip off. The food was just ok.
