We were here two nights in a row, this has to be one of the best restaurants I have been to in years! We had the luna lobster, shrimp scampi, escargot, calamari, ribeye and several different drinks. All was not only prepared perfectly but, the whole staff was awesome! Tony the owner greeted and seated us and we had great contact and conversation with just about every member of the crew! This is the perfect place for a great meal and conversation, very comfortable...
Thank you Tony, Melissa and everyone at Luna!
Excellent steak. Excellent staff. Excellent atmosphere. I ordered the ribeye done medium. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly by chef Carlos. One of the best steaks I've had. If I ever return to Baltimore I'll definitely eat here again
Here for Otakon. This place was amazing, great food and the staff was so nice and attentive. Would definitely recommend this place and really enjoyed the atmosphere.

This place was amazing good food the crab cakes are top die for
Go here every year for the crab cakes which are made fresh everyday. The owner comes and greats you personally and he is very observant with staff, directing them to get water to the tables, wants to know how your experience was.

We were greeted by a fantastic/friendly staff. The entire restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere.
My husband and I really enjoyed our entire experience!! Thank you to all your kind staff! I Would highly recommend this location.
We ate there twice after trade Show Tony the owner is affable and he has a great staff cheerful and willing to please..
The Food is truly the best. Seafood and steaks are all top quality fresh. Inspirational dishes with Flair.. The restaurant is across from the convention Center.. half block from Hilton on Pratt St.. You Wont be disappointed..
Mr T puts out a great menu.....perhaps one of the finest in Maryland...I have enjoyed a great deal of his items ....excellent service and great kitchen people...enjoy a win win win,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
This place is great!. Luna Del Sea was great.
They helped me host a baby shower for my sister in their private room and everything went well. The food was good and well-priced. The service was personable. This is a great venue to work with. Look forward to coming back.
Luna del sea steak and seafood bistro. Fabulous, not crowded, not noisy, great service, friendly, great food, omg, felt like a celebrity, food cooked to perfection. manager was awesome. worth every penny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great food, great service. The crabcakes were out of this world! Would definitely recommend this place!
Wow! Been coming here for years!!! Best Crab Cakes I ever had!!!
I sat at the bar, service was EXCELLENT. Drinks were very well made and bartender was very pleasant, black angus cheeseburger was very well prepared and HOT, servers were very pleasant. I will be back once a week. Great place
Nice sandwiches and cocktails near convention center and an option to the Pratt st. tavern which is always crowded during trade shows. Portions are small ... I had a chicken salad sandwich which was very good otherwise. Easy, 3 minute walk from the convention center. Street side tables during a nicer weather.
I would have to say that the food was great (seafood trio) and it was an pleasant experience
We Recommend this restaurant. On 8/11/12, my husband & I were celebrating our 33rd Anniversary. We had called about a week before to make our reservations. The guy (David) who took the phone call switched with another guy just so he could wait on us! They had a bottle of Champagne waiting for us. The food was excellent! We went back on 8/29/12 and the owner remembered us! This time we split a meal and it was more than enough for both of us!
Awesome!!!. The wait staff was friendly and informative!! Fabulous food!! Thank you for the great experience!!!
Provided a shuttle. These crab cakes are the best in town. The owner greeted us at the door and even had a conversation at the table for a few minutes with us. Not many places do that now a days. They even offer you a shuttle back and forth to your hotel. it makes it easy to have a nice meal when you don't know your way around.
Crab cakes. First visit to this establishment and enjoyed the ambiance. Will return
Enjoyed Our Meal. Enjoyable atmosphere, looking around the staff knew many of the customers. Service was great and we really enjoyed our meal.
Absolutely unbelievable!! I had the Luna sea bisque. Lobster base with seafood. I've craved it since i left. Crab cake was the size of a softball All lump crab meat. The oysters rockefeller had seafood and so hughe it could have been a meal. Oysters in the half were plump hughe and god bless the chesapeak bay, no need for any of that fuss of foreign oysters. I had the best german Choc cake on the world. I took it to go. It was room temp, fresh and so buttery and rich I went back the next day before I left town for soup and a dessert to go. Now you go...you won't be disappointed! ! Go!
Customer Focused. Dennis was awesome! Very attentive, customer focused and friendly.
Fantastic. Jim was incredibly attentive and the shrimp scampi was fantastic!
Waiter was very nice and friendly. I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. My first time here and I will be back. Excellent service from the waiter for my birthday. Thank you Kevin.
Great service and lovely food. Please keep the Maryland Crab soup on the menu forever! It is that good.
Great!. Jim was very good! The food was very tasty and I will definitely be back with friends and family any chance I get!!
Better than you would think from these reviews. Down in Baltimore with a group of 13 that travelled from all over, and the organizer had this rest. picked based on a recommendation from the Marriott Inner Harbor at Camden Yards. We are a group used to eating well when together and the reviews suggested we would not be happy.
Our coordinator (who brings tremendous amount of group business to MArriotts all over)reviewed the reviews with the Concierge and let him know we could not understand the pick. Concierge actually went to Luna to let him know our fears and expectations, as well as the report book would affect future referals. The concierge went a second time, to introduce us to the manager. Stakes were very high for the restaurant. On to the review.
Setting - It was game night and game had started. Rest was pretty empty and we were led through to a back room which could hold many more people but tonight was just hours. Very comfortable, brick walls, a painting of whos who in baltimore history, wine racks, and some hookas. Lighting was mainly from large chandeliers, quite nice.
Wait staff, was impeccable, polite, helpful and hospitable. Very pleasant throughout the whole evening. Appetizers were described and orders taken. Appetizers were brought out and dinner orders taken (as we requested). Appetizers came in with about a 10 -12 minute spread. A bit long.
I had the Seafood Bisque with shrimp and scallops. One of the best bisques I have ever had, maybe second only to Mortons' Lobster Bisque. I can say no more about this wonderful soup. From a service perspective, spoons were delvered shortly after the soup leading me to want to ask the waiter to taste the soup. Service would have been up a notch if the proper eating utensils were laid out while the appetizers were being prepared. One friend had clams casino which were perferct and there were various appetizers enjoyed throughout our group. One colleague had a shrimp cocktail that did not smell quite right. Sent it back and it was replaced about 7 minutes later. Another colleague ordered a stuffed portobello. Unfortunately friend is a vegetarian and we do not think it mentions that on the menu. Should have taken for granted there would be crab meat. Only other faux pax on apps is that some people received salads before their entrees.
On to the entrees, starting with mine, of course. I am old and have eaten italian food everywhere. My Chicken francaise was on par with the best I ever had anywhere, end of story. chicken was sliced thin and pounded. Dredged in egg with light seasoned breadcrumbs and fried in olive oil hot enough to crisp the breadcrumbs in same time it took to cook the chicken so it was still soft and flavorful. The lemon sauce was better than any I ever made, and cannot remember it's match. I was not interested in the side potato or vegetables and ordered a side of Linguine Alfredo which was tasty.
Around the table people had various pasta and seafood dishes along with a few steak and seafood combos.. Steak reported as good. grilled seafood in general ok to good, crabcakes as absolutely wonderful.
Expectation and style can be everything. one of our diners, eating lots of stuff parmigianed over the years, had ordered the shrimp parm over pasta. lots of NY, NJ and CT people at the table and we all would have expected the shrimp to have been breaded and fried, possibly butterflied. To us, the only style of shrimp parm. Shrimp were not breaded and fried, may have been boiled or broiled without seasoning, covered with a very thin, translucent melted cheese, and placed on the pasta with tomato sauce. Report is the shrimp were not tasty or appetizing which I would chalk up to style expectations as the diner said the sauce and pasta was delicious, and he ate all of that. None of us would recommend ordering the shrimp parmigian.
From a service perspective, wait staff was again excellent, friendly and helpful. Entrees were brought out very quickly and many were served before there was time to finish the appetizers and salads. Can be chocked up to appetizers coming out over a long time period and an eagerness to please us from a time perspective. A mild inconvenience at worst.
Desserts, about 9 cheesecakes, were offered as display and described to the diners by the waiter, who managed to remember which were which, a very tough job. Dessert and coffe/cordial order taken and delivered. I had asked for a hot chocolate and waiter suggested Baileys. He was right so far so I agreed. One of the best hot chocolates I did not make.
Soup to nuts, as the saying goes, without tip, came to $1103 with the wine and drinks.
Have to tell you as a group spending time together, we could have been eating chicken at Roys and Popeyes and we would have had a great time.
Our food and service was top notch though not perfect, but very rare indeed do we get perfection (Gramercy Tavern did hit that mark in spades). We had a wonderful evening and based on our experience, we would recommend a visit.
When making plans, remember, this was an empty restaurant with few if any other diners. Did not see any when we went in (unless they were eating dinner on the outside patio where there were certainly people drinking) or on the way out. I would try this place on an evening you can expect to avoid a crowd. If you do that, I expect you will have a wonderful dining experience.

Simply the Best. Great food, Fantastic atmosphere, Best spot in Baltimore hands down!!!
Baltimore's Best Resturant. Great venue, Great atmosphere, exceptional service, and unmatched food quality... Luna Del Sea's elegant setting is the perfect place to bring potential clients, family, or great meal before the O's games!!
Love it.. Luna is a Baltimore staple with a great atmosphere and amazing food. Try their house bisque and you won't be disappointed. Go here during an O's home game and you're bound to have a great time!
More than just a place to eat.. Luna Del Sea offers an elegant setting to enjoy a finely cooked meal while experiencing a family environment. Every time we go to Luna Del Sea we feel at home because of their personable staff who take the time to get to know and appreciate their customers. When we want to impress family or any company we have, we take them to Luna. Experience the total dining package, great food, great fun, great service...Luna Del Sea.
Food was pretty good. I had the crab cakes, but it was a little pricey. The crab cakes lacked a little cake, but had plenty of crab meat. It lacked a little seasoning as well, but was really worth trying.
Baltimore's best place. Great food. Great place. Great location in downtown baltimore.
Wonderful time, and the food is outstanding!. Food was awesome after a long day at the game. Sat back and had some cold beers with my friends, then went on to tour the rest of Baltimore. Great evening at Luna Del Sea!
The best service in town.. Luna Del Sea Bistro is hands-down one of my favorite restaurants in Baltimore! The food there is fantastic. I recommend anything from the seafood list, but there are so many other menu options as well! The servers are the friendliest I've encountered in my years in Baltimore and the location is so convenient - right across from Camden Yards and so close to the inner harbor. Also, at night, Luna Del Sea is a really fun bar to visit - great music, indoor AND outdoor sections, awesome bartenders, and fun people to meet.
If Bistro, Bravo. Small, cozy, friendly atmosphere, excellent service, engaging staff and quality food rise to the top of an experience at Luna Del Sea. Best experienced with a full set of courses, time to enjoy, a full wallet, and a glass of wine - outdoors in the Summer, maybe with a night game at Camden Yards.
All Crab No Cake. I travel to Baltimore a lot on business and came upon this gem. I have been known to eat nothing but crab cakes during my visit and even OD once. But dinner here tonight was a real treat. Pretty good cream of crab soup. I ordered the Seafood trio (Broiled Crab cake, shrimp and Scallops) the shrimp and Scallops could not hold a candle to the fantastic crab cake. Next time I would skip the trio and go all crab cake. Perfectly Broiled (never fry) and the right amount of seasoning.
Food was good but was more than $$$ rating. Dessert W A Y over-priced ($9 for a slice of cheese cake?!) Service started off great went down hill as evening progressed. They really should play up the fact that they have a free shuttle service from any hotel to their place and back again.
Some of the crab cakes ever! Great atmosphere. Great service. I'm so glad we were sent here rather than the big chain restaurant where we were headed.
On this particularly cool day we elected to sit outside on the side patio, where one is impressively ensconced in a near bubble of peace from the bustling traffic on Pratt St., which is intriguing in it's own right as it was rush hour AND the local ballers, The Orioles , were tearing tickets not one street down for their evening
I must say first off that this place is very cute. It's set up elegantly, comfortable seating, the ballroom has a gorgeous mural on the wall. Right away we felt at home there. We were one of two tables in the place so it was nice and quiet.
Great restaurant! I've been there twice and I have 2 favorites, 1. Cajun Salmon and 2. Cajun chicken and shrimp with the butter sauce with broccoli and I added onions. The butter sauce was amazing very light but full of flavor not salty. I haven't gotten used to the routine taking a picture before I start eating. I've been twice this month for this same dish.
We were in town for our Anniversary weekend and went to Luna Del Sea first day for lunch . Delicious food and drinks! So good we came back the next day for our Anniversary dinner! Everything was amazing again ! Everyone from the owner to the servers and bartenders were so nice and service was great! Will definitely be back and highly recommend! **** The cheesecake was TO DIE FOR!!
Let me start by saying it's pricey... BUT, very much worth it. There was no hostess when we went and it was a bit packed (Old Dominion was playing around the corner) so that was a bit disorganized however one on the "busser" older guy in an Orioles jersey walked us back to a table cleaned it all up and we were seated in less than 10. The waitress was a tall cute girl with an adorable accent super sweet and attentive considering it was busy for a small spot. Food was very good. Started with lobster balls and a cream of crab soup. They were exactly what you would expect. The seafood Newburg was sweet n creamy and the scallops specifically were cooked perfect. Wife got the trio. Crab Cake shrimp n scallops. Pretty big crab cake and the shrimp n scallops were in a very creamy rich butter garlic. A Luna punch, and jack honey mule to drink bothe were good. Now the down sides. gratuity was included at 20% (đź‘Ž) not that service wasn't good just not a fan of that practice. I also have 10$ cause the Orioles shirt guy was super helpful n cool. Even said so in a note on the tab. And paper napkins. I'm spending $200+ on steak or seafood give me a real napkin lol. Would go again!

Mamma Luna is amazing. Shes good at giving good recommendations, she treated us with respect, was extremely nice, food was amazing, cannot recommend it more than I am doing right now. Chicken Alfredo blackened…. Not in the menu. Definitely recommended though. Please, try it! Thank you for the good food, good time, good service.
Walked from our hotel and decided to stop here for dinner. It was a beautiful night to eat outside. Enjoyed the special which was a crab cake sandwich with cole slaw and my husband had the grilled chicken with greens beans and carrots. Tim was our waiter and was excellent! Very friendly and courteous and recommended the special to me.
We had a group of 12 for dinner there on 10/8. This was also the day of an Orioles playoff game so every place near the stadium was very busy, including Luna. Regardless, service was excellent. Food preparation was impressive in that we received our tasty and plentiful food almost simultaneously. Many of us ordered the Seafood Trio, which included a crab cake the size of a baseball, shrimp, scallops and a side. Kudos to Tony, Scott, and our waitress!
From the time we arrived for an early lunch until we left,, the experience couldn’t have gone better…
We are from Long Island and have MANY seafood places, however the large oysters here would have been rated very high up with our best.
However,,,, the entree of Broiled seafood trio of shrimp, scallops, and crab cake was excellent. The best crab cake I have ever eaten in my 78 years…
BUT,,,,,,,,, what was really outstanding was,,,,,, Linwood,, our server.
He was very pleasant and equally as attentive…. Also, he makes a great Margarita on the rocks.🥳
Thank you Linwood,,,, Gary
Great service at the bar. The bartenders provided excellent service and provided a great recommendation for dinner, too.
We had lunch at Luna Del Sea before a Sunday Orioles game. The restaurant is a few blocks from Camden Yards. The food was very good. My wife had a crab cake that was good along with homemade cole slaw which was excellent. I had the Shrimp Po Boy which was excellent! It came with house fries that were seasoned perfectly and presented in a little basket which was really cool. The service was top shelf. Linwood Fulton worked hard and he was incredibly nice and helpful - certainly one of the reasons we will be back. The decor was well done and climate was very comfortable on a hot day.
Great crab cakes and food. Loved our waitress (Breezy)- super informative, prompt, and professional. Highly recommend!
We went to Luna for lunch on Monday while visiting Baltimore for the long weekend. My tuna salad sandwich was good but a bit on the salty side and the creamy crab soup was very (too) rich; however, we were especially impressed with our server, Linwood. He was doing everything by himself, bartending, opening the restaurant, serving, etc. Not only that but he seemed to have pride in the restaurant and certain enthusiasm. So I thought that he owned the restaurant and asked if he was the owner. When he said he wasn’t I said his employer was very lucky to have someone like him.

Amazing place. We came here last minute and they seated us right away on a Saturday night. First look you get a little skeptical but it sure was delicious! Tim was our waiter and he was so friendly and nice. His recommendations were spot on. We had the oysters, Luna wings, fried combo, and lasagna. The worst va were absolutely delicious, sauce was so good we bought a bottle to go. Everything else was awesome. Would definitely come back!
Came for dinner before a show at the Hippodrome, and were very lucky to get Breezy (the bartender) as our server. She was attentive, informative, friendly, timely, and took extremely good care of us from our wine selection, to getting our food out expediently....and her recommendation of the Pumpkin Cheesecake was spot on.
Walking distance from hotel and was cool spot for lunch. Crab cake sandwich was tasty! Staff was really friendly and chatting sports with Linwood was fun. Patio looked like great place to grab a drink and food too.
Ask for Linwood, great with food recommendations and a nice server. Had the Cajun Combo, Blackend seafood Trio, Luna wings, and Island Strong drink.
Overall the food was good. The shrimp and crab cake was delicious. Alfredo seafood platter was a good value. Blackened Catfish was good, but salty.
