We got there early for Saturday morning breakfast, and were lucky to do so - it filled up fast. My wife went the savory route w/ the chicken and biscuit platter, while I went sweet with the berry French toast. Both were excellent, and the staff was very accommodating with our baby boy in attendance. Great spot, great food.
Delicious, with vegan options, and our waitress was very attentive to food allergies/sensitivities in our crew, and clearly new the menu/ingredients very well. Super-cozy, warm, inviting, a small, intimate space that filled quickly, so I'd recommend reservations. I can't wait to go again!

The food is amazing. The staff is amazing. The owner is amazing. I have never left a plate unfinished. I highly recommend Silver Queen. Brunch or Dinner you will not be disappointed!
This is a small cozy, not loud venue with a great menu. A very friendly staff and the chef himself served our dinner. The menu is not 100 choices, but rather a neat one page offering of very delicious choices. Family friendly and friendly all around.
Had dinner at Silver Queen for the first time tonight. Food was awesome & the service great. We’ll definitely be back!! Highly recommend the fried chicken; hubby had the cheese pizza.
Hosted a private birthday dinner for 22 people. Half kids and half adults. The food was delicious and came out quick. Pizza for kids, salad, veggies, fish and chicken for adults. And that cake to end it all was the bomb. Thanks so much to Chef and staff for a great night!
Excellent meal and service! Great place to bring a kid, without sufficing quality of food.

I didn't know what to expect since I had never been there before; although we got there 1/2 an hour early; we only waited less than 15 minutes to be seated. The waitress was pleasant and attended to our needs: we were allowed to bring our own bottle
The food was exquisite;the only downside is the menu was somewhat limited
I'll definitely go back and highly recommend it.
I've defintely already posted a review of ,"Silver Queen Cafe". But, facebook is asking for more. Can't say anything negative about this restaurant. Perfect quality ingredients and food and repaired by a knowledgeable and quality chef. I highly recommend it. One of the places, that's still kind of young, that makes me miss Baltimore/Hamilton in general 💜
My husband and I went on a breakfast date and the food was excellent. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere is cozy. I highly recommend the caramel apple french toast! Just delicious!
I love this place!! The food is amazing. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the best of all, my 3 year old loves it too. The kid friendly corner is great.
One of the best experiences weve had in a while...that playroom is the best idea ever!! Food was fresh and tasted incredible!! Lamb meatball pizza was the major highlight, we lived everything about it! Friendly service, homie feel, not pretentious in any way!!! We will mos def be back!!! Oh, and that Peanut Butter Pie!!!!
We had a great experience this past Sunday! My husband and I shared the chorizo cheese fries (topped with a fried egg!) and I had shrimp and grits (amaze balls). My husband got the breakfast burrito, which was delicious! The best part was enjoying a meal together, while our toddler got to play!! It was our first time visiting, and we will definitely be back!!

Very cozy atmosphere. Food is always amazing, whether it’s brunch, lunch or dinner. Service is exceptional. Chef/owner Jason takes his creations very seriously- he always personally checks on his customers to be sure their meals are to their liking!
Very quaint & adorable spot! The fish was crispy, lite, flaky & very flavorful. Just know it’s a small space so prepare to eat & leave to make room for others. You’ve got the try this place!
This is in my opinion the best brunch in Baltimore. The shrimp, grits, and green is my favorite. The hangover hash is so good too! Drinks are strong and delicious!

I took my friend for dinner on a Thursday. It was quite and music was wonderful. This place has the best service, and great food. I got this juicy burger and garlic fries. The bun was not the best but the meat was delicious. Also the restaurant is located in one of the best Baltimore neighborhoods :)
We aren’t really brunch people, but Silver Queen Cafe is one of the VERY FEW places we’ll head to for Sunday brunch. The four of us got four different meals and loved them all; I had a hard time not just eating the leftover French toast, but I persevered. Pro tip: make SURE you have a reservation for weekend brunch or YOU WILL NOT GET IN AND YOU WILL BE SAD. It fills up and stays full all day. Tremendous food, terrific service. Truly one of Baltimore’s best, and one of my favorite restaurants anywhere. (I recommend the breakfast burrito or shrimp and grits; if you’re more on the sweet side, the French toast is great, and the fried chicken sandwich was HUGE.)
A place that was in my pocket for a long time and I finally visited. Friendly staff and a home-liked restaurant.
I felt like I didn’t pick the right dish that fit my taste but objectively I knew it was a good dish.
🥓I came for their smoked pork belly Benedict that I saw on their online menu. I thought it would be thick sliced meat but it turned out more like a fried bacon. Still, it was great (poached eggs were at the perfect texture) but nothing special for me. The grit on the side was also normal.
🪄🍍HOWEVER, their rum cake blew my mind! It was really moist in the center with rich taste. Pineapple sauce, whipped cream highlighted the rum taste.
🧈I also had a biscuit to go. It was fluffy and tasted good too.
Would like to go back again and try out other dishes..
The staff who waited on me was really polite and helpful with questions. The music in the cafe was interesting without being intrusive, and I even found a few new favorites. There was only one other party when I went in so the quiet was appreciated.
The only reason I give the food a 4 not a 5 was because I really think they have the potential to be mind-blowing if they tune in their flavors a little bit. The carrot chickpea dip starts showing flavor only after you eat a lot of it. That makes it perfect for snacking without getting bored of the taste but I feel like its not the best dish as an appetizer. Just a tiny bit of maybe pink salt or more of a deep carrot flavor or a little more spice can make this seriously amazing. The house tortilla chips are seriously awesome - crispy and when you chew into it somehow soft and doesn't hurt your mouth with sharp corners. The same with the crostinis - nice thin slices to bite into and not pieces of baked cardboard. Great job there!
And OMG, the mushroom Wellington is the first time I have tried the dish and it has set my standards high. It's all that I would expect from the dish - buttery and flaky pastry that cuts right through, a grounded mushroom filling between two more solid mushroom steaks that gives it good texture and hold the piece together, the salad greens that balances the deep meaty mushroom with it's freshness and the balsamic sauce that is sweet and cuts through the mushroom's flavor. I am normally very wary of dishes that substitute the meat to make a vegetarian version but this one was every bit its own dish. The only change I'd have liked personally is for the acidic vinegar to show up a little more in the drizzled sauce but this is perfect in its own sweet way.
High quality and prepared exactly as requested. As a criminally picky eater I am well used to having my order arrive without regard to request for 'well done' etc. Especially breakfast. Here they cooked exactly as I wanted despite numerous modifications. I can see why the place is so busy yet servers bustling with urgency and attention and apologies for the wait. This independent cafe is well run and well managed and deserves the steady business they've developed. Wish they were closer to my neighborhood.
Excellent food, atmosphere and service!!! A hidden gem. The smoked good grits were delicious! They were able to substitute the greens for spinach in the shrimp
and grits for me. Kierin was a wonderful host and server. Very attentive.
You can never go wrong eating at Silver queen Cafe. Whether you’re thinking lunch, brunch or dinner, you are in luck. Everything on their menu is worth trying! I tried the blueberry French toast with a side of home fries… and let me tell you.. it was AMAZING! My friend ordered the seafood omelette, which she loved. If you’re considering trying this place, don’t hesitate. Do it! Everything on the menu is a 10
The combination prospects were incredible and decedent. I will be honest, the bacon cheddar pancakes were good, but there was bit too much baking soda in the pancakes. You could taste it and it drank the syrup, they were a bit dry after 2 servings of syrup.
The apple crumble on the French toast was amazing and could have paired well with the bacon cheddar pancakes. I also think if they did a beer batter pancake with the bacon cheddar, that would alleviate that issue, make them fluffier and the flavors pop. That's my personal 2 cents.
Excellent staff. The chef really cares about the experience, as well as the rest of the staff. Wonderful atmosphere.
