Delicious Nepali authentic taste. Unlike many restaurants that call themselves to have Nepali food but had Indian style cooking, this restaurant provides authentic Nepali taste with less oils and butter. Buffet is way better than many restaurants around. Ambience is good with Nepali arts on the walls and Nepali instrumentals. Clean and peaceful environment. Staffs are helpful.

The best food to have here is the momos. We did takeout and also tried the onion pakoda and chili fries. They both were good but do tend to get a bit soggy in transit.

Enjoyed their mid-day buffet. Plenty of food items, all of which were tasty. We were seated quickly. Our server sometimes was hard to find but overall attentive when we could get a hold of her. Pricing is good. Would recommend and will definitely return.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nepal House Restaurant, and I must say it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. The food was undoubtedly the highlight of the evening. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, bursting with authentic Nepali flavors that left my taste buds dancing with delight. The attention to detail in preparation and presentation was evident, making every bite a joy. The restaurant's atmosphere played a significant role in setting the perfect mood for the evening. The decor exuded a warm and inviting ambiance that made me feel right at home. Whether you're seeking a cozy dinner for two or a gathering with friends and family, Nepal House provides the ideal backdrop for a memorable meal. What truly sets Nepal House apart, though, is its exceptional staff. The team here goes above and beyond to ensure that every guest has a fantastic experience. Their friendliness, attentiveness, and knowledge of the menu were truly commendable. It's rare to find a restaurant where the staff's genuine hospitality enhances the dining experience so significantly. In summary, Nepal House Restaurant is a gem that combines delectable food, a welcoming atmosphere, and a staff that goes the extra mile to make your visit special. I can't recommend it highly enough and will definitely be returning for more of their fantastic cuisine and warm hospitality. A big thank you to the Nepal House team for an unforgettable evening!

The buffet is back! And goes 11am - 230 on Monday, Wednesday through Friday and from 11:30am to 3pm on Saturday and Sunday. Perfect for what we wanted. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Been here for dinner and lunch on many occasions and it's a great match for us.

Ordered: saag paneer, butter chicken, momos, onion naan, Kashmiri naan, one of the Nepalese dishes I forgot the name of Pretty solid place if you want the “Indian restaurant” experience. All curries were flavored richly and everything was seasoned generously. Portions were standard, if not a little small, but the price was worth the delicious meal. Would have been 5 stars if we didn’t have to wait a good 30-40 mins for food, even though we were one of two parties in the entire restaurant! We came for dinner but I suspect this would be one of my favorite places if I came for the buffet — I just eat a lot. 8

Came in on a Saturday to try the buffet and wow that was a great decision. Super clean, well displayed food with lots of delicious options. $17 for that whole buffet?? Like wow. Would absolutely come back. Do yourself a favor and go.

One of the best-value Indian lunch buffet options (+) Attentive, fair & patient service, lower cost (13$ a person for weekday lunch) for a decent variety of entree options before adding the fact the weekday buffet includes masala chai, 2 dessert options and basic fruits, soup and 3 types of bread (including the typical buffet complimentary naan). Saag dish was brighter/lighter color green and tasted good, either using more cream or cooking the spinach for a shorter time to let the flavor shine through. Masala chai has sweet/unsweet options & tastes just as good as some coffee shop’s, the creaminess & sweetness helping cut/complement the strong spiced tea flavor for 1st time masala chai drinkers. (-) Only caveats are some dishes. All of the sauces/entrees have good seasonings. Unlike any other Indian buffets,’ the gulab jamun here tasted like it wasn’t freshly made (inside color was darker compared to the light yellow-white color other places’ has, had less of the desired creamy/cheesy flavor, and was overly saturated with the sweet syrup) which was a shame. Overall, I’d come back to this place to try the new buffet dishes other reviews suggest. If you don’t feel like sitting down for the tea & service, you can still stop by & pick out food from the weekday buffet to fill a small lunchbox for 15$. Great for tasting a wider variety of Indian dishes with a smaller but quality staff.

Lunch buffet here is fantastic. Tons of options and definitely left full. Loved the Chana chat and hot chicken. Added the tamarind and mint sauce to the vegetable pakora was wonderful. The chai looked and smelled delicious (I can’t eat dairy). Tons of seating so don’t be worried by the tiny exterior.

When I was in India I never taste Nepali cuisine apart from Momo and my urge to try nepali cuisine increased after seeing several reels in instagram by Nepali cook.. So I planned to visit this place for lunch buffet, it was good, food were also tasty but it was more of like Indian food , I was expecting more of authentic nepali homecooked meals however I loved their Momos that was not part of the buffet we ordered it separately and another thing if you happen to visit here do not forget to try their Masala tea

Nepal House is amazing! It’s certainly a great place to enjoy authentic Nepali, Indian and Himalayan cuisine. I can’t say enough about this restaurant. When dining, I always look for many things, with the following being the top three; Friendly and knowledgeable staff, delicious food, and creative or authentic selections. The owners (Prem and wife) and staff work hard to offer the best food in a very welcoming and cheerful environment. Owners and staff are very friendly and always walk around to engage customers in a quick conversation. They even go to the extent of knowing some of their customers by name. I was rather impressed by this. The food is amazing and always on point. Well done, Nepal House, you’re certainly a great asset to Baltimore.

Many reviews mention the bountiful and aromatic lunch buffet, but Nepal House is also one of my favorite places for celebratory dinners with friends! The interior is well-lit, inviting, and perfect for both causal-friend meet-ups, intimate dates, or business dinners. On a nice day, you can walk by the restaurant and smell the food from across the street! The menu is larger, with many dishes having options for vegetarian, chicken, seafood (varying types), or beef/lamb. Lots of delicious curries, rice dishes, marinated and saucy meats, cooked vegetables, and appetizers galore! I am a fan of their Momo (steamed or fried!), Samosas, Saag Paneer and Alu Gobi (spicy)! They make their own paneer in-house, and everything is spiced to perfection. Everything is served beautifully with their own warmers to keep the food hot and fresh. Basmati rice is always seasoned and fluffy, easy to scoop up with my utensils and serve as a vessel for the incredible dishes. If you're newer to this type of food, don't be intimidated by the names and flavor profiles. The menu on-site and online has descriptions of everything, and know that if you like warm and earthy food that gives you a hug from the inside-out, then try it out! "Entry-level" dishes like the biriyani, tikka marsala, or butter chicken are nice to help introduce you to the cooking techniques and flavors.

Got the eggplant dish. Good flavor but quite acidic. Naan was delivered fresh from the oven with a shiny glaze of butter. The lamb dumplings were my favorite.

We stop at this resturant when we are around Baltimore or passing by. This place is clean with Nepali vibes. The owner and staffs are fabulous. Their food is awesome too. I love their buffet but due to covid they are not doing it right now which is sad. I don’t have any complaints so far but just a suggestion - “Thakali thali” nowhere feels like Nepali food. Only “greens” was good in the entire plate. Veg Curry and chicken curry we got were with Indian masala and flavor. Was disappointed because the veg curry was made out of frozen mix vegetables with carrots and corns. I love this place because of their food but I am only disappointed with thakali thali that I got. Although expensive, food is always best here but thakali thali is no where near Nepali taste for the amount we pay. We could have gotten an Indian chicken dish instead for paying for thakali thali. I hope you guys will make changes to the dish.
