I once asked a Latin teacher how he took his coffee. He responded in a loud, booming voice, "I like my coffee the same way I like I like my women...hot!" Koffee Therapy Cafe is a cute little coffee (or is it koffee?) shop near downtown Baltimore. They are a small, family operation with a great coffee (koffee) selection, and what appeared to be delicious, assorted pastries. The environment is thoughtfully laid out with traditional, unmatched, but comfortable furniture that you'd expect from a small coffee (I'm sticking with coffee) shop similar to this. I was only there for an hour or so one morning, but I gathered the feeling that this is the kind of place where the owners get to know your name. It's a friendly little spot with good coffee. I had an Americano, and I was not disappointed. I'm not sure how to expand upon that beyond the fact that it had a rich roasted flavor and was super hot!
Very cute coffee shop with very friendly staff. The coffee tastes really good much better than Starbucks and way cheaper. The cappuccino is really good!
Coffee just the way I like it - the staff is super friendly and patient ! Been to a lot of coffee joints around the world but this is a must go for people who love good coffee and a nice homely ambience!!!
Fair-Trade Organic coffee, tranquil outdoor seating space, Ethiopian specials on the lunch menu. Perfect place for business meetings, breakfast, lunch, drama free hangout spot.
I love this place. They had great food and delicious desserts. They gave an absolutely amazing vibe to the place.Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Awesome food and coffee, chill atmosphere with natural lighting and jazz music, along with cozy seating options. Solid cafe.
Very cozy and homey cafe - great place for a quiet cup of coffee.
Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere
Fantastic coffee and excellent pastries! I had the honey walnut and it wasn't too sweet. My mocha was very delicious and the place itself is very cozy. It was a very nice stop on a cold day!
Great little coffee shop/cafe. About 8 tables inside (varied in shape, and with a variety of chairs, but a good height for working), and a bunch more in a courtyard outback. Also several couches. Plenty of outlets. Free wi-fi with password. Hardwood floors, classic painted metal ceiling, local art on walls. Jazz on at low volume. I was there much of a Tuesday afternoon and it was nowhere near full at any point. Small collection of high quality pastries, and similarly a small but high quality lunch menu. Excellent selection of teas, some bagged, some loose leaf. They make their own chai, which is quite good and not too sweet. (Could be a little spicier.) Proprietor a friendly guy.
Friendly owner took good care of us after our visit to the Walters. Enjoyed a delicious grilled chicken salad and veggie sandwich (+ bacon!). Look up to admire interior details of the historic building.
I would’t say this is the best coffee in Baltimore, but damn. I am so impressed with the work ethic and authenticity of this place. I went with a friend of mine from work (hospitality), and there was only one person working the shop. It wasn’t busy by any means, but she was taking orders, making drinks, and cooking the food. Nothing came out of wrappers or cans. It was a sight to behold. She took our order, crafted our drinks, made pleasant conversation with the next customer waiting for their order to be taken (until she could return to take it), handed us our drinks, took the next person’s order, started making our food, made another drink, took another order, finished up our food, made another drink, etc. Her pace and attitude was enviable, and I found myself respecting her quite a bit. Would go again.

To keep it fair I always order an almond Capp. It was quite delicious, and came in a giant glass which I can appreciate. The atmosphere is nice, very art themed and comfortable. It's also located in my person favorite part of the city. Stop in here and get you a cup.
Huge double expresso and very good soy hot chocolate and tastefully swaetened walnut bun. Lovely place only minus was that they used a poor blend of expresso and pulled it too long.
Never got to see the outside of the downstairs but looks like it would be nice in the summer.
By far the best coffee shop I've been to in a very, very long time. Cappuccinos with a good friend, in a perfectly lit room with a warm, crackling fire was the epitome of therapy to me.
I will surely be back.
This has become my fav coffee spot in Baltimore, HANDS DOWN. My usual drink of choice is called a "Shock Therapy"- and it lives up to its name. The coffee here is very smooth and strong, and expertly prepared. Once summer has set it, do yourself a favor and go enjoy your coffee in the outside garden in the back.
I tried this place today. A new spot to have tea and work on my book. But as soon as I sat down with my tea and opened my laptop. They opened the front door. It's got extremely cold, extremely fast. I decided to just leave. Other than that it was ok.
This coffee shop is a Mt Vernon neighborhood gem. The owner, Rick, knows how to serve up a good cappuccino and macchiato. It's a nice lunch alternative serving up some good specialty sandwiches.
Very quaint little coffee shop in the down town area of Baltimore. I am an Army soldier waiting for a co worker in surgery. Instead of waiting in Hospital, I Googled local coffee shops. Ended up here and am glad I did. A peaceful environment, typical coffee shop with nice people around having discussions about little things in life. Didn't try anything but a caramel latte...And it blew away any Starbucks or Dunkin latte's I've had. Very good. Free WiFi, was able to sit for a couple hours on my computer sipping coffee without being bothered...exactly what i like.
