This restaurant is more accurately a bar. Good food but the portion size is comical small I ordered two tacos but the tortillas were smaller than a cocktail napkin. Smaller than small-plate size. The server did a good job and was friendly and quick. Two taco and a mixed drink was $24 with a tip. Overall deduction of two stars for portion size and price but plus one for a great server.

To be clear, this rating is inflated because it's AIRPORT FOOD, which will always be more expensive and never really that great. SKIP: - "Horchata" which was incredibly weak and was cloudy water with a sprinkle of cinnamon. - Red sangria tasted super weird, not sure what was in it. ORDER: -Carnitas: pork was tender and juicy. The mangos added a nice touch and weren't under ripe. - Carne Asada meat was overcooked, but when you took a bite with all the other ingredients, it was great. - Cod tacos were okay

Friendly bartenders, quick service, yummy food, reasonable price for food and drinks at the airport. I liked that the bar had outlet plugs for USB and AC Outlet at almost every other seat so you can charge up while you wait for your flight. There is quite a few televisions if you are looking to entertain yourself as well. There is quite a selection of food and drinks. I ordered the crispy cojita taco and was not disappointed. The pickled carrots with the dried cheese was a great balance. Located by gate D25.

Pretty much what you’d expect. Above average Mexican food & average airport restaurant service. The 2 highlights are the amount of TVs they have and they have Pacifico.

I am not easily impressed with airport restaurants. However, La Carnita and more specifically, Heather the bartender, was amazing. They were incredibly busy when we arrived. However the manager did everything he could to make sure all patrons had a seat and his staff was supported. Heather was happy and helpful. She made a great drink and had excellent suggestions. We had the Carnitas tacos and they were great! The pickled carrot was a pleasant surprise! We only came here because there is no sky lounge in BWI, yet we are beyond impressed and will return here the next time we travel!

Good beer selection, good food. For airport food, this place is above average. The night I was there they were either way understaffed or poorly managed. A wait to get a table even though there were several empty tables that just needed to be bussed an wiped down. My shrimp tacos were excellent: nice combination of high quality ingredients. Warning: the tacos are tiny. Three felt like a snack instead of a meal. The guacamole was a major disappointment. It was either old or pre-made from a vacuum sealed pouch—no bueno!

Excellent Mexican place in BWI to sit down, order some amazing Churros and tequila and charge your phone while you wait for your flight.

Craving some good tasty food and decided to give this place a try. So glad we did because the service and food was awesome. The manager Mike and our waiter Mike (two different people). I had the burger and my husband had the scorpion wings which o can highly recommend.

Our server, Lexy was one of the nicest servers I have had in a long time! She was very attentive and a deluge to be around. Shakwan was doing various jobs and was also so nice when I spilled a whole cup of hot water. The food was hot off the grill and very tasty.

Seriously such a great place to grab a bite before a flight! Normally sit down places in airports are way over priced but this one is not! You can get a pre-fix meal for $17 that includes a starter (I got chips and guacamole) 2 tacos (I got the chicken and the steak and both were excellent!) and a dessert (I got the churros-YUM!) Margaritas are on point as well! It is the perfect amount of food and all very flavorful. I travel a lot for work and it was refreshing to find this gem! I will be back!

Waiting for our flight to Iceland we wandered BWI looking for somebody to serve us around 10pm. Most places were just closing and didn't care about helping us. Michael M. (manager) at La Carnita asked us what we wanted and while the kitchen was closed, he was happy to get us a few beers and stay open a little later to serve us. He struck up a conversation and shared how much he enjoyed the atmosphere of the company culture. He made the beginning of our vacation EXCELLENT. Thank you!
