Reviews Zhongshan

Zhongshan restaurant was fantastic. There are many fast food Chinese places to eat where you can get your regular panda-express order, but finding anything resembling authentic Chinese food can have you driving our of Baltimore and up to Silver Spring to Oriental East. I was incredibly excited to try any Dim Sum option in baltimore- and this one did not disappoint. Their dumplings, pork buns and leaf wrapped rice were all amazing and a full meal for 2 came to less than 30 dollars. I'll absolutely be a repeat customer.

Really good Chinese food that's not at all greasy. I have only had better in San Francisco. Great flavor, meat that doesn't look barely edible, and great steamed pork buns and steamed dumplings. Best to call in an order and pick up, delivery takes a long time.

Extremely pleased! Food was excellent. Wonton soup was particularly good with plenty of meat and thinner noodles for the wontons and tasty greens (pork pieces would have been nice too though). Spring roll was delicious, albeit a bit greasy. Food had that authentic slightly vinegar flavor that's hard to find--yum. Waitress was almost too nice. Prices were probably a little too high.

I love reading the reviews saying this is the worst Chinese someone has ever had. First off, you're an idiot if you don't realize that this is as authentic as you can get. Secondly, that food you eat is definitely not Chinese. That said, the atmosphere isn't great. The service was fine but nothing spectacular. But honestly the food made up for all of that. I'm definitely going back again.

This place was amazing!! Definitely a spot to try. I was a little skeptical after reading some of the reviews but everything was amazing. The food was super fresh and tasted fantastic. The restaurant is family owned and the woman who made our food and brought it to us was super sweet. You could tell she took pride in her food. We were the only people eating when we went which is a shame. Definitely a gem in the ruff.

Pinapple chicken with shrimp was the bomb. My friends got flank stake with lo main. I'm a butcher and find it hard to find flank stake done very well. All the food was fresh. I also didn't understand any of the negative reviews. If you are into good food with out the high end prices then I suggest you go early. Real flank stake. Real good flank stake

We selected a variety of options including beef lo mein, beef balls, crab rangoons, egg drop soup and sweet rice. They were all delicious and very authentic! Our waitress was very nice and attentive. We will be back again. Thank you!

The only legit dim sum in the city. The decor isn't luxurious, but I'll forgive a lot for decent food. Some dishes can be hit or miss, but it's still great to have options without having to travel far outside the city.

The food feels authentic (as far as I can tell) and is also terrific. Don't listen to the other reviews—the service is rather unpretentious (not a negative in my opinion), but the food is great.

I thought this place was awesome. Really good Chinese food, good price, great atmosphere. I wish this little area was more popular. Hope that this restaurant sticks around for many more years.

This place has dim sum and the food is legit - it is not your cookie cutter Chinese restaurant! I usually go with carry out or delivery.
