Hubby and I stopped in for a quick lunch. We both ended up ordering the same thing, rare roast beef, horseradish cheddar & onion on rye and a whole deli pickle! Heavenly! Everything is so fresh and delicious! There's nothing quite like having a sandwich with all the ingredients sliced as they build it! We picked up a couple of Stewart's bottle soft drinks and even though it was all packed "to go", we decided to stay in and eat. There are about 5 luncheon tables and a high top counter. We enjoyed some nice conversation with the owners and employees during our visit. We even decided to purchase a lb. of their ham salad to take home...highly recommend the ham salad! Glad we stopped by, we'll make it a regular "go to" from now on!
Best hot dogs in Baltimore. Great sausage selection and overall deli counter. Prepared salads are good too. Pretty thorough selection of German packaged goods, pickles, candy, beer, etc. Family run place. A must go to get ready for your cookout or tailgate.
Don't let the simple interior fool you - the deli offerings and sandwiches to order are some of the best around, and the prices are reasonable. Parking can be a challenge at times, but you will be happy with your selections from this long standing business.

This is a nice out of the way place with reasonably priced subs and some German specialties. Also a small German themed grocery section and BW license.
