Crossbar and the staff are excellent, this is a welcomed addition to the line up of bars in the area.
Will become one of our go-to's.

Also, forgot to add, my family made a cake and brought it with them, the Crossbar staff were very helpful in storing the cake and bringing it out as well.

You can walk up & down Cross St in Federal Hill and see bar after bar after bar. And then you get to the middle of the block...a German biergarten!!! Step into Crossbar and you are instantly transported to an indoor Bavarian biergarten. Prost! From the long, communal tables & benches (yes, they really came from Munich!) to the impressive bier & food menu, you have really jumped continents to a destination like none other in Baltimore. Authentic German beers served served in .5L and 1L mugs, perfectly prepared brats and sauerbraten - this place is the real deal. PROST!!!

Very cool German pub in the Fed Hill section of Baltimore
I was there for trivia, but it's on my list to return. Extensive German beer selection. Food was good. All the windows offer so much light, making this a great spot on a sunny winter day. My only complaint was we were in a fest table. They have actual tabels from Oktoberfest. They aren't the most comfortable way to spend 2.5 hours during trivia.
Great vibe and drinks. This is a great place to go with friends or on a date. They have games like connect 4, big jenga, and ping pong. Thereās a lot of seating for groups, some high tables, and seating upstairs. It has a cool beer garden aesthetic. The fan above the main area is refreshing, too.
I've been going here for years. Great place to watch Bayern Munich games with the fan club. Food and service is always top notch. Under 21 ok until a certain time for early soccer matches. Not sure about the cut-off time.
Always a great place to go with friends for late night drinking extravaganzas! You can tell the bartenders have a tough job here with it being so loud and unruly college age folks. Beer is good and the bar food is decent.
My favorite biergarten in Charm City! Awesome open air environment with fun pub games and TVs to watch sports. Also a HEALTHY selection of German beers to satisfy all. My partner has a gluten allergy and she really enjoyed the black cherry cider they had on tap as well.
Fun, relaxed atmosphere, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Beers were great and service was speedy. Big tree in the middle of the inside area was a cool touch. Excited to come again!

I love this place! Food is very flavorful and made fresh upon ordering. I came early once and got to breifly meet the cook on his way in, was a nice fella. Bartenders have always been nice enough and try to make you feel welcome which isn't always the case at places so always refreshing. When I like a place I tend to become loyal especially when it's walking distance from home.
Had a lovely experience both times Iāve visited! The drinks are very fairly priced and the environment is fun!
Oddly enough, many customers who visited this place while I was there ordered Bud Light.
They have a wonderful German beer selection with knowledgeable bartenders!
Try something new or the speak easy upstairs!

Great joint if youāre looking for some German beer. They have a ton of German beer options and also carry some local beers on draft. Bonus is that they carry wine and liquor as well.
The space is huge with both indoors and outdoors seating (hope this stays post covid too!).
Minor quibble is their food isnāt the best and have found myself wanting better food options.
