I had a wonderful experience with the food and staff, not so much by surrounding customers. You really should up the automatic gratuity to at least 20%. Your staff puts up with a lot from customers and they deserve more, because I know 98% of people are not tipping over the automatic 15% added. I believe my waitress's name was Lauren, and I made sure she and the chef got an extra tip on top of the 15% added, simply because what I saw around me( and also she was great!!) ... I don't know why anyone would work there ! Your employees deserve more <3
Our family had excellent service! My son graduated so, we took him to Kobe’s White Marsh to celebrate his accomplishments. The waitress & cook were awesome! We really had A great experience & enjoyed ourselves to the fullest😘😘😘
Amazing food and service. I have been coming to Kobe for years...amazing food and sevice. Top of the line chefs. They give you a performance along with cook absolutly delicious food! The waitresses and waiter's are very courteous and pleasent from start to end!
One of my favorites!. As I scanned other reviews, I was a little confused...
Every experience I've had there was great! I can say the customer service could be better however, (it's not a bad as others are saying) they do not have many waiters/waitresses anyway. I've had everything, it is pricey but well worth it. Chef is at each table entertaining, and the food is great! Sushi/Sashimi eaters, it's also fresh and a good size. Alcoholic beverages are great! (Especially the Long Island Ice Tea) *WARNING* Do not go on the weekend! It's way too busy! I'd suggest to go on the weekday especially Monday or Thursday...
Typical hibachi. Good food, good service/presentation, etc. I personally prefer Benihana over Kobe, but there are no Benihana's near me. Overall, I'd give it a 7 out of 10.
Last night, my wife and myself went to Kobe's for a late night dinner. We called around 815 to make reservations for 9. No problems when we walked in. The hostess walked right back to our grill/table right away. Because it was only the two of us together we had to wait for other people to fill up the area ( 10 people total). Once the cook arrived the fun began. The cook was funny, interactive and very skillful with his cook utensils. The other people at the table where pretty reserved so the cook couldn't do but so much to make it entertaining. He cooked up the food to order. I order the shrimp and scallops and my wife got the salmon. It was pretty good. The portion was very large which was nice also. After the dinner was cooked he preformed some more tricks and thank us and wishes us a great evening. All in all it was a good evening. It going to be even better since I got leftovers for lunch today.
MMMMMM!!!. Such a great trip for my 1st time to a hibatchi restaurant!! :) We had such a great time. Servers were very polite, staff down to earth. I was a lil SHOCKED at the prices. $120.00 for 3 of us to eat.. Food however, WAS GREAT!!! A++++++ Highly recommend!!
Yum-Yum-Yummy!. Steak and Shrimp Guy Here! This place is so good, it is a little costly, but well worth it for all the food you get. Be sure to ask for extra yum-yum sauce and bring a little container with a lid so you can take some home for the leftovers. Note: the chicken is a bit salty, but so good.
I've been to a few Japanese steakhouses and this definitely ranks up there. The salad dressing was the most flavorful I've had same with the soup although it was a little salty for me. Each chef puts on an entertaining show and the food was perfectly cooked and seasoned. It's expensive but it is a lot of food. Enough for two generous meals. I also noticed noodles were included here I have never had them before but they were yummy! My only complaints would be lack of bean sprouts in the veggies ( zucchini, onion, broccoli, mushrooms and carrots) and the timing. The rice was finished wl before the meat and the shrimp appetizer came up after the entrees were mostly plated. Otherwise it was a delicious and entertaining meal I would definitely cone again
I'm not big on Hibachi (all though it is delicious here), but I frequently come to Kobe for the sushi. The sushi is amazing- it's always cold and fresh. They also serve a wide variety of delicious appetizers, that are perfect small bites. The service is always great and the chefs have lots of personality.
A great experience !!. My husband and I went to Kobe on my birthday in October and we had a geat time. The food was great and the price was right for all the food and the show the cook put on for us. I would recommend this restaurant to my family and friends. I can defintly tell you this you will not be leaving Koby hungry.
This place is great!!! It is your typical hibachi grill, but the food is much better than most. Most places fill your plate with sprouts, but Kobe fills it with noodles instead
Loved this place! Went for lunch and everything including the service was wonderful. I will definitely be returning to Kobe.
We were there on a weeknight food was very good the service was friendly the show put on by the chef was okay but not spectacular. If flipping spatulas and elaborate Showmanship on lighting onion volcanoes Etc is important that might be a consideration
Overall experience was good. What really drives the experience is the people you're seated with and the chef. If you've never been to a Hibachi place, then you'll understand once you visit. There's an option to sit at the front of the restaurant with "normal" dining experience or you're seated at the table often times with strangers and a personal chef comes out and prepares the food in front of you as seen in the photos. Unfortunately I didn't get any pics of my finished food because I was HUNGRY and the food was really good. Portion sizes are huge so you'll more than likely take a to go box, unless you're greedy like me and you're determined to finish it all in one sitting. Our chef was pretty chill. Some are over the top with their presentation and interactions. They almost ways do a bit where they toss a piece of cooked shrimp towards you to see if you can catch it in your mouth. I typically opt out because I don't want to look like a dolphin with two left flippers trying to catch it and it miss and it hits me in the eye or something 😫. Anyway, this place was satisfying and I'll probably go back.
Friday night and the restaurant was super crowded. We found a couple of seats at the sushi bar, which made for a perfect experience. The service was excellent, the fish was fresh and delicious, and we didn't have to deal with the raucousness of the hibachi area.
Hey family I finally went to Kobe Japanese Steak & Sushi
The restaurant's nice , clean and customer friendly.
This time we had carry out the meals were good but our salmon was slightly overcook otherwise it was ok
It was a Tuesday at 11am opening time, and I was grateful to get a table all to myself. The Parking for My Tractor-trailer was decent enough, being that it was early enough to take up a lot of car spaces. The food was freshly made in front of me, which is why I love this place. I believe the Chicken and Shrimp Teriyaki was Thirty-five dollars, and after tax and tip, I rounded up to Fifty Dollars. The Food Portion was too much for me to handle.

Great Hibachi restaurants for date night, work gatherings Or friends birthday. They only accept parties of 10 or less so be mindful of that. Other than party restrictions, the food is good and the staff moves pretty swiftly. Chef Sam is pretty cool!
I took my kids for the first time to this foe the experience. The server, Manny, was HORRIBLE!! I had to ask for my wine twice at the beginning, but he remembered every else's beer😒 During the " experience," I had to get up and ask another server for a glass of wine. Surprise, surprise, he's NO WHERE TO BE FOUND!!! After the check was dropped and paid, I wanted to tip the cook and him. SURPRISE! NO WHERE IN SITE!!!. I spoke with the manager and explained my experience, and she said she would talk to him and apologized. I then tried to give him feedback, and that was a waste of time. I politely took his tip and gave it to the other server for tracking him down. All and all great times but wouldn't have him again🫡
Love the experience every time! So much food is served, I always have a plate to take home. Frozen daiquiris very good too
I love Kobe’s Japanese Steak & Seafood. They are always pleasant and know how to make a great experience with cooking for a family. The food and drinks are always on point and they know how to put on a great show. They even toss food in the air to see if you can catch it. My family had a blast. This wasn’t our first visit and definitely won’t be our last. Follow other reviews @ IG: eat_n_critique.
Went to Kobe for my birthday dinner and didn't have a long wait (but it was Sunday). The chef Ian put on a good show. Gave really nice portion sizes, I couldn't even eat all my food. It was a perfect way to end my birthday!
I was pleasantly surprised to to find that though real Kobe beef is not served this place is worth a visit.
The bartender Alley poured a great shot, and the food was plentiful and very tasty.
I was unable to give the place five stars because there is no real Kobe beef (which is awesome) on the menu.
