We spent 5 days in Bar Harbor and loved Havana so much we went here for dinner twice. The Paella was excellent, the Solomillo and Grilled Peach Salad were phenomenal. It’s a fun environment and very efficient. We had the same waitress both times and she was great. We ate a lot of food, but this is the place I will wish I could come back to.

Wow! This is an incredible restaurant and all around was such a nice dinner experience. I wrote on the reservation that we were celebrating a birthday and they had a birthday card sitting on the table for us. We also started with an aperitif that was a small, delicious bite! They brought bread for the table both gluten free and regular. They have dips for the bread that were amazing as well. We got the mushroom egg rolls as a starter which was fantastic. They were super hot but delicious and the sauce complemented really nicely. We tried the vegetable dish, lamb, paella, and lobster moqueca. Every dish was so amazing and flavorful. The paella was my favorite and is one of the best I’ve had (probably the best). They even brought over a small dessert at the end of the night which was a nice touch. The server was very friendly, helpful and nice. All around a really wonderful time at Havana and we’ll definitely go back any time we are in the area! I love that they change their menu with the different months so I would love to come back and try new items.
If you are visiting Bar Harbor you HAVE to eat at Havana. My husband and I always make sure to get a reservation before our trip as they are always busy, but you cannot pass up this restaurant. The service was excellent and professional and the food was absolutely mouth watering! We loved the steak, farm salad, and shrimp and scallops. We also had the velvet chocolate cake for dessert. Thank you Havana for a wonderful meal and experience!
Best meal I have had all vacation and in quite a long time. Everything I had (Buratta salad and mixed grill) was prepared perfectly and tasted amazing... the sauces with each grill item were especially good... the "Maine Mule" was great as well. Loved the outdoor bar and seating area. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in a non-lobster meal in Bar Harbor...
This place is a must when visiting Bar Harbor. It was by far our favorite meal during our stay. The food is fresh and imaginative. It is all organic and sourced locally. The roasted chicken was so juicy and flavorful. It was hard to not want to eat here for every dinner during our stay. If you’re looking for creative flavors and something different than diner food or seafood, make sure to visit Havana. It was such a different experience than the typical food in town.
Great atmosphere. Outstanding food. The farm salad was Cobb salad’s hotter cousin. I scraped every plate I was served. The dessert menu was very creative and the cheesecake was delicious. Cocktails were spirit forward.
Wonderful imaginative food in a beautiful setting. Make certain you schedule reservations as this location is extremely popular with both locals and tourists. We secured a 5:45 time and people were already waiting for a table. By the time we departed the restaurant was packed. Staff handled the big crowd with professional service. We were very impressed.
Five stars.....we have been here a few times and this restaurant never dissapoints. Great atmosphere, great service and the food is excellent. I confidently say this is the best place on the island. We had Lobster with Coconut and Seafood Paella. Let the pictures do the talking. It's pricey...but it's worth every dollar.
Amazing dinner, top 5 favorite stops on our trip. Excellent alcohol / cocktail / wine list to start off, they went the extra mile to give us a card when we said it was our anniversary and brought a glass bottle (Mexican) come for my rum and coke.
Oysters to start was a great choice, homemade a accoutrements. Salads were fresh and delicious. Highly recommend.

Visited Havana (on the right side) and was thoroughly impressed! Staff were outstanding, service was swift, and the food, especially fresh oysters, was top-notch. Drinks were decent. Overall, a memorable dining experience. Highly recommend!
