We went for dinner at around 6:45pm and had to wait 40mins to get a table. Luckily they have a bar area where diners can order drinks while waiting for a table. The drinks aren't good though... Would have given 5 stars if the cocktails weren't so bad. The food more than made up for the sub-par. The Baked Swordfish and Lobster Risotto were both good, but the Baked Salmon was out of this world. Would highly recommend this place, if you have the patience to wait.

- Food was excellent. For appetizers, I highly recommend the homemade potato chips with bacon. Very unique and insanely tasty. Lobster risotto was a large portion and excellent. - Waitresses were highly attentive - Large amount of seating; try to get there before rush hour for patio seating - They do not take reservations, and do close for a portion of the year, but are very accommodating when they are open. Also note that they do have valet. Never been a huge fan of this, but I think you also have the option of parking yourself too.

The food, service, view and ambiance was exceptional! Took my mom here for her birthday on our last night in the cape. We waited about 20 minutes on a Sunday at 7:45p, saw the gorgeous sunset outside, then sat and enjoyed a delicious meal. We ordered the oysters, lobster risotto and seafood pasta (Livorno). Then key lime pie to end it. Wow. It was to die for!!! Wait staff was very nice and attentive. After we hung out by the bar and saw our waitress (Emily!) kill it on the mic! She is an amazing singer. All in all an amazing night, and one never to forget.

We have found a new favorite restaurant! The clam chowder was delicious. The lobster rolls were generous and very tasty. The view of the harbor is beautiful. Our server was very friendly. Definitely 5 stars across the board.

This place was wild. An old timer from the area told me while waiting "There's no AC or heat here. It's one of the last of the old places." It was really amazing explaining and the food was fantastic. Beware, parking is valet.

The food was so so good, the service was phenomenal, and the harbor views were magnificent. My wife and I have been traveling from Colorado and this has been our favorite place so far.

Not a place for me. It’s high energy extremely busy. I had Lobster bisque.. it definitely a lot of spice in it. The company I was with had fish and they loved their meals. The staff was very friendly.

Fun restaurant with cool views. The homemade chips with blue cheese and bacon is a great appetizer. If they have the swordfish chop as a special, you won’t be disappointed. The pasta Livorno is also pretty great.

My husband and I are on our honeymoon & this was one of our favorite spots. Maria, our server, was just fabulous. She was knowledgeable about the food, drinks, and location! The food was absolutely delicious and came out very fast. The ambiance is great- a very east coast harbor feel. We will definitely be back on our next trip to the Cape. Oh, and amazing desserts!!! We got the peanut butter pie. The owner makes it!

We ate at a few of the highly recommended area restaurants and Mattakeese Wharf was outstanding. Their clam chowder is the absolute best hands down. Loaded with meat and potatoes, thick and creamy and the best seasoning I’ve ever had. The Pasta Livorno was beyond fabulous. Loaded with lobster, huge shrimp & scallops, and whatever that sauce is, it’s fabulous. Hubs had the Baked Haddock and it was outstanding. Thick and perfectly seasoned. Service was impeccable. Fabulous enclosed outdoor area over looking canal. I’d give this place 10 stars if I could. It’s that good.

We enjoyed a lovely family meal on a hot August day. We shared some oysters and hoagies, also known as "stuffies" which were very tasty. The seafood stew that followed was excellent as were the deserts. There were great views over the harbour from many parts of the restaurant. We enjoyed a walk down the road to see the local beach after the meal. Would like to return, if ever in the area again.

Very upscale seafood restaurant. They have a bar and large dining area. The side closer to the harbor is perfect for sunset views. The wait staff was very professional and quick. The valet service was professional and quick. The bathrooms were small for the size of the restaurant but adequate. The food was top notch and $30-40 per person plus more if you get drinks. Overall great time.

Great food, fun decor, fast service even when they were very busy. Parking is valet but tip only. We had the fish sandwich, lobster bisque and clam chowder. Highly recommend all three.

We had a group of 10 so they accepted a reservation for any group over 6. A nice atmosphere and beautiful at sunset overlooking Barnstable harbor! Valet parking but if space you may be able to park nearby in winter not during summer though!

This was an exquisite evening! Food was outstanding. My wife had baked swordfish and I had a lobster roll. Both perfect and delicious. Our App was the calamari and that also was wonderful! We will be back! Bartenders and our waitress made our evening!
