Amazing atmosphere in this small-town pub! Great staff who are always friendly and prompt keep us coming back. They always have great cold beers on tap as well as a fully stocked bar. The menu is full of delicious food and you HAVE TO get the homemade chips (lemon pepper are the best). We love celebrating St Patrick's Day and New Years here with the best of Batavia!

The absolute best Ruebens ever! I went with my daughter, sister & brother in law. My brother in law said the best place he had ever tasted Ruebens was in Michigan. I watched his reaction after he started eating it. First, he said it was good. Then he really liked it. Lastly, he said it was as good, if not better than the other place.

For many years, I have been eyeing this place up. Usually when I'm in Batavia though, I'm there on a Sunday, and O'Lacy's is not open. I came here with my parents and was so thrilled. Immediately when I entered, I felt a sense of home. This pub transported me back to Ireland. I miss Ireland so much. The entire vibes of the place were positive and homey and exuded friendship. I ordered the Uncle Louie with the famous chips and it didn't disappoint. I really liked the sauce that came on the side for dipping with the chips and sandwich. It had a good flavor. My mouth is watering thinking about this sandwich and chips. The service was great as well. It was only the bartender and waitress and every table was taken, as well as tables in the patio, so they were both hustling, but still attentive.

I have been to O'Lacy's several times. It's usually great and I will certainly be back. However, their corned beef and cabbage is terrible. I went there specifically because it's an Irish pub and thought it would be awesome. First- the corned beef was stringy. The chef does not know how to cut a brisket. Not an earth shattering issue, but it chews better when cut correctly. The biggest problem was that the vegetables were cooked separately. They were completely flavorless. I asked for the juice that the corned beef was cooked in to pour over my veggies - it helped slightly. I didn't make a "big stink" because I've worked in the restaurant business and I know that what comes out of the kitchen isn't the server's/bartender's fault. I just told her it was flavorless and ate the meat. I ordered a chicken sandwich for takeout for my husband. He said it was good. Here's where the restaurant made it right- I never asked for anything - I said I would make do and not to worry. She only charged me $3 for eating the beef. I think that was awesome and I will definitely be back because this was an isolated incident. Great customer service.

Good Irish music with the Band Himself at O'Lacy's last night. Excellent night for a pint and a Reuben.

Great Reuben and great beer (poured with a shamrock I might add)! Tucked away in downtown Batavia, the moment you step through the door of O'Lacy's you feel like you may have just accidentally left town. From the traditional Irish music, the warm embrace of the bar top, the intermingled decor with its obvious yet quaint Irish roots. This place looks and feels more like an Irishman's man-cave than a local bar. Would recommend 10 out of 10 times! Sláinte!

Cute Irish pub. Very friendly people. Quaint and cozy. Good beer. Had fish sandwich , wasn't very happy with it. I am used to the fish and chips from England. Nothing like the fish. But they had other food that looked amazing. A must stop by!!
