I truly enjoyed my food. I had wings which were awesome along with the corn grits which is by far the best I’ve ever had. I also ordered the jambalaya which i didn’t like (a bit on the salty side and more of a gravy rice type) but the bread that came with it was so good. With that being said I’ll recommend people here and i can’t wait to return.
We had 2 adults and 2 children. We ordered the chili glazed shrimp app and seafood platter. The food took awhile to come out but it was worth it. So much food. All seasoned and cooked well. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. We will definitely be back.
Food was great. We had 2 dozen dollar charhrilled oysters, a pound of shrimp, and crawfish. Everything was good and seasoned well. Sat at the bar while Hannah J. was behind it working and she gave great service. I never even had an empty drink. Best prices I've found in town too.
There have been plenty of times that I’ve been here bc the food was good but hated the service, but last night definitely put this place in my tops! The ENTIRE staff was awesome! Ken at the bar made us the most awesome Ciroc Waves. He was personable and courteous! Ky wasn’t our bartender but she was just as hospitable! When the hostess came to get us for our table she personally walked us in and our waitress Marlene was there waiting to get our drink orders! She checked in with us often and the food was greeeeat and piping hot! The cook came out and checked on us as well. The owner came by to check on us. And Aunt Debbie was the best part of the whole night!!! Well... next to the diablo oysters lol
Excellent food, awesome vibe. Bartenders we one point, very friendly and made great suggestions. Had a ton of fun just hanging at the bar listening to the music.
Went here back on 9/17/2021 and I must say the food was pretty good. I loved the lemon pepper wings, granted they did seem a lil over seasoned though. I did half and half with lemon pepper and buffalo, which was also good. The crawfish nachos gets a plus as well. One thing that threw me off was it was kind of coming off as clubish. I'm assuming on the weekends (at a certain time) there's a charge to get into the place. Luckily for us, we manage to avoid that. Idk if we got there before they started charging or the security person just wasn't at their post. The music was pretty loud as if you were at a club. I couldn't even hear the person next to me talking. At least two of the drinks I wanted they didn't have, either something about the frozen machine wasn't working or they just ran out. Crazy because the drink I ended up getting was frozen, but no complaints about that. It was still good. Overall the experience was a good one. Vibes are pretty chilled. Even with three parties going on, the waitress was still attentive. I can see myself going back for the food or just a nice time out.
We decided to stop and eat here as we were driving through Baton Rouge back to Houston
Service was good and attentive
Food was bomb
Definitely the best red beans & rice I’ve ever had. They had a nice, Smokey flavor.
Music was enjoyable. Would definitely visit again
Food and drinks are good.
There most likely will be a good wait in the evenings on the weekend. It is a very lively place. Very loud most of the time in there, but they have outdoor seating. The prices..... Well it's seafood so medium range.
The food was delicious. Service was hit or miss as we waited a very long time for refills but they were very nice when they happened to be attentive. We had crawfish bread, Catfish Acadian, and a Half n Half fried platter of catfish and shrimp with a side of red beans. The beans were a bit bland but the rest were amazing. Highly recommend the food.
First visit there and we definitely will be back very soon also worth the drive too. The service was amazing!!!!
Update: Second Visit---Food was great but on Sundays is more of a club like scene. Music blasting, people dancing all over, hookah amongst other things in the air 🍃. Oustide of the loud music there is definitely a vibe. Also there is a cover charge for men $20 and $10 for women. I've never experienced that at a restaurant. If we go back it will not be during the weekend. Food was seasoned to perfection and worth the money we spent.
Lively atmosphere. Crawfish were gooood and all you could ask for at a decent price. The sausage was cold in the middle though (hence the missing star), but everything else was great! They said there would be a 30 minute wait, but a couple minutes later they asked if we would like to sit outside and we said yes. There was nobody dining in the mostly covered area outside with bar access. They turned on the heater for us and we were very comfortable. We appreciated the friendly service :)
