Loved it!!! Will definitely return. Seated as soon as we entered but waiting for the entree' was an over 30 min wait (but it was a busy Saturday afternoon). Loved the freckled lemonade and free refills also loved the queso and the bottomless fries!! Nice addition to BR.
After living in Houston for six years, I had my share of good red robin burgers. But - After my first visit to the Baton Rouge location, I vowed to Never ever return. It was awful. However, I decided to give them one more chance and cash in my free birthday burger. I was pleasantly surprised. Service was phenomenal. Speedy and delicious. The restaurant manager stopped by as well to ensure all was to my liking. Great job turning things around. I can't wait to return again!
Enjoyed the experience. I like the bleu ribbon burger. I didn't like that they don't ask if the high top tables were okay with the patrons. High top tables hurt my hips, but both times we went, we were seated there. The first time I requested another table without a problem. The second time would have been a longer wait so we sat there. While sitting there, we saw numerous couples that said they didn't want high top and got another table.

Happy to have in the BR. Finally let some of the hype die down and went on a Friday night. We were seated in about 15 minutes, despite how busy it was. I got the A1 burger and my hubby got the royal red robin. Both burgers were very flavorful. I loved the steak fries and the fact that they are "bottomless" though I didnt need any more than I got. We also got the pretzel bites for an appetizer which were delicious in itself, but i didnt care for the cheese. Our server was attentive to our drink needs and overall we were quite pleased.
I've been annoyed for 2-3 years that they are playing Red Robin commercials in our market when we had no Red Robin to go to. How long were they going to wait? Alas, it has FINALLY arrived. Based on the commercials, I had the impression that it was more on the fast food spectrum than a full service restaurant, but it turned out it was a full service restaurant with a full bar. We were seated quickly in cool red leather (or vinyl) chairs in a modern-style dining room, which we thought was very nice. The hostess asked me (age 37) and my daughter (age 13, since last week), if we were both over 21. I guess she wanted to know if she could seat us in the bar area, but her age perception was way off. Our server was very nice and greeted us pretty quickly. We both asked for water with lemon, and received water without lemon. After taking our order she asked if we needed anything else, and we asked for lemon again. She said "Sure, I'll get that for you." We never got our lemon. For the menu prices, I expected the burgers to be spectacular and big. Our food was ready very quickly, but we were not impressed upon initial sight of our burgers. The burgers looked like fast-food burgers. I got the Chili Chili burger, and upon first bite, I was impressed. It was very tasty. It had the flame broiled flavor, and the chili was delicious. The menu said it was served open-face and I'd need an extra napkin, so I expected to need a fork and knife to eat it. It was not served open face and the chili was not even dripping out. I ate it with my hands without an extra napkin. The main disappointment with this burger was that the cheddar cheese was just a tiny pinch - not even enough to taste. I will probably order extra cheese next time. My daughter got a classic cheeseburger and liked it. She did not think it was unusually spectacular, and I did not think it was worth the price. She got the fries, which were hot, under-salted, and served in a cute metal container. Next time we will try the garlic herb fries for an up charge. I got the maccaroni and cheese which was my favorite part of the meal. It contained curly pasta (slightly firm/undercooked for my taste), some whitish cheese sauce, and shredded cheddar cheee. It was a little smaller portion than I would have liked, but it was enough. The flavor was delicious. Within 35 minutes of our arrival, there were 3 birthday songs songs by the staff. The birthday people were served sundaes, and my daughter wanted one. Though the "birthday sundae" was not on the menu, our server said she would make us one. It was vanilla ice cream with strawberry and chocolate sauces, whipped cream and a cherry. The cherry tasted like medicine, and the whipped cream was the cheap kind that didn't taste like cream, but she enjoyed it. I had the "Bite-tini", which was delicious brownie bites in a martini glass with chocolate sauce, whipped cream, and a cherry. It had way too much whipped cream, and I agreed that the cherry tasted like medicine, but the brownies were great. Overall, we enjoyed our food, our service, the speed of delivery of our meals, and the atmosphere. Burgers were tasty, yet a little over priced. We will be back, but will probably not ever try one if their "gourmet" burgers which are even more expensive ($14-15 range).
I had the best burger ever here! The Banzai (sp?) burger was amazing! It included grilled pineapple!!! I enjoyed it with sweet potato fries!! The fries could have been better with a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar! The service needs polishing a bit OVER HELPFUL! I bet our waitress asked us 20 times if we were ok! I will be back!!
Finally remembered to try the Red Robin by the mall, and it was pretty tasty.
Service: polite, could've been a little quicker since there were barely any guests, but it was shift change.
Venue: decent- could've been a little cleaner and fresher
Food quality: the veggies in the burger are fresh an the burger patty was well-seasoned. The presentation blew me away. The burger could've been on a commercial. Bottomless steak fries: what else is there to say? The onion rings aren't bottomless, but who cares when they're that scrumptious. Plus, you can steal fries from others since they're bottomless.
The star: the new cheese dip is a vibe. I could easily eat that on pretty much anything, and cup for $1.99? Heck, yes.
Cocktails: Margarita was yummy and spirited.
Verdict: I'll be back.
Ok burgers for a chain, overall good but the service was at best average, they are definitely short staffed and some of the items on the menu was not available. The burger looked like it was thrown together by a 10 year old in the back.....
food was good, server was a bit all over the place when we went though. she kept forgetting our drinks. the rest of it was good though. the garlic fries are amazing.
Decent food! Took a while for our waitress to serve us, but she was excellent! Overall, a good experience!
We went in with two girls' soccer teams and parents. The wait staff handled it very well. The food was on point as usual. The orders took a little longer to get out due to the size of the crowd. However, Rachel kept our drinks full and checked on us often. Great job!
