This has been my favorite bagel place, since they opened. I moved away almost 30 years ago and whenever I come home, I try to get there I’m not always successful. But this time I was able to get a dozen bagels to bring them home and I’m still really enjoying them now.
I grew up in queens so I’m pretty picky about my bagels, with that said this place has become my go to bagel place on the south shore! If you can get there early, the bagels are fresh and don’t need to be toasted which we love over here! There’s a nice selection of varieties of bagels and spreads, and they do have a decent breakfast/deli menu with pastries and snacks available. And of course coffee ! I never wait more than a few minutes to order and receive my order, even when it’s busy....a it does get busy. Let’s not forget the staff is always warm and prices are right! Highly recommend this place.
Amazing food and service. Bagels are best of the best. They have some of the most creative signature sandwiches I’ve ever seen. The RRS crash is a must try!!
Best Bagels in Islip!! Best breakfast sandwiches with the best sides & pickle! Best salads!!! I love the staff! I order EXTRA EXTRA BACON and cheese on a roll toasted.. Where everybody knows my name! Diane the entire staff is friendly, and awesome! Been coming here for two decades! Love my bagel boss!! ❤️
I’m a super picky eater, and ever since having covid in Jan 2021, I developed this smell/taste disorder called “parosmia” (where everything smells and tastes rotten) but I been regaining my senses back & over the past 2 months I’ve been trying old foods that I used to love. I have to say hands down this was the best egg sandwich I have ever eaten in my life, even before covid! I had 1 egg over medium with ham extra cheese and mayo on a roll and omg!! So good! Def recommend
The bagels here are top notch. I'm very lucky to live near a REAL bagel shop. Dunkin is a joke with their baked bread rings. Go to Bagel Boss and grab a sandwich while you're there.
After a multiple year hiatus from eating here, I recently dropped in to grab the NY staple BEC, and was very surprised to see the same level of quality I had seen all those years ago, if not better.
Amazing sandwiches across the board, just be ready for the busyness.
