Fridays and Saturdays are The Best.. Mariachis and Latin Night are fun, plus the food is amazing.
Next time you go, try the chicken tostadas, guacamole and chips, French fries (which I love), flan (without the milk on top), and their house margarita to have the most wonderful meal😉
One of Bayonne's newest gems. Great food and decor. I really enjoyed the live guitar duet on the Friday night I visited. I've become regular. Highly recommended.
Attentive staff, fantastic Mariachi on Fridays (this band is truly talented), delicious food and my favorite sangria! Great atmosphere for date night or even a group setting.
Fresh & tasty food! A "must try" if you love Mexican food. Try "vuelve a la vida" a cocktail of oysters and shrimp and the Rib eye tacos are just amazing!
What a wonderful treasure in the heart of Bayonne! The service was great, staff was attentive and accommodating. The food was delicious and most important reasonably priced. But my favorite part is the entertainment! Music was great! I'm a former 18 year resident of Bayonne. Wanting to gather with friends I met up with 5 of them at Mezcal on the recommendation of another Bayonne resident and I'm really glad we did! Absolutely loved this place on a Friday night!!! Highly recommend it!!

..very cozy, good and traditional Mexican cuisine. Andres is the "Devil Mez" great bartender and all his tricks. Service is awesome! Everyone from the owners and all the staff...two thumbs up!

The food here was amazing. The guacamole was truly the best I’ve ever tasted, and everyone at our table was so happy with the meal and the prices were quite reasonable. The only reason I can’t give this a 5 star review is because of how LOUD this restaurant is. Music with heavy bass plays so loudly you can barely hear yourself think, and having any kind of conversation is very difficult. I would order out from this place and the atmosphere is so nice with the candles, flowers and mood lighting, but the volume of the music was just a total downer. The service was also so so, our waitress forgot to give some people at our table water and didn’t refill unless we asked.
Food has that authentic Mexican culture taste. The food was delicious. Comfortable, n classic. One of a kind. The cost and amount of food was beyond expect. You have to visit.
One of my favorite places to come to, even late nights. Amazing food, drinks and service every single time! I’ve been here multiple time already and have never been disappointed.
How is this only 9$?? Got Lunch Special: Thursday Tortas in Carnitas. Carnitas was a little bit fatty but it was giant and delicious. I thought it would be half the size.

Straight to the point, I love this spot. I've been here 3 times already and each time I left full and satisfied. I just got done eating here and I'm already thinking of what to order on my next visit! 🤩
Food:
I like how big the menu is and that there is a mix between Mexican, American, Texmex, and LA style Mexican food. Incredible! There's just about anything for anyone with any kind of taste. It's like love at first bite but times 50 because the proportions are big. The proportions are well worth the price.
Service:
The staff is great! No complaints. Courteous and attentive. Despite how busy it was and how many orders they were handling, they took care of it.
Atmosphere:
There's a bar. Decent variety of tequila and beers. Nice mix of cocktails too. The decorations are so surprising since there's not much going on from the outside of the restaurant. Goes to show that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover because you'll be surprised once you step inside.

Used to have to travel to find great birria, now I can have it in walking distance. Food is fresh and delicious.
I really enjoy their food and dining experience. The elotes and nachos are ordered as apps every time I go because I enjoy it so much. I also really like their flan. Recently I ordered the fish tacos, and ohmygosh it looked so beautiful and they were just as delicious. The drinks were great, strong, and the staff were nice. I like the different movies they have playing and it's quite amusing to anticipate what they'll decide every time I go. I don't know how many times I've gone already, because they're a regular for me.
