Man, I wish I tried this place sooner. It’s deceptively big inside and has old school diner vibes. The service is super friendly, the prices are fair and the food is terrific.
Fan of pickles and coleslaw? They make their own and they’re superb. Oh, and they’re bottomless too. Puts the gross soggy pickles and coleslaw at Neptune Diner to shame… in fact, everything I’ve tried here puts the Neptune equivalents to shame.
The corned beef sandwich is big and great quality. They also offer it extra lean which is a nice option to have, same goes for the pastrami. The french fries here are made fresh and they taste it.
Will definitely be making this a mainstay. It may not offer the variety of a diner, but checks so many diner boxes that I can safely say this is an amazing alternative to the lazy Neptune quality just down the street.
I enjoyed my first visit to Ben’s Kosher Delicatessen. Oh my goodness, it was my first time eating latkes and they were simply amazing. The kosher hotdogs with various toppings were very delicious as well. Service was exceptional. I’m glad that I was able to try out some menu items. I had a great time. Jaime was really nice and helpful.
My family had lunch here and it was great. Food, service and atmosphere was nice. I had a turkey special but they are really know for their hotdogs, kinishes and pastrami sandwiches. They have many different things to eat but that is the popular menu items.
I went here today to celebrate my birthday! My family and I enjoyed being at the restaurant. For starters, the restaurant is very clean. We appreciate the waiters, especially Andres! He was our main waiter and very attentive. The food was good, but could’ve been more seasoned according to my mom and sisters. Other then that, not too much to complain about.
A great deli experience in the Bayside area. Ben's has been around for a while and is one of the best spots for some pastrami and corned beef. The staff are friendly and there's not much of a wait for lunch on a weekday. Corned beef and liver is my go-to sandwich here. The matzo ball soup and pickles are absolutely delicious. The matzo ball soup is great during the winter as it comes out piping hot! For others, the coleslaw and hot dogs here are great too.

One of the only kosher deli in queens. Great
You had me at: All you can eat pickles and coleslaw!!! Food was really good, service was excellent. Expensive but tasty!
If i could give 4 1/2 stars i would. Great deli and one of the few places in bayside that has cel-ray soda. I haven't had much of the menu yet but occasionally i grab hot dogs.
What else could we do but go to a Jewish Deli while visiting NYC! The server was attentive and patient, the portions were HUGE and the food was amazing!!!
I had the Reuben with fries and Oleg had the cabbage rolls with sides of onion rings and potato pancakes (latkes).
Exactly what I was expecting to find and more!!
If you want a good pastrami or corn beef sandwich and you are in mid town, this is the place. There are only a few real Kosher deli's left in New York City. This is one of them. The sandwiches are so big you only need to order one for a party of two. Don't forget to order a knish. I prefer the round ones. Love the new dill pickles.
This is a totally legit Kosher deli, and it even smells right! Great service and good food. The pastrami doesn't taste quite like I remember from the 60s, but it's probably a lot healthier these days and it was very good. Coleslaw tasted homemade and also good.
13.00 a sandwich which I'd an amazing deal. Guess this is why they are the few Kosher Delis that remain open. Iam also thinking if throwing a party here for my nephew. Staff is amazing and the chef is the best as far as delicatessens is concerned and I've been to top delis and none can hold a candle to them. Their cornedbeef is to die for. Try their hotdogs with Ketchup Mustard Mayo and kraout and you will not regret it. My wife had the pastrami omelet and it was freakin amazing. I told her HUMWHY ARE YOU GETTING OMLETS IN A DELI GET A SANDWHICH!!!! She proved me wrong with one tasty bite at a time.
