I cannot express to you all how much chicken lovers, as an establishment, means to me. My friends and I have more than just frequented this place for the last almost 7 years, but basically lived in it during high school. Every aspect of this restaurant deserves praise. From the melodic ~sizzle~ of the grill, to the gentle aroma of their spicy, herbaceous, absolutely amazing green sauce, perfection lies everywhere. I can not begin to extol sufficiently the magnificence and happiness that chicken lovers provides.
P.S. If given the option of two sides in a combo, get the macaroni and then get it one more time. Trust me.

10 out of 5. I always wanna try this place so bad. Ppl keep saying how good this place is. And I am not disappointed. I am so satisfied. It’s a must try. Please order like at least half hour before you go in to pick it up although It’s worth to wait. However, it’s very hard to find parking. Price is very decent when you see the portion. I couldn’t even finish the lunch by myself.
The chicken you can tell it’s freshly grilled, even the breast is not dry. Juicy and flavorful.
The ribs is mad good. You can taste the bbq sauce but also the flavor of the meat. It’s not like you are just eating the sauce. Very tender, juicy. This is impressive.
I personally love the ribs better but why not have both, lol.
They give you the Aji sauce(green sauce). That’s amazing.
This place is a must try and a go to.

Hard to find parking but well worth it when you do. Green sauce with chicken and ribs soft and great as it is. Corn, mash potato, Mac and cheese are great. Get the family meal, can feed 5 adults so averages out to about 12 bucks a person.

Friends recommended us that Bayside’s Chicken Lovers serves one of the best ribs in the neighborhood and we finally got a chance to give it a try.
The decor is humble and outmoded without indoor seating currently. It’s really popular with lone line during the peak even on a weekday, so ordering in advance would save your time.
We got half chicken & half ribs with 2 sides, corn & salad to share with a group of two. The portion was amazingly great with a reasonable price and we finished only half of it.
The sides were okay and we preferred salad than corn which was a little blend. Both chicken and ribs were impressively delicious, juicy & tender. Moreover, the sauce was flavorful and appetizing.
We will definitely visit again when we are craving for grilled chicken or ribs. It’s totally worth the price.

I am not writing this review to tell you what to do with your hard-earned money. I am going to share my thoughts and you make your own decision if you would like to try this place or not. I have been going to Chicken lovers for a long time and keep going because the food is amazing. This restaurant sells so much that the chicken is NEVER re-grilled. You will always get fresh, juicy tasty chicken. The BBQ ribs are also delicious. They are cooked to perfection. Not raw but not dry. The ribs are also nice and juicy, and the meat is tender. The mac n’ cheese is also good. It’s made with real cheese. The seasoned potatoes have the right amount of seasoning. Everything you order will be recently prepared because they sell so much that the food does not sit for long. As a matter of fact, you need to place your order at least one hour before picking it up. Somedays they sell out of chicken around 8ish at night. One of the key reasons for the success of Chicken Lovers is Selina and Shakly. They are super friendly and always greet you with a smile.

The chicken is great. No big dinning area. So if you order some of their great family meals expect to take the food with you. The place cooks tons of chicken all day. Wait is usually not long but the food is wonderful. Try it out today. Thank you
Their food is AMAZING, and reasonable, BUT...go on Monday or Tuesday as its a little quieter. Order on line before you go or they may be out of chicken when you arrive. You will wait on line anyway even if you pre-ordered. Parking is bad, but I order a family dinner for 2, add a couple of extra sides & pita breads, and we have a great dinner for 2 people for 2 nights for $70 including tip for overworked staff
This is my go to spot for chicken & ribs. The food is delicious and consistent. Always good & always fresh. However because the food is good, they do run out. Order online or by phone and pick up yourself. Don't forget to tip. It's worth it you'll thank me later.

That's some damn good chicken. The pricing for the lunch is perfect and the portions are double of what you're paying for. Staff is really friendly just be prepared it gets a little cold inside sometimes during colder weather.
Chicken lovers which has been a long time staple in the Bayside neighborhood, what else can I say? I can say that over the years this place has remained in the same location due to a strong following from the locals and repeat customers. It is a tried and true restaurant which speaks volumes however I find the restaurant to be too inconsistent. The chicken and ribs are sometimes cooked to perfection and sometimes it's overly dry. What saves the dry meat is their green sauce. It is truly one of the best condiments you will find out there.

There was a really long wait , approximately 25 mins. It seems as if there was some confusion in terms of who ordered first. But the girl at the register was kind enough to notice that we were waiting and offered us a free side. If anything what this says is that you should call ahead of time and order. The food on the other hand was excellent! The chicken tasted so good and was moist. The sides were good as well. The serving size is good for the price. A 1/2 chicken combo with two sides can easily feed two people.
Always busy. Advice to order ahead and early. A hour before closing sometimes ran out of food. Excellent ribs and chicken. Don't forget the green sauce. Side dishes have choice of macaroni and cheese(recommend), mashed potatoes, salad, baked potato etc.

One of THE best roasted chickens I’ve had in the city! The entire NYC! A hidden gem, a local favorite, and my new favorite roasted chicken joint! Lunch specials are a GREAT deal—9$ gets you half a chicken with two sides; I chose their rice and roasted potatoes. It was the best lunch of the month! Must visit and must re-visit!
Chicken and Ribs are delicious. Sides are done very well. The Green Sauce is outstanding , spicy and a great compliment . Save some for later and try on your pizza 😉 later.
