Really great, the Oysters are obviously the star of the show; but the Caesar Salad and meatballs, and pizza were very good as well
The service and food were outstanding! We interacted with 3 waitresses all of which were very cool and provided helpful feedback as well an info about Happy Hour (which well be back for tomorrow!). I ate the lobster mac and cheese. Girlfriend had Mahi tacos. This may be the best food on the island. Setting had excellent 80s-early 2000s music at a good volume. Crowd noise is loud inside...but there is outdoor seating to avoid that! They also have their own Habanero hot sauce...excellent!

Discovered this phenomenal FIND a year ago and we went back again yesterday, and oh boy it certainly didn't disappoint! Some changes to the menu but it is one of my favorite dining experiences on the island. The oysters are ridiculously good! We absolutely loved the tuna tartare and the crab fried rice. YUM!
P.S. Chef, PLEASE BRING BACK THE LOBSTER MAC N CHEESE!!
Amazing food and ambience.
Everything here is to die for. The Oyster options are fantastic, the other dishes are equally amazing as well. We had the dry aged burger, the whipped ricotta and the octopus, everything was delivered with immense flavor and looked very well prepared. Service was great and the drink selection was great as well.
We stopped in for the first time yesterday and the food and drinks were excellent. We had an order of the fish tacos, pira pira shrimp and sindwinders all were exceptional. We also tried the mezcal prickly pear margarita’s which were also good definitely have a hint of smoke if you do not like that this drink may not be for you but I would recommend giving it a shot before crossing it off the list. We will be back to try more items.
One of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time! We stumbled upon this place on a spontaneous last minute trip to LBI. We walked in around 6pm and there were already only a couple tables left (it quickly filled up after we were there). We ordered a dozen oysters and then based on the server’s recommendations we ordered the Whipped Ricotta and Crab Fried Rice… and were wow’d with every bite! Everything was so flavorful and the portions were huge! We really felt like we got our monies worth. We also ordered a couple cocktails and they were made well and delicious. The serving staff were incredibly busy and everyone seemed to share all the jobs to make the service go smoothly. There was definitely a line (on a Thursday night in the off season) so I can’t imagine how busy that place is during peak season. We will definitely be back!
I had an amazing experience at Delaware Oyster House and I wish I had discovered it sooner!! We started with oysters - 2 of each kind. We also had their unique clam chowder which has pork roll and Johnny long hots in it - it was delicious! We also ordered the crab dip with wonton chips and it was so tasty! Finally, we had meatballs with bread. Everything we had was amazing and we will definitely be back soon!!
Food and atmosphere were great, but I set myself up for disappointment! My partner and I came for two dishes that were listed on Google (fried clams, cheeseboard), but were no longer on the menu. Always check the website for the most up to date info! Not so options if you aren't into seafood as much. I had the crab Rangoon dip as my meal, and while it was delicious, I would have enjoyed myself more with something else.
Hey guys! Had a great first experience. Our Server, Janet, explained in detail all the Oyster choices. We had no idea!! My hubby likes seafood but doesn’t want to know it’s from the Sea 🤔 ha! Janet made an excellent suggestion of the Beau-Soleil and I could have eaten a dozen more!! The duck wings were so good!! I can’t wait to go back and bring my son , who loves good food! My Cosmo! Perfect. We rounded it out with the fish tacos and the lobster cake. Great place. Oh and ps, the restroom was very clean. Hey, that’s important too 😉
We love hitting up Delaware Ave on Friday for happy hour. After only 2 visits, the bartenders remember our drink orders and confirm when we walk in the bar. Buck a shuck clams and oysters are a must have for me. I also love the shrimp tempura and Bavarian pretzel. My husband loves the clams casino. He loves to drink the old barney and I'm torn between a jack & diet or the queen city. I'm so happy we dedicated to check them out a couple months ago. Being locals, now I want to go every Friday after work.
Best clam chowder we’ve ever had. I wish I hadn’t gotten the fish tacos, which were perfectly cooked and beautifully presented but were way too salty for my taste and could have benefited from a more flavorful, larger amount of black bean purée or a rethinking of the black beans….plus a more generous amount of the perfectly cooked corn kernels. Great service …I just wish the bartender hadn’t recommended the fish tacos.
Awesome experience and very fresh food. The bartender was pleasant and attentive. I started with a variety of raw oysters then went. Into the Delaware bay oysters. The bloody Mary was good and the rim was crusted with salt and pepper. I saw a lot of different food coming out and it look good. Will most certainly be going back. Say tuned.
Went back this summer and still great a great place with the best staff.
Always an amazing experience. As per usual, I had one dozen of each oyster. However this time around I tried the new Scallop entrée. Which just happened to be one of the best scallop dishes I've ever had! I will be back this season. Cheers!
This restaurant used to be an island staple. It has now transitioned into a touristy spot. The food quality has not declined but the prices are too high, and the restaurant is getting greedy. For example, serving a dip with a side of bread, not giving enough bread, and then charging for an extra side of bread.
The happy hour is only 1 hour on the days they have it, and it seems they’re more interested in profits than being an island staple.
Absolutely worth the wait for a seat! Everything is so delicious and the staff is as gracious as can be, even when it's crazy busy. Can't recommend it enough!
This was our second time here and the oysters were fresh and tasty. The bartender, Kevin, was incredibly helpful and attentive. I had the crab cake sandwich and the shrimp ceviche. Both were delicious!!! Freshly sauteed crab cake on a brioche roll with lettuce and tomato. Served with crispy fries, and a side of tartar sauce and cole slaw. Shrimp ceviche was served in a martini glass with tortilla chips. Great place!
