I have been using Asian King for my Chinese food since they opened. And yes, there is the possibility of having an "off day." But from my perspective their food is EXCELLENT!!! First off -- I am from NYC and frequented Chinatown in lower Manhattan for DECADES, as well as the area of NYC called Flushing in Queens - which is predominately Asian as well. The food at Asian King is as good as or even BETTER than the food there. I have spent time in Mainland China - through various cities at five different universities. The food (With few exceptions) is extremely authentic. O.k., specific items:
BBQ Spare ribs -- the BEST in the Dayton area. They must have their own roasting ovens because they are the same as I would buy in NYC from the Chinese Butcher shops with the Roast Pork and Roast Chicken and Roast Duck hanging in the window. SUPERB!
Carb Rangoon -- o.k., NOT an authentic Chinese dish -- but I would agree with other commenters -- EXCELLENT Appetizer. Most other places put a tiny bit of cheese and crab filling into the wonton wrapper. Asian King OVERLOADS the wonton creating a TRULY remarkable Crab Rangoon!!! No skimping here!
Thai Mala Green Beans -- another wonderful dish! Great mix of flavors and heat!
I could go on and on -- dish by dish.
Bottom line -- they are in my opinion the #1 Chinese take out the entire Dayton area!!!
I can't say enough amazing things about this place! By far my favorite place to eat Chinese at. I have YET to have anything burnt, cold, or overly greasy. I drive 15 minutes each way to pick this up. I wish they delivered to where I live! LOVE this place! I don't normally eat leftovers, and I will eat them every time if they are from here!
Love this place and eat here all the time. One of the only Asian restaurants in Beavercreek that doesn't upset our tummies.
Very good food. They were extremely busy. They also were really COVID-19 aware.
Vegan approved! I requested the Vegetable Delight with Tofu and Brown Rice (make sure to tell them no eggs, no dairy, no beef stock and no chicken stock). It was excellent! Everything was cooked perfectly and it was reasonably priced. I will definitely recommend Asian King to my friends and family! ☆
Pretty standard chinese food. Tucked away so queues are short. Food ready quickly.
Everything we have ordered here is delicious. It's above and beyond any other Chinese food that we've had probably ever. The coconut shrimp is a dream. The curry chicken and curry shrimp are also amazing. My daughter loves the beef sticks and they are so much tastier and well-marinated than competing area restaurants. I cannot sing the praises of this restaurant enough and they have kept my family fed during this crazy time of COVID on nights when we just need the excuse to order Asian King rather than cook. Thank you guys for everything!
