Five Stars!
I love this Market we came all the way from Vancouver to buy new wines and Suki here. The selection is overwhelming :) but alot of stuff here I like to try. It's a great super market. Produce, meat, premade all looks delicious. Definitely have to try this market.
I have been to all 3 Uwajimaya stores and this one absolutely has the largest deli and selection of grab-and-go hot and cold meals! You can even get a hot teriyaki rotisserie chicken! Perhaps it's because they don't have a real food court like the one in Seattle, but they do have 2 connected locations--a cream puff bakery and a ramen shop.
I was a little disappointed they were out of stock of almost all Filipino bakery goods when I visited, but I'm not familiar with the delivery schedules of this location--plus, current supply chain issues!--so I'm not holding it against them.
While not particularly bigger in store area than the other Uwajimaya stores, I feel like this one is the best organized and it was easy to find what I was looking for even though I'd never been to this location before. Aisles are very clearly labeled and items are grouped together well. Looking forward to returning now that I'll be in this area more often.
It more like a small dept store with section of groceries and a Japanese bookstore. Generally, the prices are more expensive than other Asian markets. Especially the tropical fresh fruit like mangosteen and rambutan are $10 more per lb. For eg. I can get mangosteen for $14.99/lb in other store and $24.99/lb at Uwajimaya. Same day price comparison. So you have to price around when you shop. But I do like the sashimi block and seafood.
This is the only true Japanese market of its kind in Oregon. The rest of them are a blend of all Asian cultures and lack most of the quality controls that Uwajimaya has. They have all the unique sauces and vegetables that you can only find here and it's of the utmost quality. I cannot wait for the fish market to open backup after this pandemic. That was one of my favorite parts of walking up to the glass display and being able to pick out my fish.. Just like being in Japan. Never any weird odors and the seafood quality is second to none.
Uwajimaya is a fantastic family-owned Asian and Japanese grocery store, local to the Pacific Northwest.
It’s easy to see from the road and has plenty of parking.
As their only location in Oregon, their Beaverton shop is a great place to find a wonderful variety of fresh produce, seafood, and meats.
The excellent customer service is a testament to the fact that it has been family owned since 1928!

So much fun! Love the variety of snacks, tea, stationary, precooked meals, bread and fresh produce.
An amazingly well stocked asian super market. You name it and you'll find it here. Some of the popular Indian fish as well as some basic ingredients are also available. But primarily if you are someone who's watched all those asian cooking shows and instagramers going wild with ingredients then this is the place to go to. Find almost every asian food and ingredient here
My favorite Asian market. Employees are friendly and welcoming. I love going here for Asian food supplies and tea. I also love trying new snacks and sweets from here. Their deli area has amazing food and I used to eat here often before Covid. If you love bubble tea they have so many supplies available that are great for beginners.
