I wanted to try out some all you can eat Korean BBQ in the Portland area. This place is the only Korean BBQ all you can eat in this side of town. I have to say that the staffs are very friendly and do all they can to ensure I had a great time. The food is good and perhaps better then Gens BBQ. They have good side dishes. I would recommend ordering 1,2,3, and 13 from the Premium menu. I forgot to say that the name of the place is King Kong Korean BBQ and not what is listed on google map.
Great place to eat Korean BBQ with the grill style at your table. This is definitely family style dining. We tried dining just 2 people with combo A, were over stuffed and had take home. When we dined with 4 or more it's the perfect amount when ordering the appropriate combo size and still a lot of food to go around. I've been coming here for about 6 years while living in Beaverton, super close by when I want my Korean BBQ fix. We usually order a meat combo and request for kimchi soup instead of soybean soup because it's more flavorful with a spicy kick. We also get kimchi pancake and fried dumplings to start. The side dishes are good and the salad is fresh with a yummy dressing. If its your first time dining, just a tip that all side dishes are limitless because theres so much meat; you want to be sure to have enough to eat them together. The ventilation is pretty good here, although you cant avoid smelling like bbq afterwards, it's not that bad. Overall, friendly staff, good food, and family friendly.
Just ate here for the first time. It was delicious and the staff was so kind and helpful! They went out of their way to explain the dishes and have definitely won life time customers!
Amazing food, amazing fast service, amazing staff, amazing atmosphere. I went here with my family for my 20th birthday and was blown away. We got a BBQ combo that was meant for 2-3 people but us 3 couldn't eat it all. It was just SO MUCH FOOD. Highly recommend it.
I brought a party of 15 people for Korean BBQ and although I think the size of the party might have overwhelmed the staff a bit, the food was delicious! I wish the rice would have come out sooner. We were well into our meat before the rice and soybean soup and fluffy egg stuff came out, even after we asked about it. The yogurt soju cocktail was super tasty, if you like sweet things. Overall, my whole group had a good time. Even with all the people we brought, splitting a combo, the food was overpriced (even for Korean BBQ) But I also think that’s kind of the norm for good Korean BBQ in this area unfortunately :-/
